@Summerabbacat it was the same for South Africans, except we didn't have British TV, but so many of us had roots in the UK that slang like the one you mentioned was, and still is commonplace. You're having a laugh. She is crackers etc.

OK. A great ending. I thought there would be a twist in the rale but wasn't expecting Silas' death. 🤔 😢 I'm pleased Vann has decided to give Caleb the chance to be his father. I didn't doubt that he would. Thank you for a magnificent series of stories. You have kept us engaged and involved. ❤

A very full chapter and some big shifts in the dynamics. Deidre is emerging as a more layered character and we are getting to know Justin's parents a little. Let's see how Deidre's life unfolds in the next few months as this will directly impact Toby, and our dads.

OK. I'm glad the Fae world is ready to assist and also that we have discovered a weakness in the armour of the new hybrids. It would be a pity to have to kill them all, but if there is no alternative then needs must.

Russ, Brian and Girdon are fairly comfortable being friends, with benefits. Toby seems ok with this too. Im not certain that a court knowing about the two dads having a third from time to time, will help their cause if they come to an argument with Deidre. Let's see.

A lovely, reflective chapter, in which Kubal takes the time and space to calm himself and re-centre. Pistol is a most apt name for his mare. What a beaut she is too! I know that Lucas will have e missed Jubal, but I think that Jubal did the right thing by taking a day to explore the surroundings and regroup.
