  4. Unfortunately the sequel How The Light Gets In is incomplete and has been on long term hold for some time now. A number of readers have commented on positively on the story as it stands, some stating that even incomplete it is still a very good story and worthy of reading. I've left my own comment in the story comments and hope that others will do so. I'd love to see this story come to a natural conclusion, it's too good not to be completed. If it's not possible for @Duncan Ryder to complete the story is there anyway that one of our more accomplished authors could do this? It would need to be an author of high standards as it would need to be someone who would compliment the original authors style and not detract from it.

    Chapter 13

Can Matt and Luc, two 'damaged' young men, be the help and support for each other that they both need?

    Chapter 12

Scott is in an unenviable position, he's doing his best to be sympathetic to Josh's needs while trying to find the right balance of friendship with Luc so that he doesn't give him false hope, and that is only part of it. I hope Scott is successful as there is tension building and it needs releasing.

    Chapter 10

The prequel to this story is Everybody's Wounded, well everybody is still wounded, it's just that some are healing better than others.

    Chapter 9

Every chapter has been great and this one is no exception. It captures the dynamics of a couple in love even though one still has a few demons to exorcise, and the two souls who each still hoping against hope that can re-kindle something of the past and develop the once hoped for relationships. All of this could result in disaster but I'm hoping it doesn't.

    Chapter 8

Another beautifully written chapter. The flashbacks give a better insight into who Luc is and who Daniel was, if only Daniel had had a good father things would have turned out so much better.

    Chapter 7

I love the insights into a characters past, it draws you closer to them. I'm concerned for Luc as he still holds a candle for Scott, this could be his undoing if he doesn't let go.

    Chapter 6

The story is developing well, but I'm sensing a calm before the storm. Matt meeting Josh again could be explosive, and I think Stevie is going to be trouble.

    Chapter 5

It's obvious that there is more healing needed for more than Luc, Matt needs to heal a lot too and I think that Josh and Scott still have some issues to sort out. may the healing continue for all.

    Chapter 4

There is a lot of fear, guilt and shame expressed in this chapter, I hope that the love that is also expressed is the dominating feeling that continues in the story.

    Chapter 3

I like the way this is developing, but at the same time I'm cautiously hopeful 🤞

    Chapter 2

You and me both, I really hope it works out 🤞
  21. For those that are interested the sequel is How The Light Gets In, after reading the first chapter it looks to be as captivating as Everybody's Wounded. Can I suggest you give this a read after reading the first story?

    Chapter 1

With an opening chapter like this I'm looking forward to rest of this story. It looks as promising as the prequel.
