Yeah, that just struck me when you said that (the spoiler part anyway). I doubt they will go that route now, it would be insensitive. They'll probably make it as unrealistic as possible. They may even take that part out completely, although I don't know how they would do it.
You ass.. you made me tear up.. Aww. Very tender poem. I can't believe you were worried about it. You did a good job. Sometimes it's hard to put such a feeling into words like that.
Aww. My Poetry is easy to read in general, but I like that the imagery was projected really well and that if flowed. I just need to stop writing poetry about Aaron, if he knew I showed everyone other than him, he might blush.. haha
Aww, thanks Layla. I was going for images. I wanted people to imagine themselves with the person they love in a dimly lit quiet peace and comfort with one another. Glad you saw it.
Thanks Lisa! I'm trying to be inventive about how Corey's Mother responds to the violent outburst. I have a few ideas. OR will he get away with it like he has in the past, with just a verbal warning and a trip to the couch? lol. We'll see.
And, I'm thankful that people are starting to warm up to Jenny, so far she's been more central in Corey's life/interactions than Clinton and before that, the Greg character.
Britney Griner comes out as gay shortly after being selected No. 1 for the WNBA Draft. For those of you that don't know she was the star 6 foot 8 inch center for Baylor University. There was always questions about her sexuality, but for the most part people left her alone in the media and focused on her basketball abilities. Now she hopes that she can help youth understand sexuality and overcoming adversity because of their sexuality.
Very nice Role Model, I believe.
The whipping scene was the turning point in Katnis' decision on whether to run or to stay and fight, so they needed to keep that one.
As for the spoiler - YES, me too. It was one of the rare extremely touching moments in the second book.
