I was worried about something happening because Zune didn’t tell anyone what happened at the cafe and the fact Daryl was cagey about what was going on was concerning yet I didn’t expect this. I expected that the guy wanted to have sex with Zune and that they’d jump him not that Daryl would sell him out to them. Everyone loves Daryl but this is a clear example of how things aren’t always as they appear to be. Now Zune is going to be raped and Kevin is going to be sitting at home thinking Zune doesn’t want to be with him. I also wonder if Kevin will believe the truth of his cousinr’s involvement if Zune tells him considering how he seems to look up to his brother so this would be a shock to him. I can’t see any reason Kevin could think Zune would lie about that though. Daryl could apologize till the world ends and he’d be more likely for me to kill him than ever accept his apology. I hope Daryl ends up in jail but it’s unlikely as Zune like many victims may feel too ashamed to even go to the police and he has no proof about Daryl. Nobody knows where Zune is so sadly I can’t see him being saved from this despicable fate.

Honestly the whole making Zune suffer by catching Kevin having sex with Joey while cold kinda fits the crime. It made Zune feel the way Kevin felt even though Kevin wasn’t cheating on him considering they were over. I’m not saying it was right but I’m not saying it’s the worst thing in the world he could have done. Now the thing about Stephen was a shocking revelation and it was horrible. I can’t believe a gay guy of all people could work to expose another gay guy and humiliate him like that considering to me it’s sacred to respect someone’s choice of when to come out not to mention playing with someone’s emotions like that is twisted. Still that was years ago so while I get Zune finding that story disturbing people change. Kevin is not who he was then vs Zune who lied for months & just cheated on him. Not saying Zune shouldn’t be forgiven just saying Zune’s actions were way more recent and to me in an odd way his lies are worse than his cheating as the sex was a moment of passion thing while the lies were more calculated & planned. In the end I don’t know who’s better for Zune but if he can forgive Kevin for his past as well as his act of revenge by throwing the fact he was having sex with Joey in his face then I’d say Kevin still seems like the person he should be with. Kevin seemed to honestly love Zune and what likely hurt Kevin most was how Zune kept him at arms length only to start professing his love after confessing to cheating which made his claims of love seem like false words meant to keep Kevin from leaving him. I mean how would you feel if your boyfriend made up some rule about only kissing once a month to insure things went slow only to kiss another guy on more than one occasion and have sex with him the first time he attempted to get him into bed? I mean he doesn’t know about all the kisses but still it’s kinda crazy that your boyfriend won’t even let you kiss him yet can give his virginity to a guy who was just recently the school homophobic bully. Plus unless it happened outside of the printed story Kevin was too upset to get the full story so he may think Zune was having sex with Edward on a regular basis. Yes Carol is right that Zune confessed and has been feeling guilty yet that doesn’t make it any easier for Kevin to trust him going forward. I hope they get back together but it won’t be easy.

The thing that makes this betrayal feel even worse to me is the fact he is able to resist kissing Kevin for a whole month and keeps him at arms length yet after a kiss with Edward he ends up in his bed giving up his virginity. This shows to me how little he seems to care for Kevin or that’s how Kevin will view it as he’s not nearly as passionate with him. This was inevitable though with all his lies about what he was doing when he met up with Edward, how he he spilled his guts to Edward about his feelings about Matt getting back with his mom yet didn’t seem to talk to Kevin about it, how he was despressed over the idea of not seeing Edward everyday anymore after school started, etc...as in the end he seemed to be developing feelings for Edward beyond friendship.

Zune is a little naive or oblivious if Kevin can tell that despite the fact that Edward comes off as a homophobe he seems to have feelings for Zune. On one hand I wish Kevin had told him that but I figure Zune would have just told him he was being ridiculous so it’s probably better he didn’t as Zune may have gotten mad at him for being jealous. Kevin has a sordid history and is far from perfect yet as stated in above comments Zune’s lies don’t make any logical sense except for the fact deep down he’s attracted to Edward so he fears Kevin finding out they’re spending time together. I mean he was smiling and so happy Edward was coming over in this chapter and then made that tasteless joke about it being a text from his new boyfriend which sounds like foreshadowing. I think Kevin is acting too hostile towards Edward considering he saved Zune multiple times but considering he isn’t oblivious to the looks Edward is giving Zune some of his hostility is likely based on suspicions & jealousy.

This is a very interesting twist. I guess Zune’s father became a better person yet never bothered to seek his son out. Of course there’s often more to the story and he’s only heard his mother’s side of it. Zune has a lot on his plate but he’s creating some of the drama himself like the lies he’s been telling Kevin. There’s a reason he’s lying but does he realize why he is? I suspect it is because deep down he is attracted to Edward and especially after that kiss he should tell Kevin what’s going on as even if nothing is happening it’ll look like he’s cheating if/when Kevin finds out he’s been lying about spending time with Edward. In the end I don’t think the kiss between Kevin & Joey was totally willing nor something Kevin initiated yet I have a feeling if he’s not careful Zune will cheat on him. He’s already given into one passionate moment with Edward who claims to be straight and likely has some confused emotions towards him after what they went through so in the future he’s likely on thin ice when it comes to self control when it comes to Edward.

