Possibly it just to keep the mosquitoes from being a nuisance or keeping the tasty flies away.

Yes, snakes give off an odor as well, and I hope he carries some anti-venom serum around with him, just in case.

Yes, their scents are mainly to fend off mosquitoes and other predators. They don't want to appear too tasty a meal, although sometimes their scent is to attract a mate.

That's a very smart and environmentally friendly way to bake bread. It's also very creative and I'm sure the temperature is fairly consistent, which makes it useful.

Yes, that was a good time for their parents. As far as their grades are concerned, they're both bright young men that were valedictorian of their high schools class, so if that's any indication, then they should do fine.

This response explains how the system works, and if there is a limit on sub-genres it's fine. However, it would be helpful if there was a warning, like there is with the tags, but I disagree that the sub-genre 'family saga' couldn't apply to another genre, other than Literary Fiction. However, if that's the case then we'll just have to live with it, but I think that being able to use that sub-genre with other genres might be helpful to readers when they're choosing a story. I don't believe, though, that wanting to use that sub-genre with another genre means the story has lost its focus.

Yes, Devin caught the rapist, and of course lMac will come up with a very believable story to tell his parents, since he doesn't want them to get suspicious about what he's up to. Thanks for the feedback again, Albert.

Didn't you ever go frog hunting as a kid? It's kind of a fishy-like smell to repel mosquitos, but if they get stressed they can give off an even stronger smell, kind of a chemical smell. Oh, and thank you for the quote at the bottom, Marc Anthony, or should I say William Shakespeare?

Yes, it is bad when schools don't address the issue of rape, but in this case it seems to be so they don't scare the rapist into going somewhere else. They've got people actively looking for him. Maybe Devin's using a bloodhound's nose.

Michael is gay, Devin in bi, but he's chosen to be with Michael. And Skinwalkers don't live forever, but they do live much longer than the rest of us mortals. It's easier for them, because they can become young again anytime they want.
