I had a feeling Kasey would let something slip not that Kyle was surprised. I still don’t get why Mason & Jared were so upset they knew nor why they didn’t want them to know. It just seems so ridiculous they would feel the need to hide their relationship but whatever at least everyone knows now. Well almost everyone as Doug, Lily, Nana, Chris, and Steph don’t.

I don’t get why Jared is being so cagey and trying to hide the relationship from his family. At first I thought maybe because it was new so he was uncertain of where it was heading but his slip ups where he almost called Mason Baby/Babe and almost referred to him as Papa to Kasey imply the relationship is very serious so he should just be honest. If he didn’t know his blood relatives and extended family would be ok with him being bisexual it would be one thing but the majority of them ranging from his brothers to his pseudo dad, aka Jeremy, are gay themselves so there shouldn’t be any fallout from him being honest about the relationship not to mention they aren’t stupid as most of them probably have an idea as Kyle for one seems to have caught onto their relationship. It’s possible it’s Mason who is not ready to announce their relationship but the same thing goes for him as I just don’t comprehend why they would feel the need to hide it. If nothing else Kasey is liable to eventually say something that might imply there’s more going on between the two than simple friendship such as the fact he apparently is used to Mason being referred to as his Papa or something similar at home.

Jared and Mason were busy huh...so that’s what they call it now. 😂 Jared man don’t be so cagey with your gay twin and just let it out. I mean your daddy was secretly bi, your twin is gay, and your younger brother is gay so this won’t be so shocking. In the end the only odd thing about the pairing is that Mason is Beth’s brother though there’s nothing that odd about it I suppose as Mason has been there to give Jared emotional support plus there were minor hints he liked Jared early on so this felt inevitable assuming Jared was remotely attracted to men as we didn’t know if he was anything other than straight.

This chapter had positives and negatives. I’m glad to hear Nathan say it was just just a pass at him and he didn’t sleep with Alex. I mean Robbie wouldn’t have any right to be upset if it happened before they dated but still it’s kind of nice Nathan has been honest about his sexual history. I didn’t like that Nathan nonchalantly told Robbie he wouldn’t end things without telling him rather than the typical I wouldn’t ever dump you response you’d usually get from someone who appears to love you. It implies Nathan hasn’t ruled out the possibility of dumping Robbie in the future and may have even thought about it. I also don’t like the fact he wouldn’t tell Robbie what the show was as I’m wondering if it’s something that might make Robbie jealous or uncomfortable like if it somehow centered around other good looking, possibly gay guys. I’m guessing Alex knew or guessed there was something going on between Robbie & Nathan when he left that note for Nathan considering the timing of his leaving it so that’s more evidence to me that no matter how nice Alex acts now that he’s not right for Robbie because if that’s the case he didn’t care about hurting Robbie deeply by seducing his boyfriend. There’s a chance that the timing could just be a coincidence with Alex only going after Nathan because he was known to be gay but I have my doubts plus if that was simply the case he would have tried to have sex with Nathan before Robbie as Nathan was more of a sure bet. Ugh I know Robbie panicked and while I might have as well there was no reason to lie to Nathan so Nathan may assume Robbie is cheating on him when he eventually finds out about his past with Alex. Well to be fair Nathan already isn’t happy with Alex living there so he probably would be freaking out if he knew they had sex in the past and likely would have assumed they still were so I can see that being a concern with telling him yet it’s still something Robbie should have revealed as it will come back to bite him eventually. This chapter title seems somewhat misleading as I’m not sure what painful truths were revealed though some truths were hidden. I was hoping Robbie would have talked to Tom as I’m very curious about what he overheard. He could have misheard something or it could have been an innocent conversation that didn’t sound so innocent, such as Nathan talking to Alex about that note as he was likely suspicious of Alex possibly being interested in Robbie, yet I doubt it. I just don’t trust Nathan fully from what we’ve seen and Robbie is kind of starved for love so he’s unwilling to see anything too negative about Nathan at the moment. For instance, he admits he likely hasn’t talked to Tom because he doesn’t want to know what he overheard. Robbie is going to be heartbroken and pretty messed up if their relationship ends though it seems inevitable plus he’s likely to end up in the arms of Alex as he’s the only other guy who’s shown a true interest in him outside of Tom.

