Beautiful lovemaking! Glad to know there is a sequel. I don't want to leave these wonderful guys.

Hallelujah! Our boys are still going to have away to go, but they finally got things out in the open and they don't have to be afraid of each other any more! They have so much ahead of them. Lots of work and lots of love. Great reading!

Thoroughly enjoying this story, but if our two heroes don't clue up soon, I'm gonna give them both a good shaking!

Chapter 15: Shore's Showdown
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 15: Shore's Showdown
It all keeps getting better and better. The challenges were very well written. I could see it all so vividly. I also loved Vincent's stern side. He is so giving and trusting to people, I've worried about him being too open and almost naive. But cross or insult him or anyone he cares about, and it will take real effort to get in his good graces again. I hope Andre can truly amend his ways. And now for Wagner. Hope he can discover "the smoking gun" in time. It seems that he is being observed and hopefully things will not turn out the way they did for the detective.- 31 comments

So, in his own way, Jack is looking out for Terry and Dan. But why are ghosts always so short on information? It does still leave almost everyone as suspect. Glad things are staying so cozy between Terry and Dan. I also have a hunch that it isn't Trevor and Jenny involved at all. It's almost to strong and obvious a conclusion. I fancy the real guilty party is lurking in the shadows. But what do I know? I'm just loving the ride.

I was surprised the meeting was so short. I had expected it to be quite a bit longer. But then, I suppose it was just intended that Tyler and Eric each have their say and let things settle in for a bit. Not sure if this was enough to really punch through Tyler's veneer, but only time will tell.

Thoroughly enjoying this story. Thank you for the journey.

Chapter 13: Vexatious Victory
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 13: Vexatious Victory
I loved the battle. I do wish I had reread the previous chapter again just before reading this one. Since it has been several days between chapters, I'd had enough time to get fuzzy about who was who, so I was a bit confused until my memory sorted everyone out. That was probably the only difficulty I had. It was great to see Kaplan's aggressive side. I knew that as a lycan, it had to be there, but I think he may have surprised even himself. And then the beautiful scene between Kaplan and Cyrus. Very hot! -

A lot of tidbits here, but the last - WTH! My brain is spinning. -
Chapter 29: Inconsolable Inferno
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 29: Inconsolable Inferno
I'm glad I came a bit late to this party and that the next story is already being released. You're good at the cliffhangers. Since I tend to read every day, I'll soon be joining all your tortured readers who have to wait a week at a time for each new chapter. Thanks for the exquisite agony. -
Chapter 28: Memorable Morning
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 28: Memorable Morning
I know that someone else had guessed that Kaplan was going to bring Cy's parents to the ceremony. And I thought "Nah", but it was perfectly done. The past couple of chapters have been so full of joy and happiness. I'm tempted to give my reading a rest so as not to spoil the afterglow. But you have me so mesmerized that I'll probably dive right into the next chapter. Thank for such a terrific story. -
Chapter 26: Discordant Dinner
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 26: Discordant Dinner
This answered many of the questions I had when we first heard about Cyrus' Turning Day. I certainly never guessed what the real answers were. I also find it curious that Cyrus' family is from Africa, not China, where pandas are native. Perhaps there is more of a story there. Cyrus' story certainly accounts for much of his burden and behavior. There will be much for Kaplan to heal, but he is definitely on the right path. Kaplan and Cyrus' love making was so beautifully written. They are so in love with each other, and they seem to understand how lucky they are. They also are so dedicated to making things work, and are smart enough to put in the work that it will take. Some new dynamics are showing up, both in familiar people and in people we've just been introduced to. I'd anxious to see where you are going to go with them. Especially Remis. I have a feeling that there is a lot more to him than we know. -
Chapter 22: Irishman Incoming

Been racing through the chapters without commenting because I can't wait to get to the next one. They're brilliant. You know that. Now let me get to the next chapter. -
Chapter 14: Psychological Struggle
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 14: Psychological Struggle
There had been concern that Vincent wouldn't be able to control his hybrid, and here it was his wolf who took over on him. Will that be an ongoing struggle? Is it a perpetual struggle with shifters? There seems to be a lot that Vincent is going to need to learn. He's learned so much so fast, especially about his powers, but he still has a way to go when it comes to his new body, and his wolf. And we certainly saw the end of Alpha Griffith and his gang much sooner than any of us expected. I guess there will be bigger fish to fry coming up. (Yeah, like Stefan and his toy, Shaw.) And Stacy, she's seems to be taking it all in reasonably well. She hasn't been told everything yet, but she 's accepting it in small pieces. Something tells me, she's going to be another strong one. -
Chapter 11: Beginning Brawl
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 11: Beginning Brawl
Brilliant! In my mind, I kept going back and forth between the actual storytelling and the technique of your writing. The whole structure and shape of the sparring match was so thoroughly laid out and so vivid. I could see all of it. Well focused! Tierney's advise to Mace was very important. If Mace and Vincent have to fight together, they will have to act as a united force and mason can't get distracted by his protective instincts. Trust Vincent's abilities, as new as they are. All the guys are going to be a united force to be reckoned with. And then there's Wagner. I don't think a bully changes his ways in an instant. He merely find a different target. I think he's still gonna need a smack-down before things are over. -
Chapter 9: Seraphic Stunt
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 9: Seraphic Stunt
Cyrus and Kaplan's lovemaking is beautifully erotic. Taking things slowly makes it even more intense. I had to laugh out loud at the previous comments about Vincent's current possession. My mind was going to the same place. Remembering Sigorney Weaver in Ghostbusters, "I want you in me," and Bill Murray responding, "I think there are a few too many in there already!" And Wagner's gonna get an ass-whipping. Bullies being taken down makes me happy. (Yes, it's petty of me, but there it is.) -
Chapter 13: Drinks and Nerves

