Most days I can overlook other people's stupidity. Today I just have to shake my head. Came home to a note from the evil sister-in-law saying the cat went to the vet today and the vet said to add metamucil to her wet food to help with the loose stools. Problems that I have with this: 1. Metamucil normally treats constipation but upon consulting Dr. Google, it can be used in felines to help absorb excess moisture in the digestive tract. 2. The cat is always dehydrated when they take her to the vet. Why exacerbate that by giving it a digestive aid that absorbs water? 3. Nowhere on the little love note did it indicate how much it how often. Ummmm....wouldn't you ask the vet that question? 4. Who is going to be purchasing the stuff? Over my dead body will I spend more than we already do on a cat that's not ours. We buy dry food, litter, and litter box liners. That's enough. I will be dancing with glee at the end of the month when we move out. We are not telling anyone in his family where we are moving to. Once we have everything moved, we will then send a text saying... we're gone, somebody has to deal with the cat. I will be leaving all of the doors open and let them deal with her peeing and crapping wherever she wants (right now we confine her to one room when we are not home and at night). Side note: She finally noticed that I had the tissue box blocking that stupid picture of her daughter with her rabbit and she moved the tissues. I will be moving it back. Game on, Karen. 😈

Wow. You guys have been awfully quiet today. Chapter has been up almost 10 hours and we're only on 30 comments. I'm disappointed.

Miles took the high road. He knows he still has feelings, but he's not going to deliberately be a home wrecker.

We will find out soon enough how this plays out.

Next chapter will be Troy dealing with any potential fallout from the kiss.

Troy didn't just rock the boat, he tipped it over. I think he's going to be too busy trying to keep his head above water to try to rendezvous with Miles again.

There is a lot for these two to navigate. Owen is in the dark and right now I don't think Troy could find his way out of a paper bag with a spotlight at the open end. Gonna be hard to reconcile his actions with his intent moving forward. Marco Polo got his attitude from his creator.

I don't think he's in danger of regressing. Troy, on the other hand is most likely a hot mess.

Some connections can never truly be severed. Now that the kiss is in play, its up to Troy and Miles to figure it out.

A tale of a socially awkward half-human, half-vampire finding his fated mate in a cute little cambion with a bit of a catch-me-if-you-can attitude and the mishaps, misunderstandings, and jealous bully vampire just plain being a pain in the you-know-what getting in the way of them connecting the way they should (wink wink). Oh, and we can't forget the mother who seriously needs to be medicated, an absentee dad, two substitute father figures, and loyal best friend all trying to "help". It's a fun story and worth the read.

A wonderful ending for these two. Delving into to the supernatural genre right out of the gate isn't easy and you did a great job!
