Surely Elijah will realize Kage is taking too long and will come to the rescue. Shifters are able to heal themselves, so Kage has that in his favor. The part that scares me is that clearly the knife was laced….but with what? That could be a problem… Elijah just lost both his parents. Losing Kage would be mean. Even for @kbois

When shapeshifters touch, it forces them out of shift, which is what happened to Kage and Elijah and why they had to be careful not to touch when they were in shift.

I just want to say that when I post early in the AM, Kbois is three hours ahead so it's easy for her to be the first to comment, but when she posts, I have to wake up at zero dark thirty. Loved this chapter. My heart was RACING when Elijah was in the meeting. I kept expected Huntington to know why he was there. I hope the boys enjoy their trip and I hope they resolve whatever it is that's pushing them apart. They have such natural chemistry and a really great ying and yang.

Kage really let it out. It must feel foreign to want something you’ve never had. I’m proud of him for even thinking about it. It’s the only shot those two have but I think Kage will be a big hurdle. He has a lot of emotional baggage. I’m going to say it. I’m nervous for Elijah to go to San Fran. I don’t like it. Kage’s world is rough. I would HATE for something to happen to him while there. I may never come back from it.

Okay, woah there. It’s not like I’m sitting on my thumbs or anything. Just knocked out a couple chapters of the JL super Ep and 20k word anthology on top of reviewing your stuff. Now I’m back to JL. besides. I don’t need readers to take entire days off to read my stuff. A write-up by their boss because they’re late for work is suffice.

Loved this chapter. We’ve gotten to know the MC’s but now we’re learning more details from behind the scene. The build up begins. Love it. The ending was pretty ominous though…
