There's a lot I could say about this and it's all there in the story but it's not my job to do so ^^. To be fair, the hints are very vague and never in-your-face; instead they're often hidden in the narrative and seemingly unimportant details and remarks. Things will start taking more shape with time, for sure. Sometimes I have no idea if something is easy to figure out or not. Sometimes, things are intended to leave you wondering for now (like, aren't pumas of the same factions as the wolves? Well, wolves to seem to treat Ian with distrust but they're not openly hostile to him, that is until Ian dares to walk into the lion's den - this should narrow-down the possible options but there's no clear answer, yet) That's very, very flattering!!! I hope you don't find too many plot holes. Let me know if you do I'm very serious about the plot being always coherent and logical but I found myself forget about little details in the past... Anyway, thank you very much for reading and commenting (and for the emails back when you were reading on Nifty). I hope I won't make you wait for too long! Hehe, nice observation. Sure, the high, the addiction, the withdrawal, are all definitely a part of it but there surely has to be something more to cause all the war and commotion...
