Ok, I can sort of see how some might think Alex is better for Robbie but I can’t get over his past actions. I know people can change yet Alex has been domineering, technically raped Robbie, held him prisoner if only for a short time, etc... Yes people change but Alex hasn’t become a better person overnight. That’s not saying I think Nathan is the ideal person for Robbie. It’s clear he’s hiding something specifically a past between him & Alex, I suspect he’s lied to Robbie about some things, and he currently seems to be testing Robbie possibly out of insecurity. Considering Robbie is currently sharing a house with Alex & Tom as he likely knows Alex isn’t exactly straight and he knows Robbie’s history with Tom I don’t blame him for feeling insecure. Considering Robbie has trouble resisting Alex and he kept the number of that guy I think Nathan should be concerned not that he knows about these things. Robbie seems to be having trouble resisting his basic urges if he couldn’t bring himself to throw away the phone number of a guy he didn’t even find attractive and rationalized away not telling Nathan about the guy asking him out. I see drama on the horizon.

The whole thing between Brandon and Stevie is a bit odd especially with Brandon initially hiding it not to mention the whole kissing thing which never seemed properly resolved to me in terms of an actual explanation so I get Billy being a little jealous. Actually sounded like the kiss may have happened as Brandon didn’t actually deny it though he did claim he was comforting an upset Stevie saying it was all innocent...but there was never any denial of the kiss itself just the fact he was accused of cheating. I feel for Stevie but the suspicion over the never explained away photo of them kissing has me apprehensive as that’s too much comfort to give to an ex boyfriend. As mentioned above it is kinda ironic how Sam seems to long for someone like Billy in terms of emotional bond but it’s not that surprising as Billy has his good traits. It’s great that they can remain friends after what happened as most friendships would be ruined by a period of physical intimacy. I’m not certain how Sam will react to the knowledge of what Brandon is up to on Mondays but I doubt he’ll be positive about it as he’ll be protective of his friend.

But he was too hot to handle. show he’s playing with fire and knows it. It’s only a matter of time before Robbie loses all sense of reason and let’s his hormones control him. I mean for goodness sake while people do change Alex did essentially rape him in the past so he should be a little more conscious of his hormones and not have sex with the guy simply because he can. Not to mention he has a boyfriend though I’m worried about upcoming drama on that front regardless of if he cheats. I guess Sue thinks Alex is too straight for anything to happen between them as it was kinda funny that in the past she set up the sleeping arrangements seemingly worried that he’d end up having sex with one of the other guys except his cousin/brother yet she let’s him bathe Alex as I’m sure she knows he is helping him with that.

🤣 I don’t know about withdrawal symptoms but when I get hooked on a good story I tend to binge. This definitely qualifies as a good story.

Due to how Don was being homophobic and just said it’s illegal without context I wondered if there were specific laws regarding same sex couples you may have been inferring to. I thought back to how in the distant past in the U.K. it was at one point outright illegal to be gay and while I knew that there wasn’t such a law in Canada today if ever it gave me the idea some strange laws for same sex couples could exist which is how I stumbled across that odd detail. True that those two only care about their own laws but with Don’s connections if it wouldn’t embarrass him I could see him getting Robbie arrested if he could as he’d use every tool in his arsenal including laws like this.

Hard to tell in this chapter but I hope Josh doesn’t keep thinking things should be so easily resolved between his mom & Devon. Honestly I don’t know if I could ever forgive her for not doing more if it were me and Josh just can’t comp what his brother was forced to go through because his mom didn’t try to protect him. I know in the end Devon probably will absolve his mom of all guilt and Josh will be happy though in reality that would likely never happen as you may forgive though you never forget.

Ok, I was worried about how attracted and a little obsessed Robbie was with Alex along with whatever secret Nathan is hiding...yet ugh I don’t like where this is headed now regarding Nathan’s actions. Nathan is admittedly abit showy and the flirting with other guys was something I didn’t like though combining that with his sudden desire to have sex with someone else besides Robbie worries me. Sure he said threesome but such things can strain a relationship not to mention if he’s horny enough he might decide to cheat. Now I’m imagining him trying to talk Robbie into a threesome with Tom or possibly a threesome with Alex as Alex definitely wouldn’t say no. This concerns me in regards to their relationship remaining intact and healthy.

I thought Tom was bi but maybe he’s gay. Either way he ain’t straight. I still don’t love Nathan’s flirting but if it doesn’t bother Robbie then all’s good.