Wow, that was some unexpected twists. I’d be a little pissed at James for keeping this secret for years. I get he wanted to protect Jared but after they were 18 and out from under the thumb of Rudolph & Penelope, as they have been money wise for the last few months, he could have found a way to tell them. Surely they could have been discreet and known about each other before now rather than revealing it the way he did. In fact James said he didn’t expect Jared to be subpoenaed so I’m curious when he’d have finally told Kyle & Kaleb that Jared existed. While it made interesting drama to read I’m not exactly sure logically why Ruby was ever involved in the discussion though it’s good they found out what type of girl she was. I know they were trying to cushion the blow but I’m also not thrilled with the method of telling Kyle abou his twin as James told all the other guys first. On one hand I get why he did it but honestly all his good intentions tend to backfire lately so yeah I wouldn’t have told Kyle last. It’s not like Blu being the one to tell him cushioned the blow much and Kaleb knowing first seemed to have zero impact on how Kyle took it so it just seemed pointless to exclude him from the initial revelations. I expected a lot of tension but the courtroom was full of laughs and unexpected twists. Rudolph & Penelope are utter morons which is surprising as they had gotten away with all of this for so long yet threaten people and essentially confess to the judge. Then we learn old Rudy is bisexual and a bottom despite acting like a complete homophobe damning his son’s for being gay. Jeez at this rate all the guys in the family like guys except maybe Jared. 😂 I hope Blu is good at telling the twins apart or Jared could have some embarrassing moments in his future. I wasn’t expecting Nan to know the judge or for them to hookup right there. Of course she has as even less shame than Kaleb & Davis so I guess we shouldn’t be shocked she got laid at the courthouse.

I wish James hadn’t kept that info from them. Hopefully there’s no more bombshells. I’m a little confused as Doug said Kaleb’s trust hadn’t been touched and I thought that they couldn’t access it after he turned 18 without him present yet now we learn Rudolph & Penelope started using his trust as well. It kinda contradicts what was said earlier in the story but I suppose just because the law was supposed to stop them from using the trust doesn’t mean they didn’t find a way to access it illegally possibly after Doug looked into it.

I’m a little confused as why James didn’t want Kaleb to see Kyle as Blu is the one who’s critical condition they were trying to keep secret, well Doug was trying to keep it a secret, and it might have actually calmed Kaleb down some to see his brother was alright. I found the boat being capsized by a fish a little fishy so with Rudolph & Penelope showing up along with the mistaken impression Kyle was dying I’m beginng to wonder if it was an accident. I’m also thinking back to the man with the hat that they assumed with a private investigator and I’m curious about some facts that have been glossed over. My memory is bad as I thought they saw him talking to Christopher but maybe it was Chapman/Chipmunk as Christopher didn’t seem to know who he was. The main thing I’m remembering is the unknown device they caught him trying to attach to their vehicle and I believe they planned to discuss it with Doug yet it hasn’t been mentioned again. I assumed the device was some sort of GPS tracking device but regardless of what it was I wonder if this man was hired to do more than just spy on them if this boating accident wasn’t an accident. It’s unlikely James told Rudolph & Penelope what had happened so it’s not just the fact they thought Kyle was dying but the fact they knew he was in the hospital along with the specific hospital which is suspicious. I’m sure we’ll find out more in time.

Doug seemed more uptight and easily aggravated in this chapter for some reason. I mean he went from a guy who’s family freely talked about sex and a family who Blu semi-seriously talked about being able to walk nude in front of without them blinking to a guy who got irritated with them kissing on the couch. It’s not like despite Kaleb’s joke implying otherwise that they were about to actually have sex in front of them and their company hadn’t arrived yet so overall I didn’t see anything improper nor out of the ordinary for him to be aggravated about. His attitude towards the flirting at the table was more understandable though if Steph hadn’t been there I would have laughed at his comment about their being ladies present considering the rest of them couldn’t care less nor would it have bother Christopher. That invite to Rudolph is a bad idea as it’s not like they can claim he is there uninvited and demand he leave if he shows up as they will have invited him which is an invitation for him to cause trouble. He’s is likely not going to pass up the opportunity to ruin Kyle’s happiness and he’ll take the time to try to ruin Kaleb’s happiness as well.

I know it’s a small thing but one thing that struck me in this chapter was buying the grill without discussing it with everyone in the household. They are pooling their money to buy things and so I think they should discuss it plus I had the impression money was tight at the moment so while the grill was cheap they need to watch these impulse buys as they need to conserve cash. I’m really disappointed in Kaleb as I can ignore Nan’s actions because hey we aren’t surprised because it’s Nan we’re talking about but Kaleb knew better...though I’m betting he can drive better than Kyle. 😂 I think poor Davis felt like they were more than just friends and hearing Kaleb say that must have hurt. I wasn’t shocked that Nan was acting like...Nan but I am surprised Wesley was disappointed when their “dancing” was interrupted. Apparently he likes older ahem much older women but whatever floats his boat. Kaleb’s reasons for not telling Kyle kind of fall flat to me as he knew his brother of all people would understand so despite him not realizing it until this past year when Kyle & Blu got together he must have known he’s gay for a while now so I can understand Kyle feeling hurt Kaleb didn’t tell him as it implies he didn’t trust Kyle as much as Kyle trusted Kaleb.