Oh Alec, Alec, Alec. Yeah, River is right, you need to find your backbone. Finn is owed so much more. I hope he is happy. He deserves it. Alec needs to get a grip.- 29 comments

Chapter 8: Inquisitive Individual
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 8: Inquisitive Individual
Unlike @kfm61, I like Alpha Drego. Maybe I'm not being a good judge of character here, and Vincent can be a little over trusting. It's fun to see the way Vincent keeps Mason a little off balance. Mace has always been so strong and sure of things, but his little mage keeps surprising him. It's been great to see the ways Vincent throws him off of his routine. They are brilliant together. Then there is Wagner. Pffft! Easy enough to just knock him off as another fat-head bully. Even if he does joint with the bully Alpha and his three good-ole-boys, it seems like they just don't have the smarts to go up against such powerful folks as they rest of the characters, but I think you've given us the set up of who their first target might be. Dave might have to fill Stacy in on things sooner than he had planned. -
Yeah, I remember that phase too. I felt like I was sending Morse code. My husband may not be quite as befuddled with his cell phone as Eric, but matches the sentiment completely. The whole scene made me smile. Some people just aren't made to adapt to technology. I do hope that Eric does go through with the meeting with the young man. I have a feeling that it could be a little break-through for both of them. Also glad that Eric and Rob are back on speaking terms again. There is at least bit of a friendship that will do them both good. Still loving your story telling. Thank you.

Chapter 5: Cyrus' Scourging
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 5: Cyrus' Scourging
Beyond the emotional content in this chapter, the way you have written it is brilliant. You've taken such care in putting in such fine details of each emotional unfolding. The right sentiment, the right comment at precisely the right time. (Much better than I am doing in describing it.) I guess what I'm really trying to say is, not only have you given us masterful storytelling, but technically have presented it with much care. (I'll stop blathering now.) Just thank you. -
Chapter 26: Godly Guidance

It's interesting looking back on these comments from the perspective of where I am now in the story. That's the beauty of your writing. It send your readers' minds spinning. -
Chapter 3: Desperate Detective
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 3: Desperate Detective
Well, we knew Stefan would show up sooner than later. And Shaw has no clue how in over his head he is. I sense that it's going to go badly for him. Meanwhile, Vincent is learning at an incredible rate. As he learns to put all the pieces of his education together, I'm sure he'll be even more powerful. He'll need to be with all that has been set up to come his way. And Cyrus and Kaplan are getting all cuddly. That is just beautiful. I love the way a top attorney turns into goo with his new romance. the blossoming of this relationship is wonderful. Looking forward to more, sir. -
Chapter 1: Faithful Friends

As is you affinity, you have given us a wonderful beginning to the adventures of these characters, our friends, and you have done it wrapped in your special ability of of showing us the warmth and affection between these people. Suspense and warm fuzzies all at the same time. Love your writing! -
Chapter 33: Concluding Challenge
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 33: Concluding Challenge
Superb! What a great cast of characters you've lined up, (although I'm still not sure how I feel about Yakob. Vincent seemed to trust him right away, but Vinnie isn't always the best judge of people with malicious intents.) What a great series of events have been put into play. I'm ready to start the next book and see what else you have planned for our heroes. That you for such a wonderful journey. -
Chapter 30: Barriers Broken
Quixo commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 30: Barriers Broken
What a roller-coaster! Leave it to curious Vincent to be the overachiever and find his way to a hybrid shift this soon. Obviously there is a very steep learning curve, made all the more difficult from having two minds (or is it three?) wrestling for control. Good thing Cyrus seems to have dealt with this before and had knowledge of what to do. I think the rest of the gang would be kind of clueless about this. Enough chat. Time to race to the next chapter. I'm so glad I'm reading this after the whole thing has come out. Waiting for installments to come out would drive me nuts.
