No frozen toes. Just establishing a new primary care physician. I'm damn lucky I found someone. I called close to 20 offices and no one was accepting new patients. One office was scheduling a year out. I like this guy. He was more thorough than the last few. The only downside is now I have referrals to about 7 or 8 other services..... but hopefully it'll get all my ailments under control.

Write what you want to write. That magic unicorn story that everyone likes doesn't exist. So...... let your imagination dictate what gets put into writing. Most authors have a favorite genre that they are comfortable with. If you want to try something different, take a look at the prompts that come out on Thursdays. Watch for writing events like the Secret Author and Anthologies. They're great for inspiration. As for smut... there's no right or wrong but there can be too much. When in doubt dial it back a notch or two. Make your readers use their imaginations. Good luck!

Mea Culpa

I watched the first half of the game and had to shut it off after the second interception by Miami. Too much anxiety. The rivalry is a bitter one. When my son was in the band he told us that when they go to Miami to play, the band has to have a police escort and they need a parent volunteer escort to go to the bathroom because the Miami fans are horrible. They had stuff thrown at them when they were walking through the stadium. I grew up around here and have always been loyal to New England teams. In college, whenever I went home on the weekends and took public transportation I'd have to change lines at the North Station T stop, which happened to be at the Boston Gardens (which is now called something else but locals still refer to it as The Gardens). If the Bruins or Celts were playing the place was a zoo. This was back when the Celtics were on fire with Larry Byrd and Kevin McHale. New England fans can be absolutely rabid in their loyalty. I'll root for the teams but I don't really follow them throughout the season. If FSU plays at BC, I'll probably try to go. Its been a few years since that match up has been scheduled. Enough sports talk. Most of y'all dont speak Sportese.

Any time the Yankees get whooped is a good night. Too bad the Noles aren't doing the same. Currently they're down 21-3 in the 3rd quarter against Miami. ☹️ Let's hope they rally.

I put on a sweatshirt today for the first time since last winter when we had a week or two of 50 degree days. The only reason I wore one today was because I went to the indoor pool to do some water exercise and it was 53°F when I left. I figured being damp from the pool would be a bit brisk when I was done. I have a few windows open in the house now and it is somewhat cool at 62. I draw the line at socks though..... I'm waiting for the toes to turn blue before I cover them up lol. Have a good day!