I don’t know why Kaleb would hide being bi, bicurous, or whatever he is from his brother. I guess if Blu is correct about Kyle potentially going ballistic then I could see Kaleb hiding this relationship between him and Davis though which might make him feel he also needs to hide his sexual orientation as the two are linked. Still, it’s kinda sad that Kaleb feels he can’t be honest with his own brother who was honest with him about his sexual orientation as Kaleb was the only one Kyle could confide in for the longest time. It’s always possible Blu is misreading the situation and nothing is going on between those two though that seems unlikely. I’m guessing Christopher was disowned but I’m not sure why. I mean he did what his father wanted even if the situation didn’t end the way Rudolph wanted it to. With Kaleb suddenly acting like he might be bi I wonder if we’ll get a twist where despite his minor homophobic comments in the past Christopher will turn out to be gay or bi which is why his father tossed him out. Normally I wouldn’t make that jump but I’ve read plenty of stories on here where seemingly straight guys suddenly surprise you by revealing they are a little bent. 😂

I don’t trust the whole Stevie situation 100%. Stevie seemed like a nice guy and the issues he’s having sound realistic yet even if Brandon considers it completely innocent Stevie could be developing feelings for him and vice versa. I mean Stevie is apparently really emotional and in a vulnerable state which could lead to a loss of control over their hormones. I also can’t get passed that photo Jimmy showed of Brandon & Stevie kissing as Brandon didn’t say it was an old photo from when they were dating nor deny it rather he just stated it was all innocent. If the kiss happened I don’t see how kissing your ex is innocent. The breakup with Ian seemed inevitable and I think he could do better than Bobby. As an above comment stated I wouldn’t be surprised if Bobby blamed Billy as he seems to want to blame him lately from what I recall as he was certain Ian was interested in him. Bobby seems nice enough on the surface but the way he’s been treating Ian isn’t right and most of it is out of his own insecurities not to mention I recall his blackmailing ways which made him out to be a poor excuse for a human being in my eyes though I got over it given time thinking he had become a better guy plus Billy was no saint.

What a unexpected twist as once again when things are going smoothly something has to inevitably go off the rails though a gunman and school kidnapping was definitely not the type of bump in the road I was expecting. The cliffhanger implies Troy might be in trouble though the fact that it is a cliffhanger could be used by the author to make us to think it’s a possibility that Troy is in trouble while Troy is actually fine. Still, if it’s in any way connected to the GSA and someone who’s homophobic the gunman was likely targeting the people behind it with Troy & Adam likely at the top of the list, considering they are the co-presidents, while the gunman likely did not know Adam wasn’t in school. It could be related to that homophobic church and even directed more at Adam specifically though I doubt it this time. It also could be a coincidence, but I feel it’s connected to the GSA and/or homophobia in general.

I was suspicious of Mike wanting Preston to come over and leave Keith to deal with his parents over Rush’s destruction because I figured they were planning to talk Preston into going through with the four way for Mike’s birthday though that theory was dashed when his mom, sister, Brian, and Doug were all there. I’m honestly not sure why he wanted Preston to come over and them not just come over together just a little late though nobody referenced his request again in the chapter as I thought it might have been brought up when they showed up together instead of seperately. As Preston said it was a little bit backwards as Keith is Mike’s best friend and it was his dog that caused the damage so he logically should have been the one to stay behind to deal with it rather than Keith so it’s confusing yet maybe Mike suggested it because they are Keith’s parents so he figured Keith would be the one to talk to them.

I’m kinda disappointed Brian & Doug only invited 2 of the 4 boys as it seemed like Preston & Keith were kind of left out, but they seem closer to Mike & Derrick I guess. It looks like this story is taking a somewhat unexpected paranormal turn but some of their earlier comments made me less surprised than I would have been otherwise.

Has Preston lost his mind? He’s terrified of them getting attacked by homophobic idiots if they are outed to the world and now he wants Keith to go to the prom with him? John is going to flip out.

