    It's not my cat. Speaking of.... when I was talking to my older son a couple of nights ago, the subject of little Miss Mia came up and regarding the fact that we have the critter, he commented: "Yeah, that was not on my Mom bingo card." Smart ass kid. 😂

    Ok... first Have you ever heard someone beg for vengeance? For justice? Have you ever heard a child do it? I have. I have now Gut punch. Nicely done. So the combo zombonfire was a success. Yay! But I think @centexhairysub has a point. Are they really safe? I guess we'll have to wait to find out. Dammit. Good job Wayne.

    OMG My faith in humanity has been somewhat restored. A couple of months ago we had a couple apply for an annual site. Unfortunately, they were declined. A couple of days ago the husband came in to talk to me about their situation. After finding out more information I resubmitted the application and when it came back declined again, I was able to send an override request to my regional manager with the reasons and what they were doing to rectify the situation. He approved the application. Yesterday, my front desk person called them to let them know. The wife was so happy. Today, she came in with a beautiful bouquet and told us she was having lunch delivered tomorrow. Sometimes it's worth going into work Have a great day everyone!

    Hmmmm.... maybe for the time being. Eventually the wild call of the Boston cream will consume your every moment. Also, keep the consummate need for a donut in your back pocket. The next time you're feeling down and one of those bears asks "can I get you anything tim?", you can look up pitifully and speak the magic word: "Donut?"

    I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with! It's great the way that fellow writers support each other and the feedback from readers is a big part of why a lot of us keep going. Challenges get in the way of everyone at some point. Even though I haven't been as present on the site the past year, I know when I am here it's a safe place to be.

    Thankfully she's an indoor cat and I haven't seen any giant cockroaches in this place. No... they're not "Palmetto bugs". Don't ever let anyone try to pull that BS on you. Three inch flying monstrosities that move at the speed of light do not deserve some cutesy little name to make them sound less terrifying. If she brings me one of those it's back to the pound she goes and roach bait traps will be covering every surface. I hate those things.

    He's more than "a bit". He teaches PhD level mayhem courses. I do believe @Gary L inadvertently enrolled his two tiny terrors in the online course. While y'all know I'm a native New England girl, I think I've picked up enough of the wicked awesome southern slang that I can at least translate with reasonable confidence.
