  1. It ebbs and flows. I wouldn't call it "unhealthy". Okay, maybe a little unhealthy.

    Chapter 2

Yes, because I'm on pacific time and have to get ready for work while everyone else is having a grand time in the comments

    Chapter 2

Let the record reflect that it's not my problem everyone lives in different times zones. Who's idea was that anyway?

    Chapter 2

I would like the record to reflect that I always posted before 6:30 AM

  8. You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit lol
  9. This was a really great story! It has everything you want in a thriller. Nothing is given away too easily, it's well paced, lots of twists, with a perfectly satisfying end. A definite read.

    Chapter 21

Good. I agree it wouldn't be ideal

    Chapter 22

Much deserved promotion. I think it's funny that as Shea gets promoted, Cyn is more terrified, while Shea's feelings grow more intense. The irony. I love it. It makes sense. Still funny!

    Chapter 21

This is exactly what an author would say when throwing readers off his scent…

    Chapter 20

But we have to wait for Cyn’s reaction!

    Chapter 18

    Please have Cyn flirt. Please.

    Chapter 18

Yessss. Be jealous wolves, the deer is taller. I suppose it's different when you're hunting them and you feel superior as a species, but now they're just counterparts. It must drive them crazy to be inferior in size. I love it. Me thinks Cyn is maybe showing off a little for shea...I hope he struts his little deer behind. He probably wont because he doesn't even know what it means to flirt...but maybe it comes instinctually.

    Chapter 17

Hey, it doesn’t matter what makes him brave. I actually think that his attachment to Shea, and how it’s pushing him outside his bounds, is adorable. now I’m really stressed…

    Chapter 17

I thought this chapter was very sweet. Cyn is so very brave! We’re expecting Cyn to forget YEARS (decades? I don’t know how old he is) of biological training in a matter of hours, days. That’s no easy feat. He has spent his entire life being hunted by wolves and watching his herd be killed. I know he’s going to go with Shea, I’m sure it will do fine, but I am STRESSED about it lol. I think it’s pretty damn sweet that Alpha is going. True leadership right there.
  18. No kidding. Luckily I do have the story in my head! I actually have had it for a while, I just didn’t think I would write it. Now I have the first chapter finished. It really shouldn’t take too long, it’s all there, in my head!
  19. Mrsgnomie

    Chapter 16

I didn’t think Cyn would ask to go but now that he has, I’m very curious how it will go. He’s timid n many ways but his whole life has been spent in the woods. He actually has a bit of confidence out there. He knows he’s fast and he has a strong nose. He could definitely be an asset. I don’t think they would, but they *could* use Cyn as bait…

    Chapter 15

Why would you do something like that? I thought you were of sound character?
  21. Mrsgnomie

    Chapter 15

It’s getting interesting. I can’t wait to see who the alpha has in mind. I’m drawing a blank. Maybe someone who doesn’t want the job? Their residence would be fun to watch. Eeek.

    Chapter 14

Mine, also. I love when a story makes us question our logic and reasoning. It always makes me laugh
  23. Mrsgnomie

    Chapter 14

I really like how Cyn has the rationale of a wild animal. He doesn’t reason like humans do, it’s not how he was raised. I think Shea has an uphill battle when it comes to convincing Cyn of his value.
  24. This article is spot on. I don’t do a lot of thing well as a writer, but I work hard to do this. A mediocre story can be great if you get your readers invested in the characters lol