Hmmm when the four way idea was initially revealed I got the impression Preston wanted to see them nude but not actually have sex with them so kinda like the time they had sex in the same room yet this time actually watch the others. Now though he seems more into the idea of actual sex but seems to be against penetration though I doubt in the heat of the moment he’d stop if someone was interested. Keith says he wouldn’t care if it didn’t happen yet it sounded like in this chapter he was preparing to talk Preston into it and was giving Mike advice on how to get him to eventually say yes so that sounds contradictory. Then you’ve got the fact that both times Mike went to Keith but never said a word to Preston directly which feels kind of weird but while we don’t know the exact details of the conversations we know that Derek has apparently talked to Preston about it as well. I’m kinda worried there may be some buried feelings between Matt & Keith that could make this messy if they do this and overall I just think it’ll unnecessarily complicate the friendship. Yes they are all gay and while they aren’t blind to how attractive the others are I just don’t see why they should complicate things by throwing sex into the mix just because they can. I just don’t know if their relationships are strong enough to handle watching the person they love have sex with someone else without it bothering them in the long run even if it’s a good friend. Preston and Keith already both have shown moments of insecurity so I’m just worried Preston especially will end up jealous or hurt as he seems the most insecure plus he knows the other three already have a sexual history though limited it may be.

We went from a skiing accident that resulted in what appeared to be a minor injury to severe pain possibly called by a range of things including cancer. Whenever life seems to be going well is when you can expect a major bump in the road. Hopefully it’s nothing too bad.

I was hoping this was a nightmare but for a second I thought it was 100% true until it was revealed to be sort of a dream within a dream. It’s terrible that Preston lost such a wonderful mother as well as his only family, not counting his excuse of a father, yet I’m happy he has Keith as well as Keith’s family to lean on in his time of crisis. Hopefully his father doesn’t show up out of the blue and start causing problems.

Jackson should have told Luke that his mom talked to him and indicated she knows about them. Maybe Jackson himself didn’t get the impression she knew but her wording made it sound obvious to me even if she didn’t say it flat out. Forewarned is forearmed so it just seems like some valuable information for him to know as his mom is going to try to seperate them even more going forward.

I was worried about them revealing there relationship because Ally might have made a scene causing Cindzilla to find out yet we learn she already knows. I wish he’d get up a team and they’d pelt her with paint after she told him to stay away from her son. She clearly needs a reality check and a heart transplant.

I’m not sure how much of his not going was peer pressure and how much of it was worry about how he’d act around Luke, though regardless he was aware he should have gone. Luke likely blamed himself and what happened for Jackson not showing up. In the end Jackson didn’t even have as much fun as he normally would have as he sat there regretting he didn’t go and knowing his parents would be upset. He was so close to freedom and now his parents have lost all trust in him again. While it was his choice I don’t think his friends are blameless either as they knew how much trouble he had been in as well as how limited his freedom was yet went to “kidnapp him” knowing it would just get him into more trouble. In the end he lost a lot more than he gained by sneaking off with them.

Jackson has got to be confused as he’s never shown any signs of any awareness of being bi or anything so this will be a shock to his system.

In the beginning Jackson comes off as a bit of a brat though no worse than any kid his age so his parents seemed a little too upset over it. If they had actually acted like typical kids growing up they wouldn’t have been as upset as they’d be able to relate to his actions but from what Jackson knows they likely were kind of boring growing up so they probably didn’t get into a lot of trouble not that they’d admit to it if they did. In this chapter the little agreement I had with the parent’s view on his behavior, as I’m not saying it’s good just typical of most kids, was erased by their hypocritical actions. I mean faking a Sunday meal, pretending to be more religious than they are, lying to Lucas by saying Jackson wasn’t grounded, etc...is just bad parenting. They’re simply putting on a front and in essence telling their son it’s ok to lie. The say the children of preachers go wild because their parents are often stricter than normal parents but his parents are driving him to the same thing. He supposedly has perfect grades, I assume is skilled in swimming, and yet all that along with being 18 they label him as an irresponsible child that they seem to be ashamed of. If they aren’t careful he’ll leave for college and never come back.

I was expecting an illegitimate child not a twin they tossed aside because she wasn't their idea of perfection simply because she was born deaf. The girl could potentially take over the business instead as she is their daughter by blood which would get him off the hook though she’d have no more love for dear old mom than he does considering she was abandoned by her so called parents so I doubt mom would want her taking over. These two are real pieces of work and deserve a good kick in the teeth. I hope they get everything they deserve.

So mom wants him to go to therapy so she won’t be embarrassed by how messed up he is? How embarrassing would it be if people found out she was having an affair with her therapist or the numerous affairs his dad has apparently had? Would the family be embarrassed if people learned how they twisted his grandmother’s accidental overdose to insure they would have lost if her planned will was followed? Sounds like he’s not the truly messed up one in that family. Also is she referring to his trauma of being mugged, the fact he is gay, or both when she refers to him as being messed up? If my family was that dysfunctional, which is putting it mildly, I’d run for it the moment I felt up to it.
