    Chapter 26

On the trek to the first parking lot, Shea detailed to the group they would be performing a lap around the entire forest, hitting every major and minor destination. Shea wouldn’t put it past Marric to park on the farthest end of the forest, just to run and wait at the attack site. The Greenbush picnic area was a bust, and the nearby campground and trail lots weren’t helpful either. We have plenty more to visit. The Enforcer was pleased to see Cyn handling himself with unfamiliar wolves. Ev
  2. I'm honored to be compared to WolfM! I can't wait to see if the story goes one of your three directions Now why do you think Vincent's going to be the one to come save the day?
  3. Well of course don't text and drive! I'm pretty sure the Electric Panda wouldn't approve of such behavior. Oh, Patch. Wagner has learned his lesson, and he'll get his at the pack meeting. I'm glad y'all are liking the Cy-Ty friendship! We'll have to wait until next chapter to see where this new Alpha will take things. I should have known you'd disapprove of Dirklan
  4. Well, I did it for the first couple of chapters back in LitS, and I really had no choice but to keep it going. There are times where I'd rather write another chapter than come up with the title name. I'm starting to play with using same sounds for the two words rather than letters (ex: Cyrus' Scourging).
  5. I think you're going to love the next chapter, sir... smarty pants...
  6. "You're not too bad yourself." He broke the hug and let her climb into the truck and headed for the driver side. Turning the key, he drove towards the larger metropolitan area. On the way, Dave kept his hand on Stacy's. Yep, they're not in Owensville anymore.
  7. This...sounds like it came from a prophetic airplane engineer/scientist. I love how you're already damning the "offenders." But...what can our Alpha Power Couple do from New York? Also, Dave and Stacy are in the big city, not Owensville, so any back-up will take a while. I think Dave's on his own with this one...
  8. Or it could be Dirplan, Dirklan, or Kaplirk. I'm in favor of Dirklan.
  9. I love the fact you hate me!!! This was great! I have a couple chapters written, they just need to be edited. Uh oh, @Philippe's fecal oscillator might need a tune-up.
  10. Ha ha! The Coyote Cliffy strikes again! I'm not sure, we haven't seen Dave fight yet. Can he take on three punks and an Alpha? Will his Beta-leveled intelligence be a factor? I guess y'all will have to wait and see! Wagner is like a less matured version of Dirk. With Dirk being a bear, we see patience in his demeanor, but Wagner was frontal with his initial encounter with Vincent. Oh, come on! Now there's going to be fanfic of Ty and Cy as a power couple! Even I have to admit it would be hilarious. I didn't think about theoretical coupling ideas when I introduced so many characters. I wonder whether the fiery wolf or the giggly bear would come out on top... Maybe Kap and Dirk should have been a thing. I can't wait to hear the input of a certain couple commentors (*cough* Patch, Philippe *cough*).
  11. Oh, I wish the next chapter was edited completely. I'd post it right now if it were! What's with early dates between my shifter/human couples? They always end up in trouble! Let's just hope this goes better than the damned intersection back in LitS...
  12. Oh, leave Stacy alone! She's just an innocent little lady. Cyrus is one out of a million! Easily, my favorite character to write for! I've based Wagner off one of my friends growing up. I'm still unsure if I could call him a friend, but there is something driving his attitude, but I'm unsure if we'll see it. Some people grow up to be bullies, but that's not their fault. Ooooooh, centex! I don't think I've seen you demand an update. Now that was a breath of fresh air! The next chapter is being edited, so it'll be coming around soon.
  13. Silence filled the room. Mason and Tierney’s eyes met for a moment, trying to deduce what the young Alpha meant in his statement. Cyrus squinted his eyes as he spoke up, “Alpha Bolton, could you elaborate for us?” Vincent kept his voice cold, “This man is not my ally, despite him being a council member to an allied pack.” The small man kept his unwavering gaze on Wagner, “I’ll only help him if his life depends on it. Outside of that one stipulation, I don’t recognize him as a respected lyca

    Ancalagon

I think we all wish for longer chapters, but that's what I find exciting about this story. To pack so much information into a small entry is both exciting and yearning! It makes Wednesday mornings something to look forward to. They make fantastic cliffhangers. If you haven't already, I suggest checking out more of her other stories while we anxiously wait for next Wednesday.

This story is part of the Wednesday Briefer project. The chapters are supposed to be 500-1000 words. This way, Miss Cia can have a new chapter posted every week.
  16. Oh boy! I'm late for the welcoming party! Welcome @AlexBulan!!! I can't wait to see what romance stories you'll be bringing!

    Chapter 34

Cia, if you could tell Myr to make a "flustered" reaction in the Like button menu, that'd be great...
  18. An excellent "coming out" story. Characters are defined and it is easy to see the southern heritage of the location. The family dynamic speaks to me, and I can only imagine what it does to others. While there are some punctuation errors, they can easily be ignored concerning the majority of the characters are in high school and they are the ones telling this story. The lines read as the characters speak, and this is something I appreciate in writing. Keep up the good work!

    Baby Steps

Pfft, it wasn't as bad as you made it out to be!

    Baby Steps

This was a pleasant turn of events involving Jason and Jesse. Great character building with Jesse so far, it seems he has strong control over his emotions, despite suffering a close loss in his life. To the next chapter!

    Chapter 25

Ah, Cleo. The leporidae shifter. Not much is known about them from our reader's standpoint, but we can imagine what they would love to do. Running seems a likely option. But, as we've seen, there's not much else they can do once they're in a predator's clutches. Ha! Carrot... that's an image I won't forget...

    Chapter 25

I'm curious to know who else was starting to think Eike could be redeemed in the early stages if Cleo's introduction. I'm thrilled that you loved this chapter. Currently working on a RitS chapter and then I'll be back here within a week

    Chapter 25

Y'all just started you're own little conversation, didn't ya? At least there's a moderator here to stop it from going too far... I thought about this. I'm constantly referencing a Google Maps overview of the Kettle Moraine State Forest for how actions would make more sense. The forest is large, and there are lots littered across the dang thing. Instead of taking windy roads in and around the forest, a pack of wolves...and a deer, could make straight lines from lot to lot.

    Chapter 25

Eike's the bad guy. He's pretty mean.

    Chapter 25

I knew when I wrote this chapter, I just knew you weren't going to like it, Val! Poor Cleo, I would have loved to keep writing about her...but Hauser was hungry...
