Well this was a different ending than I was expecting. Perhaps Ali's father found the letter in the shed and got his son to ruin the other poor boys life. Intriguing story Ethan.

I don't believe Cameron recognises James from all those years back. Clearly Jamie confided in him at school when Alistair probably gave James reason to think he was gay. Most likely they were caught kissing by the group and Alistair blamed James for foisting himself on him. An act that made James's life a living hell from bullying and worst still from the treacherous "friend" who continued to betray him. A really interesting question, is whether there is anything that Cameron can possibly do, to earn to James's forgiveness, once he finds out. Of course, karma would suggest that James could out Cameron now but I doubt that's James's style.

Just don't end with it being a case of mistaken identity. After all, James is up for a bad guy tonight. The main question I have, is whether Cameron recognises James from their past and is he bad enough to want to repeat whatever misdeed, he did? Desperately needing a clue, now.

It has to be a long time ago since these two met, otherwise they'd definitely have recognised eachother. High school or soon after, may be? I'm guessing that younger Jamie had a crush on Cameron who then outed him to the school, after Jamie had made a play for him. Clearly, James still carries a flame for the old Cameron, as he keeps seeing his face, as he once remembered it. And Cameron too clearly still has a thing for James. But if their final meeting was much worse than that then things will get very interesting indeed for the G&T kid and his nemesis.

Surely not another Sebastian? I still haven't got over my dislike of the original one from Noah and Jordan. And to introduce him as a fuck buddy; well that's priceless. Just how bad can this Cameron be and is he still as big a douche? A fantastic hook to what I'm sure will be another great story Ethan.

One of my favourite Comsie stories. Kevin has an integrity and a romantic streak that his friends find ridiculous. What good can come from holding out, for your dreams when those around you, seem to have found the fast track to fun times? Kevin gets to know one of his friend's cast offs and discovers something incredible, that they missed.

I didn't realise that you wrote poetry Marty and good poetry at that. This piece from your twenties is strikingly pertinent to our current world situation. The threat seems even greater nowadays, as the despots that share this MADness, toy with annihilation, convinced it's a battle they can win. Thank you for sharing.

Well, if you had really wanted it to be, that could have been a great ending to the story. Kevin got to be himself and that Timberlake song became such a precious moment between them. Rory's crying with laughter is a gift that can't be faked and it seems that Kevin now realises that he is capable of delivering what Rory needs. No longer beauty and the beast but a partnership of equal joy. Thank you for sharing.

And finally, an interesting turn of events. They say beauty is only skin deep. But more importantly, real beauty is found far deeper than that. So pleasing to see Kyle have this epiphany with his first true personal friend: Gabe. I also wonder if Jason will follow suit. It certainly appears to be heading that way. Maybe Kyle, Jason and Kevin will stick together as friends and share the same romantic outlook.

Oh wow, I think I've just read my favourite piece of Comsie writing ever. That whispered fantasy, in the situation that it was delivered, surpassed many an actual physical sex scene, depicted in many other stories. It all goes to prove, that you don't have to rush into physical sex, to enjoy a sensuous relationship. A point thats all too rarely made on this site but one that young minds need to hear. In answer to some of the earlier critics, you demonstrate a wide versatility in approach for your characters. Metaphorically speaking, I am blown away by everything that this chapter had to offer. One for the bookmarks, definitely.

Surely we've seen Kevin being misled by his two moronic friends for the last time. I guess to less mature minds everything Kyle and Jason advised, seemed quite plausible. When you realise that a person or two around you, is seriously at odds with your most valued principles in life, then it's probably time to consider putting some distance between them or, at the very least, their views. I really hope Kevin and Rory can now enjoy a chapter where they both get to be their true selves. Having a comfy pair of slippers can be enjoyable too 😘

It's frustrating that Kevin has held the courage of his convictions against these two, all this time. And just as Rory restores Kevins' faith in the possibility of true friendship and maybe even love, Kevin loses faith in what he believes in and now becomes dependent on Kyle and Jason for affirmation, where he never valued it before. Kevin needs to ignore those two for a while and communicate more with Rory. Think about it. Who knows what Rory needs best? Rory or Kyle and Jason. It's a no brainer Kevin.

Is that a crack appearing in the fabric of Jason's modus operandi? His interest in Robin obviously went beyond the mere conquest of a ten rated looker. And now, Kevin, not Kyle, is becoming the role model that Jason would rather follow. Kyle sees it, and maybe he's about to lose his Acolyte. Thankfully, Kevin just recovered his ability to communicate with Rory, before any dark thoughts were allowed to fester into cavernous uncertainties and swallow up up their fragile relationship.

It's awkward seeing yourself as the ugly duckling in the relationship. I've never had the misfortune to experience that. I've always avoided dating anyone that good looking 😉. No wonder Kevin's so mixed up. Kevin may be a virgin but Kyle and Jason are both virgins too when it comes to true boyfriend experiences. Best advice that Kevin could receive right now is have a true heart to heart with Rory and explain his main concerns. That he cant be himself because he is scared that Rory might walk away on either extreme: if he doesn't get more physical or alternately, if he gets too physical. Just put that stuff out there Kevin and let Rory take care of the rest.

I thought that front picture was Rory based on the description. So, if it's not Kevin, I wonder what Kevin looks like. I suspect that he's pretty good looking himself, if Kyle and Jason are offering to share their best dates with him. So, high hopes that this could turn out to be the perfect match in terms of both appearances and personalities.

Great premise for a story. One that's all too rarely found. Looking forward to how things progress for Kevin and Rory. I'm sure Kyle won't mind giving up a mere six or seven for his buddy. 😉

Jeremy was clearly Alex's real motivation for going to counselling at the drop of a pin. Anything Alex can do to make himself a viable long term prosect for Jeremy, is essential, in his eyes. Having both set of parents being fully supportive of their sons, is a definite boone. I'm also confident that Alex's parent's see Jeremy as having an amazingly positive influence on their son, and are more than happy to help Jeremy out, in whatever way they can. Being eligible for session based help is a massive lift for Alex and is indicative of the progress he has made, acknowledging and fighting off his addiction. Just one more chapter to go. Must be a biggie!

Now that's progress. Two great outcomes with X coming clean to Jer and accepting counselling just like that. Also, Zara' s sincere apology to her son. I think Jeremy is being a hard ass and a bit tough on Zara here. He needs to be more undesrstanding of the shocking way in which she was told and that's down to him, keeping it hidden all those years. There I've said it: Jeremy is not perfect! Go deal with it. 😉 -
Close call. Lucky Liz was passing by to prevent Alex relying on gambling to solve life's hardest problems. Alex really needs professional counselling, badly. His gambling demon remains ensconced on his shoulder. He also needs to start being truthful to those closest to him, and that means Jeremy and his parents. Together they can help him long term. Zara appears to have come back to apologise. Brandon gave her a totally unexpected shock and all she needed was a little time to deal with it. All respect to Zara. I don't see how the insurance wouldn't cover the cost of the damage and promptly too. Of course, they could never accept anything off Brandon as they would be uncertain of any strings being attached. Looking forward to more.

The logistics of repairing and getting the bakery open in 48 hours has been well covered by other readers. It was a obvious mistake to leave Trisha single handedly in charge of both baking in the kitchen and in charge of sales and serving a dozen people in the shop. Thats a two man job. Ar we are about to see how resourceful Jeremy is, or is Alex going to gamble to save his friends business?
