Wow…guess Luke and Len better be on guard because the Family has no boundaries. Luke already caused Bear to be disowned and now they’re taking on Elaine and Josh. Thankfully, Len stopped to talk to Leander. Now he needs to play it cool, take inventory of all his property and get the locks changed. I love the plot twist. But I don’t think Len is going to believe Luke and Leander. I think father and son share the same hard headed characteristics of never being wrong and being influenced by others. He already threw Luke out of the house for Elaine once. So Luke’s boyfriend, who seems to have caused all these recent behavioral changes as of late will be held as blame and ignored. Keep us on our toes as you continue your story…I’m hooked!!

Did anyone get the license number of whatever just run me over? Or better yet whom James Matthew’s?!?! Bear, the youngest of the Shepards is Elaines’. So was the beating by his “Mum” payback for all the years Scott made her treat him as her own? And Elaine also pedals drugs supplied by Scott, and uses the time to catch up with Leander. It’s no wonder Leander shut Luke out, this now encompasses his entire clan. Mum, real mum, recently departed dad the drug dealer (what was occurring when he had his heart attack and who was there), multiple half siblings, possible full siblings, crazy cousins and a broken back. Now in all good soap operas or television serials there’s always someone back from the dead…Yes??? No….ugh So Len is the target of whatever scam Elaine is running, but doesn’t appear to have much for the picking. I’m back at square one. Great story.

Is Leander going to push Luke away because he isn’t expected to walk again? What’s Dukes’ reaction going to be to Leanders’ news? Duke and Luke are separated by a century of family tradition, but at least they shared a meal together. Glad Elaine and her son were out so Luke and his dad could talk. Is it coincidence that Elaine is out tonight? Did some of the information his Dad share come from Elaine? And what is missing from the store, stuff you’d start a fire with?? Good for Jordan that the Daddy Big Bucks could compensate for his destroyed catamaran, but still not the same as the time and love to restore her originally. And the culprits walk free….ugh

You know you're caught and you choose add assault of a constable on top of grand theft? What didn't Zak or the constables see when they checked over the catamaran? Or were they just drunks going for a joy ride? Enjoying your story, just sorry Zak and Jordan won't be exploring a relationship now the catamaran is gone.

A family who burned their business to survive, crippled a son and knew her youngest son was getting raped on a regular basis by his father and say it's "Family"? Wow, just wow. And now that Duke struck the Queen of the Grifters she'll probably send people after him. And is Mary the real force behind everything? Scott falling out with his mother? Clyde's change of heart toward Leander?

Arson? Maybe Ben? What’s Elaine really know about the Shepard family? And why would Luke ever make that comment to Duke? Is he just that self centered he doesn’t care what he says when he’s having a temper tantrum? Good chapter for multiple avenues of thought.