Being gone for that long is suspicious considering what Zune saw but Joey could have been forcing himself on Kevin. The only thing is he managed to push Joey away when Zune showed up but not before so that has me wondering how much his hormones were interfering with his common sense. Zune kissing Edward isn’t shocking to me and I’m a little surprised he was upset about betraying Kevin by giving his first kiss to Edward when he thought Kevin was cheating on him. I’m also wondering why Kevin didn’t run after Zune, but he may have been too scared of what Zune would say to him after what happened plus he may have been too busy focused on chewing Joey out for possibly ruining his relationship. It’s easy to say someone should have done something in hindsight but we don’t know how we’d react ourselves so I won’t judge him too harshly for not running after Zune. I’m worried for their safety but considering this story isn’t about to end I’m sure Zune & Edward will be survive though I’m sure he lied about calling the cops.

Typically a straight guy does not paint a portrait of a gay guy he supposedly hates and does not smile at said portrait. Zune seems to be a smart guy so he should be able to read between the lines and realize Edward’s homophobic actions are likely just his method of hiding the fact he is gay. If my dad was as homophobic as his I’d be hiding my true feelings as well though I hope I wouldn’t act like a homophobic jerk in order to appear to be straight. I also know it’s a stereotype but the whole dancing & cooking thing does not sound like something a macho bully would do either which to me is another hint at his true sexual orientation. He likely dropped doing those things along with art for fear his dad would label such things as gay. This is a crazy love triangle that’s forming and I feel a little sorry for Kevin already because Zune has already lusted after Edward once despite his attitude so if Edward is interested in him as I suspect he is then I foresee drama in the future.

I want to know what Tom overheard but I’m not remotely shocked as I’ve been expecting Nathan to cheat. I mean come on I know people can have threesomes without ruining a relationship but that combined with whatever is going on between him & Alex plus all his flirting with people like Tom makes it likely obvious to everyone but Robbie that he wants to have sex with other people. In the end I think Robbie cares for Nathan more than Nathan cares for him...though some things like that phone number deal in the previous chapter makes me wonder about Robbie’s feelings as well. I’m expecting Tom overheard Nathan talking to Alex and maybe some other guy. Heck Nathan might have had the balls to outright ask Tom if he wanted to have sex with him. I wish Tom had said more and I can’t wait for the next chapter even though I already worry about Robbie. I wish he wouldn’t give into Nathan’s desire for a thresome and I don’t think the no kissing request was unreasonable because people who have no strings attached sex don’t always kiss as that’s sort of an emotional thing. Seeing Nathan kiss someone else is going to hurt possibly more than the sex do to the potential emotions behind it and Robbie is liable to start getting suspicious of Nathan potentially cheating on him after he sees him having sex with someone else. I’m also curious about where Nathan will magically find this guy because it’s not like he was supposedly having a sex life or even dating life before Robbie and it’s a small town so where is he going to find this guy? I’m betting he was no virgin and that he knows where to find other gay guys.

In this chapter I actually feel Matt is the more unreasonable one. Yes, Andy may piss him off by saying he is willing to give him up but it didn’t sound completely self centered to me. Matt is the one who said he could never be in a true forever relationship with Andy and wants the typical wife & kids so is it so wrong that Andy wants Matt to be happy? Matt claims to be in love with Julie and wants her forever so I don’t see why he’s so pissed that Andy is worried he’ll lose her because of him. Let’s face it most people even if they were ok that their lover was bi or whatever wouldn’t like sharing them with someone else forever. I mean can you imagine Andy in the future explaining to his kids their Uncle Matt is his pseudo-husband and he’s married to their Aunt Julie. This is a complicated relationship I can’t blame Andy for often getting confused over Matt being straight yet uses a term like calling them a couple which doesn’t fit with what he originally said he wanted their relationship to be. I think he main reason why they never had chance of being a true forever couple with just the two of them is that neither can imagine a life with a man. I mean it goes back to how Andy couldn’t understand Kyle’s desire to find a guy to be more of a husband and forever partner than a random lover as Andy being bisexual and identifying more as straight likely can’t picture having a family with a man. Of course Andy initially started out rarely being attracted to guys and now I think it sounds about equal to his attraction to women just that he didn’t seek out men for sex in the past like he did women. Matt on the other hand is apparently only attracted to Andy as far as men go but they seem to satisfy each other emotionally & physically to the point that I can’t comprehend why that would stop him from building a life with Andy except for the fact he just pictures himself with the so called normal life with a wife & kids. I don’t know if Julie can ever accept the relationship between a Andy & Matt nor do I see this ending happily ever after even without the prologue already foreshadowing a sad ending.

