I find it interesting Kage was listening to Elijah and Tyler talk about Elijah's parents the previous night also in the last chapter he listened patiently while Elijah raved about Tyler and his music .I think that's because Kage never got the chance to have a best friend growing up in addition to not having a Mother.Elijah is good for Kage in ways he never imagined. Kage would have been on my shit list if he took away my Marie Calendars from me but he redeemed himself with all that great stuff he bought and of course the cookies and cream ice cream . All that healthy eating would make me have withdrawn pains.Oh Kage did overlook one thing no Habernero whiskey

First the positive stuff Latasha comment to Myles "What did you do buy a new purse?" had me cracking up.I also liked how Myles reacted to Natalie.And I was relieved Natalie brought some friends from from Somerset with her.Maybe just maybe the decent students outnumber the ignorant morons I'm pretty sure they did all along but it was hard to tell for awhile. Now the negative stuff .The police showed their clear bias when they faced the Rosemont protesters and had their backs toward the counter protesters they should have been standing sideways or have a few facing the other way just to have appearance that they were neutral but then theirs actions after the incident left no doubt . Mr Abrams must have read @drsawzall previous comment about having record things from a nearby building the police should have been smart enough to consider that. If Pastor Moore and the the other groups armed with the video are successful in getting Sheriff Moore to resign then Nettlman better watch his step also on how he handles things .He's suppose to talk to students that were involved in the basketball incident if he act toward them like the police acted toward the counter protesters and gives them a slap on the wrist after suspending Parker then he'll be inviting a shit storm on himself also

@SummerabbacatI don't disagree with anything you wrote I'm leaning toward you being right.The one possibility still open is the cousins acted on their own without Clyde's knowledge,There is a period of transition and perhaps Clyde might be considered a weak leader they can argue that Leander was going to leave the family and they can't let that happen etc.Having said that I don't that think that's the case but I only bring it up because I always try to be ready for a curve to be thrown by this author sort of like in this chapter for example

OMG a rolled up carpet?I hope I'm wrong but it sounds like they attempted to kill Leander.If that is the case then I'm hoping Luke follows them and wherever they dump the carpet(I'm assuming that is what they are going to do) Luke investigates it and finds Leander alive.At the very least they are taking Leander somewhere to do God knows what. Also it's safe to say now they probably killed Ben

This chapter was educational as well as entertaining. I wouldn't know this or sure one way or another but I bet its unusual for there to be apartments above a galleria.I assume since one hasn't been mentioned there is no elevator since would be Armand is updating would he also be required to install one?

I left a tear on that comment not so much for Henry but for the situation you described and what happens to people . Will Alec and Finn share the same house or at first live in separate places.Either way it looks like Henry will be in the picture

I wasn't sure what kind of a reaction to put on this chapter I put but I came close to leaving a tear.I'm not surprised by any of the emotions Alec had that day thank God for Finn.One thought that should be mentioned to Alec in some way about the dysfunctional relationship he had with his Mother very little if any at all was his fault what Alec has been able to achieve most parents would be proud of.I hope Henry finds a way to say that to him.BTW is it too late for Henry to build a life? I get Luke's position about not wanting to see Bear (or should I say Leander since everybody seems to be ticked at him now?) but if it me I would be curious though what Leander wanted to say so as long as Luke goes there without any expectations I think he should do it because he'll always wonder what Leander wanted to say if he doesn't besides it may be a chance to ask about Ben. BTW will Luke tell his Dad the details about what happened with Ben? I don't know what the law is in Britain but Luke being 18 should the doctor have spoke to Len about Luke?At any rate Luke is going back home so that means more Luke/Elaine drama.Will Luke apologize to Elaine's son?After all Luke did get the stalker thing thing wrong

I agree with @chris191070it looks like adopting Thomas woul be a natural thing to do . The one thing I'm surprised Armand hasn't asked Thomas is why was he hanging around the gallery that is an unusual place for most kids to hang out at . If Thomas has an interest in painting the he would be perfect for Armand and Colin

I could see where having Kage around literally 24/7 can at times be exasperating but it is also the the most likely most safe route Elijah can take.I believe he also chose this route because the place is his home and Tyler really does mean that much to him. I still hope we see 'The overgrown pups" as Kage calls them in the story. When Kage said "you can bet your ass Satan himself created those creatures,” I can relate right now I'm feeding a stray and I think it really believes that every time it continually meows I come with food how annoying.
