It was a Japanese set of knives.
  2. So did you all notice that next week is a 1in every 4 years occurrence, a Leap Year? Not exactly. If the year is divisible by 100, but not divisible by 400, there is no leap year. There was no leap year in 1700, 1800, and 1900, but there was in 2000. The actual length of a year in 365.2425, and doing that is supposed to bring the calendar back in sync.
  3. Gee, I've never had a Mouse parade before, but I have acted Goofy at times. Thank you for your overwhelming support and I'm glad you are enjoying the story.

  5. No, he is not a very likeable guy, IMHO. I'm fighting with him.
  6. When you're home alone and don't expect anyone else there for a long time, that might happen. The front door was locked, they just forgot to look the bedroom door, much to their chagrin.
  7. Thank you again, Albert. I'm glad you seem to be enjoying this story.
  8. Thank you, Albert. I think I'm the older that attracts the older crowd. I understand my dialogue for the younger characters is outdated. Oh well, but I'm glad to have readers like you.
  9. I never got to know Uncle Anthony, but Uncle Albert was a really great guy .
  10. Thank you, Albert. I'm glad you're enjoying this. I had an Uncle Albert. He served in the Pacific during WW2, but his brother, Uncle Anthony, was killed during the D-day invasion in France.
  11. I wish I could say the same. Had black widow and brown recluae spiders here, along with a copperhead snake.
  12. Could they have chosen a more boring narrator to explain this news? Anyway, it had long been theorized that a massive collision such as this is what formed the moon, but now they seem to have the proof. It also seems to give a partial explanation for the ring of fire in the Pacific Ocean. The next question is whether that collision brought value minerals and other elements to earth, besides the high iron content.
  13. Yes, there are a lot of great things in Australia, if you're not concerned about the poisonous snakes and spiders.
  14. Nope, not even from the UK, although I spent a summer there once. Or even Penrith, Australia. got confused there for a second. lol
  15. Let's put it this way. I wrote the story you're reading when I was 50. I'm now 75, and my guess would be that you're one of my contemporaries.
  16. I don't know how old you are, but I'm glad that you were able to identify with this chapter. And your question is one that has stumped me as well. Thank you for the feedback.
  17. Hehehe, You've got to remember how long ago I wrote this story. The early books were written before cell phone were as popular or common as they are today.
  18. Thank you. This was the very first story I wrote. A Place In My Heart was the fourth story I wrote.
  19. I'm not trying to. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of that fact.
  20. I'm glad you think so. Just remember, that since this story is titled A Tragic Love, don't expect a happy ending.
  21. Thank you, Albert, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. And since you've given this story so much praise, you should think about leaving a story comment or leave a story review. Just don't give away too many details or the plot of the story.
  22. Oh, I'm always up for including a little surprise in my stories and they'll either make you cry or jump for joy and pump your fists in the air.
  23. Thank you, Albert. You're very flattering . I just hope I'm worthy of your praise. Thank you.
