  1. You're correct, James, and even though I have readers that leave a great many chapter comments, they often overlook the st ory page to comment or click on an emoji. I hope a lot of readers read your post and react to this common oversight. Thank you for pointing this out. Come to think of it, I may be guilty of this as well. Oops. I'll have to get better.
  2. Thank you, Albert. Your kind words overwhelm me.

    Chapter 4 S2

An interesting suggestion, Anton. I'm considering having something showup in her yard that maybe cause the gossip unwanted and derogatory attention as well.

    Chapter 4 S2

Good point. They could transition into birds or squirrels to get to her yard where they could then transition into something else, something more ddangerous, hideous, unusual, or just downright frightening.

    Chapter 4 S2

Sorry, Terry. I'd overlooked your comment. Anyway, t he boys should probably tell off Louella, but being the city clerk she might be able to cause trouble for the boys, and possibly Pops and Gramps, and bring unwanted at ent ion to them. Therefore, the boys have been encourage to bite their tongue when it comes to her. A minor official with a false sense of power can be very dangerous when it comes to shining a light on them.

    Chapter 4 S2

It's a good idea, Lee, but it was mentioned a couple of times in the story that the garage was detached from the house. Back when the house was built, not only didn't they have garages, possibly a separate building to store the wagon, but there were no attached garages at the time and house designs weren't conducive to trying to attach on later.
  7. Yes, he is definitely more vivacious than his brother, at least at the present.
  8. Thank you for the feedback and the compl iment, and I so glad you are enjoying this story.

Why not have a pair of hellhounds go there and scratch at her door?

    Chapter 4 S2

Maybe when they graduate, so they don't have to deal with her aga in. . A graduation gift for Luella. 😜 😈

Why not have them spray her and her car while we're at it? 😈

    Chapter 4 S2

I think this is a great idea, but since I'm just about done writing Secrets 2, I had to look back to see where I could add it. I think I've found the perfect point to do that, so I'm altering those chapters and all that follow then as well. ❤️

    Chapter 4 S2

We could make a week of it. The Aussie Aboriginies one night, members of an Amazon tribe the next, two Sioux chiefs playing their war drums the next, a couple of Amazon tribal warriors with their blowguns after that, a couple of Eskimos chewing on whale blubber the night after that, and then finish up with two grey aliens. She might be ready for a rubber room when the week ends.

That's always possible. We just have to cross our fingers and hold our breath hoping that doesn't happen.

But I believe the sightings are of the 'greys' not 'little green men'.

    Chapter 4 S2

Yes, and it would be interesting to see if the boys could transition into something like that. Remember, the shaman told them they could only transition into something that had once appeared on earth. That's why they asked in Bigfoot had once appeared on earth, since they were able to transition into one.

    Chapter 4 S2

That's a good point, but Devin has an older SUV that he 'inherited' from his dad. I don't think ;his SUV has tinted windows, at least not tinted to that degree.

    Chapter 4 S2

I'm sure she probably knows the guy at the dog park, seeing she's the county clerk, but they might not realize they're both 'acquainted' with the boys. Interesting suggestion, but I've never heard of an Urban Bigfoot before. As far as I know, they're only seen in rural and remote areas.
  19. Chapter 04 – Red Flags Things were going fairly well for us during the first week of classes, so we decided we could spare the time to drive to the University of Colorado for the CSU – Colorado football game. The University of Colorado is in Boulder and only about 60 miles (97 km) away from Fort Collins, so the drive should only take a little over an hour to get there. We also decided to invite a few of our friends to go with us, including Barry, since we felt it wouldn’t make much sense
  20. Jordan had made a difficult admission in the last chapter, not knowing what effect it would have. Fortunately, it had a positive effect that he wasn't expecting. Making up is so hard to do, but well worth the effort. Thank you again for your feedback.
  21. Yes, breaking up is hard to do. We can only help that they will mend their differencees. Thanks again for the feedback.
  22. Yes, the times are restless, so how will they turn out. Thank you again for the feedback.
  23. Thank you again for the feedback, and I'm glad you understand. I'm sorry to hear about your parents, but I've been there and done that as well. Onward we go.
  24. Thank you again for the feedback, Albert, but be prepared, because there will be some bumps in the road along the way.
  25. Thank you for the feedback and I'm so glad you are enjoying this story and hope you continue to enjoy it as it progresses.
