I hear you, Fae. I got to work, sat down, and ripped the crotch of my pants open. So ... you know, that's a good start to the day.
-
Where else could you see an incubus hanging out with an angel? Sigil is a wild place. Possibilities are endless there. And if you get tired of the City of Doors ... well, pass through the right (or wrong) doorway, and you're on a different world, in a different universe. But, back to this game - I do just want to play it! Larian makes great, strategic games ... and with the D&D ruleset, they're going to do interesting things.

@droughtquake, Thorn isn't Beetlejuice. Writing his name repeatedly won't make him appear. 😛

"Trekking a house over through the snow..." is how I intended to write it. "... enjoying one another" is how I intended to write it as well. "Company" is implied when I read that line, but maybe that's lost in translation. Your comment concerning the sleeve sounds like a personal preference. I'm trying to cut words when I can. 😉 And cum is how some authors spell it, however come is also correct. And I'll take biscuits however I can get them. 😄 I'm far from perfect, but in these cases I prefer how I've handled the aforementioned items. Thanks for reading, and for the comments.

Yeah! I had no idea it'd take as much as it has. We'll likely have a bit more to do as well, but I think the majority is handled now. I think we've both learned a lot we didn't plan on learning ... and that's cool. 🙂

Well, I'm sure @Thorn Wildewould love editing ~8,500 words a day for the next week. 😉

The new story is called Wild Maple Farm. It's just the post that's titled "Under Construction." Oh ... and thanks for the interest in the story. 🙂

If I'm remembering right, Greater Restoration costs a bunch just in material costs (like, a big diamond?). And from all appearances we're starting at first level. So ... that may be an issue. A Full Heal may work ... but we'll have to find a Cleric capable of casting it. In other words, it won't be easy to get cured. Which, is probably the whole point. 😄 If we go to space then I wanna end up in Sigil too! We might as well explore all of the "other" settings if we're dabbling with Spelljamming. You gotta love the Lady of Pain ... an entity powerful enough to reduce a Greater Deity to a catatonic state with a flick of her wrist.

Yeah. One definitely has to wonder. At least two of the infected characters on the ship are recruitable party members ... and that makes me wonder if there's a connection between those in your party to the woman on the ship. We're writers ... it's in our blood to look for plot twists, and that could lead to quite a few.

Thanks for the comment, Philippe! Mother's time is coming, have no doubt. 😉 And I don't know if the welder will be capable of saving anyone from her! 😄
-
All this is just making me want to show off that character even more.
-
Thanks, Tom! And holding off on MIG therapy sounds like a good call! 😮

We're still working on our project. We've begun chapter five, and every chapter reinforces that this tale is so vastly different from Trainwreck. At one point in our planning, tim said "i want to read this! i want it done, so i can read it!" I completely understand that sentiment. I didn't understand that I needed to read this story until we started writing it. I think that means we're on to something wonderful. So far, it has certainly been wonderful to write.

author interview Ask an Author 2.0 #29
Wayne Gray commented on Carlos Hazday's blog entry in Gay Authors News
It was an interesting question, and one that made me think. For me it also loops back to the very motivation for writing as well. It's great to see the variety in the responses. It's the spice of life.- 16 comments

Good. You're set. Something I had forgotten to do was stock up on cat litter/food. So that's next on the list for us.
-
It's great to plan. That's a lot different from panic, and it will pay off. Nice work, rick.

Kevin and I have watched it a few times now. Larian will do a great job. And it's supposed to be out by Christmas! We'll see if that happens, but I'm hopeful. It's also turn-based. I love how Larian does turn-based games, and the gameplay they showed off looks sweeeeet.

Sleep is huge. It's the only time our bodies recharge, and replenish so many necessary enzymes and substances vital for our health. A lot of those things are involved directly in our immune responses too. Sorry ... you already know it's important. I'll stop. Great work on preparing. Something to also consider is peanut butter. It won't ruin, it's super calorie-dense, and it's freaking peanut butter. That really should be all the reason you need to add it to your "disaster kit." Thanks for the comment. 😄

writing Danger: Inclusive Messaging Ahead
Wayne Gray commented on Thorn Wilde's blog entry in The Fantastic Mr. Wilde
Yeah, I get the "weaponizing" comment. I feel the same way about a lot of things that should be good and add to our lives, but are instead used as excuses to hate others (including people like me). I think you'd find a tidal wave of support if what happened to you before was even hinted at here. It wouldn't stand. I hope you feel better soon. I know what it's like to be pressed down on the bottom, crushed by everything. Thorn's right ... we could have done better. Sorry to be a part of that. -
You're welcome, molly. you did wonderfully by asking for clarity. That is great advice. Our bodies will fight off the world if we give them the tools to do so. Now, the trick ... follow that advice, in particular about the rest. By now, I know something about you. Get your sleep, molly!
-
Yeah, that’s sensible. I would have done the same.
-
You’re welcome. It’d be amazing if folks go to the experts for their information when they have questions.
-
It’s a really fine line to be ahead of an issue and not cause panic. Make suggestions to your local health care provider office. Let them know how you felt seeing their response. Right now the biggest danger is panic. If you believe health centers could be causing that, they need to know.
-
You're welcome. All of that is sensible. You guys are prepared. Nice job! 🙂

FYI our local public health medical director is saying 12-18 months from a working vaccine. She went on to say the information circulating from non-medical circles is wildly optimistic.
