Well, I think we know what's going to happen in the next chapter. 🎶Hello, white mist, my old friend.🎶

Prompt 132: Starting Over
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Prompt 132: Starting Over
I left a lot of room for imagination with this prompt. There was a war involving a virus. Nukes were involved. What the heck happened? Was is revealed it was manufactured? Did allies protect their friends too much? I'll let the readers decide; it might encourage some new authors... -

I can only imagine what would happen to production from a nuclear fallout. -

If you were to poll us Kentuckians what we'd ransack first... it's either Walmart or a distillery. -
War is hell. It was one of my least favorite phrases; mostly for the fact it was said by many who had never seen war itself. The only bright side I see out of it now is the fact those people got their comeuppance. What a horrible thing to say. I need to remember many lost their lives. Hell, I lost friends to it. Richard. Sab. Will. Fuck, I lost my baby brother! The world is so messed up right now. Canada's gone. So is all of Europe. The Philippines, half of Africa, and Aus

...fine. But I'm finding that elf's address and egging his garage door!
-
I would have let Jordan deck the elf! To throw a rock at a howling wolf... the sheer ignorance. I feel the impending culmination of events coming up. Having rushed through this story, I'm very entertained! Keep up the fantastic work, Ye!

The Silver Hand... I don't like where this is heading.

As soon as Damian answered the phone, I knew it was bad news. Out of all the times I've pulled out my "I'm Callin' It" cap, I'm not sure if I can place a probable guess, other than Jordan's ex-magic teacher. If Jordan's apartment door was held by magic, then Miss Reyla meets her demise, in what I assume to be the same manner as the apartment fire, the teacher is the only suspect. I'm trying so hard to feel bad for Reyla's death... but Arisa saying t!t buffet is making it real hard...

I'm interested to see what happens when a neko is turned into a werewolf! As doc asked, I'd love to see a calico wolf... or would Damian turn into a panther or lion? Thoroughly enjoying this story! Off to blast through more chapters!

Teehee... things to discuss...

Nevertheless, as my review states... I'll be patiently waiting for a physical copy of this story.

How this story doesn't have 10+ recommendations is beyond my comprehension! I will make this declaration: this sequel to Wolf Pack is, by far, the greatest sequel to any story I've ever read. Not very many authors could pull off a complete shift in genre in the same series, but Yeoldebard does it flawlessly. This story picks up Elias from his adventure in the first story, and... well, I can't really describe where he goes without providing spoilers for both stories! The transition between these two works of art is just that damned good! The psychoanalysis done within this story is absolutely amazing. The thought put into the characters, their problems, and the solutions kept me at the edge of my seat. Years from now, I'll be explaining to my heart doctor what this tale has done to it. This story can stand alone, but I highly recommend reading Wolf Pack to make sense of the first several chapters. Nevertheless, this is a must read for any member of the GA community. Very well done, Yeoldebard. I'll be patiently waiting for a physical copy of this book.

I would have been excited to see more of Artemis and Elias' story, but I'm very happy with this ending! On to the review... then the next story in the series!

I havent had to make this traumatic move yet in my stories. I'm not looking forward to it...
-
I am just speechless! I'm going to need a minute...

This was a lot! I love it! These Kardoval need to work together and quit being so secretive. I think Essell needs to explain to them how humans love invasions... I agree with Cincy! We need a cerops welcoming party!

We all like a long story! At least I hope so. I'm starting to think I can't write a short story... And Priscilla joins the fray! I'm curious to see what trouble she'll cause. I'm grinning ear-to-ear! Morgan is a character from out of left field, and only had one mention (chapter three). Thanks drpaladin for going back and putting Morgan's description in here! Interesting comparison. Completely unintentional, of course! I think you're getting Dr. Morgan and Dr. Ronnet mixed up, Danners. Ronnet is the initial doctor Cyn encounters, and Morgan is mentioned by Ronnet when the nursing staff is rushing Cyn back into surgery. Cyn might be anime-levels of forgiving and compassionate. I wonder how many chapters it will take for Arric to carry Key into a bedroom... Eh, haven't gotten that far. I'll let you know I think Cyrus might be too busy to fry them, Patch. Arric and Kieran are indeed adorable. I think their personalities are starting to blend a bit. Arric snapped at Jaime, Kieran snapped at Arric, then two came to a quick compromise. I'm eager to see how else their relationship will change them. *** Thanks for your comments, everyone! I'm always happy to see them, especially when I post a chapter before bed and wake up to several of them!

“Status!” Shelly sprinted to the limp body. She looked to her left and saw Clive’s vehicle already gone. Fuck! Saige touched the scrawny man’s neck, “He’s breathing, but unconscious. Help me get him to the car.” The commander brushed off her subordinate’s order and lifted under Anton’s arms. Together, the ladies carried him to the hatchback. Saige hurried to stow away the back seats and open the rear door. “Gameplan, Commander?” Two options came to Shelly. Either we both take Ant

Chapter 27: Galvanic Gig

Grateful isn't a strong enough emotion to describe my feelings towards this comment. I'm moved that my stories can bring out such emotion to readers. I'm finishing up a Cernunnos chapter, then I'll get started on the next for RitS. -
Faster than the Speed of Light
astone2292 commented on Yeoldebard's story chapter in Faster than the Speed of Light
Elias combating the slave mindset is comforting! I look forward to our neko's adventure! -
I want to make this comment loud and clear: this is, possibly, the greatest start to any sequel I've every read! I'm hooked, not only to this story, but the series and universe! Holy hell! We go from werewolves, swords, and magic... to space travel!? Not many authors can pull off such a feat of introducing... oh hell, I don't even know how to describe this! It's the same dang timeline, but there's aliens? But they're not aliens, because Artemis is a tiger and knows what a neko is. I'm so confused, and I forkin' love it! @Yeoldebard Beautiful execution!

Prologue/The Taking of the Neko
astone2292 commented on Yeoldebard's story chapter in Prologue/The Taking of the Neko
Having just finished Wolf Pack... <fangirl scream> I want to know what happens to my Elias!! -
A riveting tale involving humans, elves, werewolves, mages, and, possibly the most adorable species I've encountered in literature, nekos. This story contains plenty of action, drama, and romance, and is blended seamlessly throughout every chapter. For anyone who loves a fantasy or paranormal tale, I recommend Wolf Pack.