Tom has a few surprises huh....I wonder if one is he’s realized he’s bisexual.

Heh verbal abuse right Nathan. I can’t believe Alex himself hasn’t spilled the beans to Robbie yet. On one positive note in suspicions are correct Nathan has no right to be angry when he finds out about Robbie & Alex.

I’m guessing Nathan was starting to say “If I had wanted to date a tough guy then I would have gone with…Alex” which is complex drama as it’s clear both boys need to come clean about some things.

I don’t like how Don is so relieved that Robbie is saying yes to the adoption. It may be because of his public image or it may be because it’ll give him more control over Robbie yet either way it’s clear that it isn’t because he actually wants Robbie as his son. I really think Robbie should think twice before going through with it and I’d love for him to tell the official how Don has been acting when he goes to court about the adoption.

Wow now I wish Robbie had shared a bed with Daniel in the hopes Don would have a heart attack. 😂

Robbie should have told Nathan about Alex but I’m curious about this bullying. Alex claimed Robbie was the first guy he’s ever been interested in having sex with but I wonder if something went on between him and Nathan. If Alex really wanted to experience sex with a guy an obvious choice would have been out & proud Nathan.

Sue is blind and a hypocrite. She keeps feeding him lines that mean nothing and I don’t like the emotional blackmail she used to insure that he’ll agree to the adoption. As things stand I’m still against the adoption as I wouldn’t want them for parents. Once again I’m also wondering if guardians have more limits when it comes to managing and accessing the money left to him by his mother because if being adopted gives Don more control over such things then I’d be definitely leaning towards no on the adoption front. I think at this point Sue is using Robbie’s injury as an excuse to limit his freedom so I wish he could talk to a doctor to confirm if they really feel he needs to be this confined, not be allowed to listen to loud music, etc...

You know I see why Daniel would think that Nathan was using him to get to Robbie as they had grown apart and seemingly weren’t hanging out as much until Robbie came along yet he’s not seeing the whole picture. When talking to Robbie Nathan admitted that his main reason for not coming around as much anymore was because of how homophobic Don was and how Don seemed to think he’d corrupt Daniel. In Nathan’s mind it would have gotten uncomfortable and tense for not just him but Daniel if he had come over too often due to how Don thought of him. Then some of the problem lies with Daniel as he not only has a homophobic dad but hangs around with Doug a lot who is clearly homophobic as well which makes Nathan uncomfortable. Nathan himself seemed to think Daniel pulled away from him to some extent as he told Robbie that Daniel started hanging out with his other friends more after he came out as gay. I think the both distanced themselves no matter the reason and that neither is solely responsible. Perhaps Nathan should have told Daniel about how his dad didn’t really want him around and how he felt if was best that he not hang around his house as often. He could have also told him what he told Robbie which is that he didn’t feel accepted by or included with Daniel’s other friends as that would have helped him to understand things from Nathan’s point of view before they became too estranged. Daniel could have also been more observant himself as he knew his dad was homophobic and he must know all those jokes Doug makes come off as homophobic as well so it’s no wonder Nathan doesn’t feel as comfortable hanging out with him sometimes.

Wow things keep getting crazier. I don’t know what’s going to happen next but this is one wild roller coaster ride.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Robbie shouldn’t sign those adoption forms. For one thing I don’t know how much control a guardian has vs a parent as I don’t want Don able to control Robbie’s money to the extent he can spend it or take it away. For another thing I don’t think he’s accepted into that family by everyone and will never be treated properly at this rate as while Nicola has warmed up to him Daniel may still be angry with him. Then you’ve got Don who thinks he’s either a confused straight guy or has some sort of gay disease that needs to be cured. Heh I’d totally try to ruins Don’s rep if I could by telling the papers why I ran away or just telling his rich friends that his nephew is gay as I’m sure those homophobes would love that. Of course I’m still on the fence about Sue as while she has stood up to Don there have also been moments where she seemed like a pushover. She’s definitely naive and blind.

Ugh Sue is naive if she thinks he’ll feel better after talking to Don and that Don had a magic change of heart. Despite Alex & Brad thinking it was a lot of money Don showed how much he valued Robbie when he offered a reward of only $2,000 and he’s still a homophobic prick. The fact Sue didn’t say he would be allowed to see Nathan if he returned home despite claiming it would be different says it all.

