    A disaster for Morland and for our protagonists. Fran almost had everything he had worked and sacrificed for only to see it all be torn to tatters. With Ed going one way and Fran another, some serious rethinking is going to be needed from one or both of them.

    We knew this had to happen. But now that it has, my heart is broken for Ed. He has seen a side to Fran, that is far from innocent and is shocked. I hope Ed can come to terms with the means Fran is using to get to the end.

    That would have been a procession to be remembered for life. Perhaps like those who lined the road ahead of HM's funeral. Fran is going to have to be very very careful now. Everything is so close.

    The story is moving on at a good pace. Fran is going to have to walk this tight rope very carefully indeed. Hie could lose Ed and also be caught out by either Gustave or the Duke. I like to think he will eventually be an advisor to the young King and be known as the Marquis of Gead.

    What a wonderful surprise!! I can't wait to see how the next chapter in George's life unfolds . Caroline is intent on staying relevant and only hope that by helping her do so, George is not creating a rod for his own back. I do hope Calvert is in good hands and that these two can be reunited. Interesting that George is starting to think about monogamy.

    Joe is a very good chap. He has certainly taken a liking to his uncle and Colin. I'm glad that Owain and Colin are more comfortable with PDA. They're becoming a real pair. As for Piggy, he doesn't sound like a keeper, that's for sure.

    Bearpaw is the charming story of two cowboys who find each other in the frontier west. With a good mix of romance, action and drama, Bearpaw is a read on which you can immerse yourself. A fantastic western tale that will have you smiling, laughing, quietly crying and then smiling again, this is a must read.
