  1. I have a hunch that Vincent is holding back something he doesn't know he is capable of. Perhaps Stefan is correct that Vincent does have a bit of the divinity affinity and just doesn't know it or how to use it. The problem is that with every affinity comes a price and a responsibility. Hmmm, we'll just have to see what our fearless author has in store.
  2. I have to admit, that dealing with Alec's penchant for self-torture has hard to get through sometimes. but that has been what this whole journey has been about. Maybe it's been all the more annoying since it makes me have to acknowledge that trait in myself. Alec is lucky to have Finn. Anyone reading your story agrees with that. I'm lucky to have my husband. He may not be the Greek god/stud that Finn is, but he is to me. With only one chapter left, I hope Alec security he needs in Finn and allows himself to be happy.
  3. I've enjoyed the journey and have patiently waited for new material. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to balance writing and everything else in a busy life. It only takes me a little while to remember where we were and pick right up again. Thank you for giving such unpredictable characters and situations that have kept me anticipating each new chapter. Thank you.

    Chapter 8

I'm glad my schedule didn't allow me to start this story when you first released it. I've thoroughly enjoyed binge reading it this morning. It would have been torture having to wait for the next installment. Except that I'm almost caught up, so I will end up waiting for each new installment. Divine torture. (Like certain other pleasures in this story.)
  5. Well that went completely down an unpredictable path! Every twist and turn of the plot was completely different from what I had expected. All of it well done! Bravo. The reuniting of Shivay and Siku was easier than I had anticipated, but I guess I had underestimated Shivay's desire to be with his Mate. And Nimerah defending her son's honor was both surprising and fitting. It is interesting that the family seemed to have more terror in her killing of a cat than in her threat to kill another werecreature. Colt's death was done defending her son's violation, but her attempted attack on Siku didn't seem to be a problem for the rest of her family. Interesting. Altogether a wonderful journey. Thank you.
  6. Yeah, Colt is a monster unto himself. He certainly is used to being top of the tree and it's not any surprise that he had eyes and ears on the new bears in town. I won't be surprising if he mobilizes his forces now and this turns into a much bigger battle. I'm sure hope our boys are ready for it, because it's going to be a tough one. And Nameer is finally showing some backbone. He has decided for fight for his son, even if he has to do it behind his wife's back. That could turn violent too. And I still think Tiger Mom was somehow involved with the attack on Shivay. So glad you are back to this story. Hope all is well with you.

    News of the World

Glad to hear you're OK. I was worried. And thank you for resuming the story. It was surprising how easy it was to slip right back into things.

Nice wrap up to this story, with some great twists in the backstory. I've thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you.

    Chapter 22: Stay

My heart aches for Finn and Alec. I understand Alec's issues, but both of them need to make love so desperately. Not saying it will change their futures, but they both need to let their love out. I think both of them will grow up a bit from that.

    Chapter 22: Stay

But that was exactly where my mind went. And he's always been fully dressed so we don't know about any tats.
  13. I laughed and giggled my way through the whole chapter! I love Dirk's smart ass bear! As much as these guys are trying to take things slow, I wager they'll be breaking the bed sooner than either of them expect. Seem to be a lot of gay shifters. (That isn't a complaint.) Great chapter!

    A Time to Celebrate

The wedding was so beautiful! All the right feelings. And Eric finally allowing himself to feel happy being himself. Following his journey had been wonderful. It's happened at his own pace, and his own natural evolution. Thank you for not going too far with it. Eric wasn't ever going to burst out of his shell, fully adapted to the 21st century, but just that he is able to see his friends exist in the world openly and lovingly, is amazing progress for him. My comments are a bit of a jumble, but I just want to say thank you for this marvelous journey.
  15. A great sequel to "Sidewinder". This is even more of a love story than the original to me. Beautifully written. I kept reading chapter after chapter, wanting to read what happens next, and not wanting to stop. I love all of the characters, and got more than a little misty-eyed more than once. A great read.

    Sidewinder

A wonderfully written story of the Old West that goes in unexpected directions. Very easy to get caught up in the characters and get fully engaged in the action. Add to this some hot romance, and you have a very engrossing read indeed.
  17. Beautiful ending. All the right feels. Wouldn't mind another look at all of these fellas a few years down the road. Maybe some stray young man comes through town and needs some good father figure role models. In the meantime (after I leave reviews for both of these stories) I look forward to read more of your other writing. You definitely have a fan in me.
  18. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep!
  19. And damnit! I'm crying again! You didn't let me down! I'm glad that Mitch let Will be the first to know and opened his heart to love. There may be some bumps in the road ahead, but they'll be better off if they can endure them together. Now I can't wait to hear Coy's and Boone's reactions to the good news.
  20. OK, just having a bit of a cry over the good news. I have to admit I was pessimistic about folks thinking it was a misdiagnosis, but I was so glad to be wrong. It's sounding like Mitch probably had a bad case of pneumonia. Serious enough in pre-antibiotic days. But the main thing is Mitch has a future. Now will he be able to get over his pig-headed ways and allow the possibility of some happiness in that future? Don't let me down, Gary! You've gotten my romantic hopes up.
  21. Mitch need to wake up and realize that living in the present is far more important than worrying over an imagined future. Take love and happiness while you can. Will will convince him. He has to.
  22. The beautiful love making between Coy and Boone was an excellent way (especially for your readers) to release some frustration built around Mitch and Will. Hope the younger couple can get the older couple to come to their senses and have some love making of their own.
  23. Well, that's a lot of past history coming up front all at once. Certainly had a hunch that Mitch and Will had a past together, but as the details unraveled, it was still a surprise. Hope that Boone and Coy can be inspiration for Mitch and Will to at least start talking to each other. Yeah, I'm a sappy romantic, but I'm hoping for the best.

    Five of Cups

This is great - a romance, a thriller. Very film noire. (What is the literary version of film noire? Livre noire?)
  25. Off to a great start on this one. Can't wait to find out where it goes.