I’d look into a restraining order as that woman, and that’s using the term loosely, shouldn’t be allowed anyhere near Adam. I can’t believe she bothered to go to the hospital though it wasn’t truly out of concern for his health rather just a chance for her to spout her inane rhetoric. People like her sometimes make me sad as a Christian because while I know she is a fictional character I am aware there are those out there who do use religion as an excuse to spout hate.

Steve: “I wonder if he really has changed?” What Chris should have said: “Of course he’s changed. He’s dyed his hair and had plastic surgery...oh do you mean his morals? Are you kidding me? He’s a fraud of a televangelist ripping people off. He’s learned from uncle Thaddeus how to fake being a religious man and is using it to fill his pockets with cash. Seems like classic Eric to me. I hope we don’t meet him again. Let’s get real even with plastic surgery while we don’t know his birthdate considering Eric was 15 at the start of this story, didn’t have a birthday, and this epilogue it says it’s been a better part of a year so Eric should be only 16 right? I know they can do a lot with plastic surgery but can they really make a 16 year old look old enough to have grey hair because his new look seems implausible to pull off even with plastic surgery. I wish they hadn’t let that jerk get away and despite his previous claims Steve must have had a soft spot for his brother considering he was so happy he landed on his feet. I get Eric saved them and I get being indebted to him for that yet if it wasn’t for him they wouldn’t have been in danger. If he wanted to help he could have contacted his father, the feds, etc... In the end Eric did it so he could get away with the money and is a self centered prick.

Drugs can make you crazy but I don’t buy that as being the sole reason Eric was an evil creep. Sounds like he was one way before he ever got into drugs and I wouldn’t feel like I owed him anything despite how he acted in this chapter so in other words there is no way I would have let him leave with that cash. I would have lied allowing things to hopefully play out like they did in this chapter as he was helpful but when he turned to leave I would have used the butt of my gun to knock him out. He’s using drugs and I suppose peer pressure as an excuse for blackmailing them, video taping them having sex and selling access to said videos online, damaging their tires in a way that could have killed them, attempting to kill them, working with people who planned to kill them, etc...which managed to garner him sympathy allowing him to run off with cash as well as getting away with everything illegal he did. Even if he can blame it mostly on drugs what’s stopping him from taking drugs again, going crazy, and causing chaos for someone else down the road? They just let an attempted murderer, child pornography distributor, drug ring and counterfeiting connected, blackmailing fool out into the world. He may never trouble them again but I worry for the world.

I’m not sure who could have shown up at the last minute to help. I hope it’s the cop Chris helped and that he was undercover rather than an actual traitor because to be led to your death by a guy who’s life worked to save is horrible. I have my doubts though that’s the case but I can hope it is.

How did they manage to get the jump on two trained police officers? I had a bad feeling about Veronica not showing up and her being captured isn’t as much of a surprise. Poor Veronica doesn’t deserve what they’re doing to her but nobody does. I’m not sure how the can handle this without any help but we know they will somehow make it through this.

Uh oh those two going to check out a business connected to a hacker who’s connected to other criminals is not their smartest idea. Potential for more danger ahead.

The sheriff said blood is thicker than water or he’d kill Eric...how are they related? Nobody has mentioned the sheriff being a cousin or any blood relative before so is Eric adopted? I mean that’s the only thing I can think of if you take his words to mean they are blood related as otherwise I would assume they’d know if they were related to the Piedmont sheriff. I’m worried about Chris but I’m sure he’ll survive.

Ok, Dex getting his entire van worked on and upgrade somewhat kinda pisses me off even more. The guy acts emotionless half the time which is a personality trait one can live with because that’s how he is but he essentially sold his friends out. Yeah I know the site could be easily found if they had bothered to look for it but damn that’s just cold to sell them out like that for work on his car. When I thought it was vodka I thought ok he’s hooked on vodka or some shit like that so I wasn’t as irritated with him for his morality till we learned he got a lot more out of it than that. It also sounds like those two perverts really wanted that url or were giving him bonuses for how turned on they were by the content by working on his van like that.

Ok Dex I get they are your friends too and that they would find the site anyway....but you told two gay guys how to find the site your other two friends had illegal taken videos of them having sex uploaded to in exchange for alcohol? Dude that’s not cool. I’d be kinda pissed at him for a while as it feels like a betrayal. Nobody is mentioning how Steve wants to be a lawyer and how while this was illegally done scandals like this can impact some careers. I mean both could get grief over this for years and people including their friends are just going to make jokes about it for a long time. I’d be mortified and pissed every time they made a comment about it plus while I wouldn’t press charges if my friends started talking about it too much indicating they watched it or owning any form of it like the printed off pictures Veronica mentioned I’d remind them it’s technically kiddie porn hoping that would shut them up not that it would work.

