Damn damn damn 🙈🙈🙈 Eon what have you done 🤦 I totally get it, but he knew kalian would step forward and while i can't be sure talon was a planned appearance or totally random, eon had to know talon would be triggered. Kalian getting caught in the middle like that was just wrong place at the wrong time. Did talon seriously expect kalian would chose him and his silver tongued cousin over his own brother? I mean he saved sumon in the end what more do you want? I wonder if this has incident has formed a crack in that magical barrier in kalian's head finally. Also....is the soul eater making a come back? This voice in kalian's head seems familiar somehow 👀

I can't believe that jakey would tolerate the way the team and sasha talk to his brother, unless they had something on him. I'm thinking jakey was a little too experienced if you know what I mean. He supposedly knew right away what he liked and how rough he wanted to be treated. Unless i miss my guess, jakey has been a play thing for Sasha and possibly the whole team. One or both of the twins need to grow a backbone, sasha could be a hot playmate if he treated them with some respect.

Dammit, i was hoping, that at the very least, something might be uncovered so that galen could have some closure. My heart aches for galen and how he's left with the memory that his bonded chose to end his life, leaving galen broken, instead of the truth. Reinard loved galen with everything he had, so much that he would move lightyears away in hopes of keeping him safe.

This could go one of three ways i think... 1. Reinard is presumed dead, but leaving galen thinking he purposely floated himself. 2. Reinard is confirmed to be dead, through the uncovering of some kind of evidence that is to be determined. The next book will be galen searching the stars until he exacts revenge on the faro that took his beloved from him. 3. Somehow, someway, by radical divine intervention, reinard lives and returns to galen years later after he's finally recovered from his near death experience and his kits, if they survive to be born, are able to travel for two whole months via spaceship. The series leaves us with reinard getting off the godawful craft toting his brood along, thinking thoughts of a happy much needed reunion with his bonded, and how surprised Galen's face will look when he answers his door. Unfortunately i think #3 may be the least plausible, but hey that's the one I'm rooting for.

Kalian wanting to get himself back into top form was a pleasant surprise, i feel like he's letting the cushy palace lifestyle get the better of him. He's so busy worrying about everything that he's not taking any time to focus on himself. I think he needs to go back to the school of hard knocks and take wyn with him, the "he's only 12" line won't do him any favours in the next assassination attempt.

Omg I've finally gotten around to reading this, i IMMEDIATELY lost my mind when i saw this chapter update! However, seeing the word count made me hesitate lol this series is a roller coaster and i had to mentally prepare myself to read this recent nuke that got dropped on us after so long. 1. I see my biggest 'ship kandric/ jamon have not declared their eternal love for each other, how disappointing 🙈 2. Aster's newest trick of making his clothes disappear is delightful 3. There is so much sexual tension between Connor and sharris that you could cut it with a spoon 4. Many gaps have been filled, only for you to take a wrecking ball to it and leave us all reeling 5. In a previous chapter wek told vondum that a caster splits those ice saws according to echelon, as a teacher he did 3....now 6? This can only mean...😱😱😱 6. It seems sharing bedrolls is commonplace in this world, either out of necessity or servitude. I'm curious if we might see some definitive pairings amongst our mishmash of misfits, born out of genuine affection and attraction, excluding aster and pocet of course. 7. I'm literally on pins and needles waiting for the long awaited reunion and meeting of all the brothers, on the edge of my seat and chewing my nails to little nubs. 8. I really REALLY want more conth spotlight with orrum, focusing on their bond as it builds and develops, after vondum gets his long awaited pony ride of course lol 9. I have way too many things to talk about that I've since forgotten during this 7 book long chapter lol

Isn't lyme the same age as kalian? Wyn would be dating someone the same age as his dad 💀 I was thinking more "opposites attract" kinda like wyn's own parents. I think as a pair, once they break down each other's walls, wyn and paras could be the next power couple in the years to come.

I absolutely agree, kalian can't baby him forever. Losing his childish innocence is worth being able to defend himself and others, they can't be at his side every second of every day to watch over him. Kalian would regret it for the rest of his life if wyn was killed simply because he didn't know how to defend himself, as per kalian's orders no less.

Anyone else wanna see wyn and paras catch feelings for each other? Anyone? No? Just me? Ok then...😭

I saw this coming a mile away 🤦 landry was bound to ask how the cops got all this info, regardless if they give a name there is only one person close enough to have seen everything besides landry himself. To think noah wasn't prepared for this confrontation...smh. getting it turned around on him though was was landry reaching, he's 80, son going to federal prison, store closing forever, what's he got to lose? Glad noah came away relatively unharmed but someone's gotta give him a shake, he's so damn trusting it's scary

I did not consider that right off, but considering the reception he got, she almost seemed too casual about shivay showing up and agreeing to her demands. Shivay's father needs to grow a pair, the kids are grown up, time to make that woman pay an eye for an eye for killing his former lover and extorting him for his money.

Oh man i could smell this set up a mile away, siku is too naive for his own good. Who knows how long it's been since he was last immersed in human culture, he thinks bears have the moral high ground because they're touched by Odin, unfortunately even bears can succumb to human depravity. Colt deserves to die for his actions, it's not murder if it's justified. Poor shivay, i hope he comes to his senses soon.