Well I’m shocked that Alex turned reasonable as his actions in the last chapter had me worried as locking someone up isn’t exactly normal. Jeez things were bad before but now we’ve got some nut with a gun. Could be Alex’s dad, could be Jake, could be a cop, etc... Consideing Robbie didn’t recognize him I’m doubting it’s the Alex’s dad or Jake though it could be a friend of Jake. I’m wondering who shoved Robbie down the stairs as I’m thinking Alex may know and this could be connected though I’m assuming whoever shoved him knows Jake even though he wasn’t the one directly behind it. It could be the cops but I dunno I have doubts.

Ok I see some positive comments about Alex despite how he’s acted and while I get he hasn’t had the best role models this twist doesn’t sit well with me. For one he locked Robbie up not long after finding out he has money and labeling him a rich kid so as far as we know he’s now after Robbie’s money. He also took Robbie’s phone and I don’t see how preventing from contacting anyone is protecting him as it’s not like he was going to call Jake. I fear what’s going to happen next as Alex is totally unpredictable. Honestly unless Alex is say mentally unstable in terms of why he deems this an appropriate way to protect someone and lets Robbie go after a few hours deeming it safe I see either extortion or rape in the future. In the next chapter you say Don will offer a reward so Alex may go after that or demand a ransom.

Robbie did drugs again like I expected but at least it wasn’t anything bad per say except not having smoked weed before I never knew you could suffer memory loss or blackouts. I don’t like the fact he can’t recall going to bed or what happened that night after a certain point though I doubt anything happened. Sounds like Alex isn’t as good at hiding his sexuality as he thinks because I seriously doubt he told his girlfriend he’s attracted to guys plus clearly she knows that he’s cheated on her as well considering how long they’ve been dating yet doesn’t seem surprised. Considering his past time with Alex Robbie should get tested for STDs.

A nice coincidence that he ran into a gay social worker. Glad the guy was able to talk sense into him and give him some good advice. Ugh I agree with a comment about how Alex is his best bet for not being found by Don...but it’s his best bet to become hooked on drugs as well as in his current mood he could easily be talked into using again, though this time it will probably be something a bit more addictive.

Daniel irritates me because I understand his argument and yet I don’t. I get that he had no choice in having to share his room but that’s not Robbie’s fault. I do understand that Robbie has gotten away with a lot of things but his sexual orientation isn’t remotely related. I mean he’s actually sounding like his dad as if they’re letting him be gay like it’s a choice Robbie made. I would say I’m surprised at Don’s reaction but I’m not. I fully expected him to go ballistic and I’m not even surprised that Robbie ran away as Don’s reaction combined with the fact Daniel isn’t exactly happy with him right now would make me feel very unwelcome in that house. Don is acting like Robbie chose to be gay to spite him and that it’s some form of rebellion meant to ruin Don’s life. In the end many people in this family can come off as self centered such as how Don’s “friends” have repeatedly been mentioned as wanting to meet Robbie making me wonder if Don is using that exaggerated sob story he’s been telling as some means of networking. I’ve also had this paranoid thought that Robbie needs to be carful that Don doesn’t get access to anything monetary his mother left him as it might not be there when he becomes old enough to access it. Everyone keeps bringing up sex between them being illegal but assuming it’s the same as in the U.S. while they are still underage normally if you’re the same age you won’t be arrested for consensual sex. The legal age in Canada is 16 for straight people(or vaginal sex & I suppose oral sex) and shockingly anal sex is supposedly not legal until age 18 which is obviously unfair. I had to do some research to find that out and found the following though not certain if it can relate to those couples performing anal sex: A 14 or 15 year old can consent to sexual activity as long as the partner is less than five years older and there is no relationship of trust, authority or dependency or any other exploitation of the young person.

Daniel is angry yet not surprised which is the expected reaction so nothing shocking except the way he finally heard it from Robbie’s mouth. Talking privately would have been better but it was already out in the open so he didn’t really have an option for a private chat. I think Daniel will get over it but it’ll take time. I hope he doesn’t complain to Doug as he’s not the best person to talk to about his cousin/brother dating his childhood friend. Honestly, I don’t see what makes that guy a good friend but we don’t really know much about him except how he reacts around Robbie & Nathan which is often loud, irritating, and homophobic. I think the issues are that Nathan is Daniel’s friend who he already isn’t as close to anymore so he likely sees this as pulling them further apart and the fact Robbie was keeping it a secret surely bothers him. Also thinking back while Robbie thinks the idea that Daniel looks up to him is silly Daniel did seem in awe of his skills in attracting girls so he’s possibly feeling a little confused about all of this as he likely idolizes Robbie a bit.