I don’t know why it’s only when they’re eating but I wonder if Eric managed to somehow get a tape or photo of them having sex which he posted to the internet. He went to jail before they ever had sex but he may have spied on them since the sherif had him supposedly at his place as I believe this started before he came back home. I can see that little creep posting a porno online with fake names to make some cash and embarrass them. I originally thought it might be something more harmless yet meant to annoy them like profiles on gay dating apps and sites under false names as I thought some of these guys might have thought they were meeting a date with someone somehow leaking their location yet I’m leaning more towards something stranger like a porno as all of these guys are too uncomfortable to say why they seem to be mistaking them for someone else plus some of these encounters are way too random to be a setup with someone giving out their location. I’m also thinking it definitely ties into them being gay because only men are coming up to them claiming to know them or of them. One thing that throws off this theory is whenever one is approached only one is so if it’s linked to an intimate photo or video of the two of them I’d expect both to be acknowledged. Perhaps it is maybe a nude image or something yet they are alone in the images yet I don’t get how food ties into it. I mean I could imagine how food could tie into it 😂 but as far as we know they haven’t gotten further than ice cubes. I know they can’t force these people to tell them but they seem to let these people just walk away without trying very hard to find out what’s going on. I mean this latest time is the main time they’ve tried to get information. I’m probably wrong about it being pornographic in nature but these guys uncomfortable reactions to them saying they have the wrong guy just makes me assume it’s something embarrassing.

It’s not as if Chris is a virgin himself but I can understand him being upset at the note he found as it is shows Steve once had strong feelings for someone else. Of course there’s the flashback to what Veronica said that makes it sound like the guy dumbed Steve so he could potentially still have feelings for his guy. Then there’s the fact he never told Chris about a previous relationship along with the fact he’s kept the note he wrote the guy after all this time which isn’t something you typically do when you’re over someone. Chris may even have the wrong impression that it’s a ongoing relationship and that Steve is cheating on him since he found the note on the front page of a notebook that Steve is still currently using. The drama never stops coming and Chris is going to feel heartbroken until he talks to Steve as this is his first love. He still may feel upset he was left in the dark but overall he’ll begin to calm down once he knows the facts rather than coming to conclusions on his own.

I’m worried the police will make out like they’re in on whatever Eric is doing because they didn’t come forward with the USB drive immediately upon finding it. It seems like the police are homophobic considering that they seemed to want to paint them as potential criminals more so than victims considering all the evidence supported that those credit cards were only linked the Eric due to only his prints being on them plus that female officer avoiding looking at them makes me think it’s because she was uncomfortable with the fact they are gay. Then there’s the remark about Steve’s dad not being good at raising kids which gives the impression the officer blames the dad in some way for Steve being gay as unless he thinks Steve is a criminal as well I can’t think of any other reason he’d say something like that.

🤣 Eric deserves everything he gets so I’m glad they have him so terrified. I’m a little confused why the idiot tried blackmailing his brother in front of Chris when obviously they had compared notes on the fact he was blackmailing them both otherwise they wouldn’t be teaming up to threaten him. He was probably too busy try not to piss himself and too arrogant to think clearly otherwise he’d have realized Chris already knew about Steve. Would have been smarter to hope Steve didn’t know the whole detail of Chris being in love with him and maybe tried threatening Chris to let him out rather than threatening his brother.

I’m glad as well as happily surprised Helen survived. I’m also glad they found Scar’s remains as I was worried the explosion would have destroyed all traces of DNA causing them to always wonder if he was still out there somewhere. Seems like they all got closure though the road ahead may be rough for Brandon & Chase now that they’ve come out though hopefully they won’t get too much grief.

Considering the way Helen jumped in front of the gun to protect Eric I had a feeling her wounds were truly fatal. It’s painful despite the fact she’s a fictional character to experience the loss of such an amazing person. In many was she wasn’t just their manager but family so they will all grieve terribly over her death assuming she is dead as the story seems to indicate. There are always plot twists but I have little hope she is alive based on how the former medic acted.

Here’s hoping Helen & Jon will survive their injuries. I doubt Brandon will shoot Eric either because he can’t bring himself to or because help arrives at the last moment. It’s possible Jon might not be injured badly enough to keep from managing to fire at Dimitri if he has an opening but I’m guessing someone like a biker will show up. Brandon loves Chase so much I think it’s 50/50 on whether he’d actually shoot Eric but considering he’s smart enough to know Dimitri will kill them all anyway I doubt he’d blindly trade Eric’s like for Chase’s though at the moment he might not be thinking clearly. It’s nice to see that Helen didn’t die immediately but we don’t know how bad her wounds are nor how injured Jon is so there’s a lot to worry about right now.
