  1. Thanks, Stix. I'm glad you enjoyed it. A tree house and dogs are always fun for growing boys.
  2. Thanks, Jim. I'm glad you've taken to them so quickly.
  3. Thanks for the feedback, flesco. Yes, the boys are enjoying the tree house, Xander's fitting in nicely, and the boys have been very accepting of him. And the Currie clan is continuing to grow and expand. Not only at the Hotel, but Cole and Beth are expecting as well and will be adding yet another grandchild. Don't worry, you'll hear plenty about Josh and Jake's trip to Atlanta to visit Nick and Shannon. I hope you find all of it interesting.
  4. Jim, you're very welcome and that came about due to suggestions from the readers. They wanted to hear about some of the older family members and learn what they were up to.
  5. I agree, Wesley, and I believe he'll do very well with the Curries.
  6. Thanks, Jim. I'm just trying to give you a little more background into some of the boys.
  7. Thank you, Danilo. The boys have their tree house and the Currie clan continues to grow.
  8. The boys were hyper from the minute they woke up on Thursday morning, although we got them to settle down slightly while they were eating breakfast. “We can’t wait to do this,” the twins said in between bites. “Yes, I can tell.” “Should we start taking stuff up there when we’re done eatin’?” followed Tristan. “You can take your sleeping bags up there, and then you can take up the lantern and your laptops. We’ll leave the snacks and drinks until after lunch, because Dion still
  9. Thank you, jarquafellmu. I'm glad you're enjoying the new book and the fact that Xander and TJ are not part of the Currie clan. That's an interesting suggestion about Graham bringing closure between TJ and his mother, but that would have to happen far in the future. I'm not sure how old TJ would have to be in order to understand what Graham might be trying to do, but it's a definite possibility. Thanks for the feedback.
  10. Yes, those two had a very difficult start in life. Fortunately, it gets better for them.
  11. Thanks, tor.
  12. Thank you, Lizzy. I'm glad you've enjoyed this series. Thanks for the feedback.
  13. Thanks, flesco. Yes, the boys have been great in dealing with Xander, but they've had great role models. I think most of them know what it's like to be on the receiving end, so they go out of their way to make sure they don't do it to anyone else. I think you've also put your finger on a problem - capitalism is good up to a point, but we it becomes all about return on investment and make obscene amounts of money to the point where they don't care about the rest of society, that's the drawback. There has to be a hapy medium between those two goals. Thanks again for your feedback.
  14. Half of the mystery from the previous chapter has become clear. Richard had two more boys who needed a good home, and Xander will get one with Danny and Brandon, while baby TJ will grow up in the loving care of Dion and Trey. I'm sure the love and support they each receive from the Curries will help them get past the rough hands they'd been dealt, and in Xander's case the abuse and embarrassment he's had to endure. Thanks again for the feedback.
  15. Thanks again, flesco. Yes, Josh time with Frankie and Carolyn went very well and there were some very touching moments between them. The grandsons are definitely happy that Josh is back home, and like most kids, they're eager to show them their new toy, in this case the tree house. There are also a few mysteries awaiting them, such as what Richard wants to speak with them about and why Cole and Beth invited Josh and Jake over for dinner. I'm sure that will all be resolved soon - hopefully to everyone's satisfaction. Thanks for the feedback.
  16. Thanks, flesco. There definitely was a lot going on in this chapter and everyone is happy to be back together again. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  17. Thanks, Stix.
  18. Thanks, Danilo. I made a change to clarify that for you.
  19. Thanks Tony. I'm glad you're continuing to enjoy this story. There's a lot more to come. Sorry about the duplicate response. It didn't seem to be working, so I hit the send button again. Oops. lol
  20. Thanks Tony. I'm glad you're continuing to enjoy this story. There's a lot more to come.
  21. Yes, we all need an escape from the real world every now and then.
  22. Yes, they've stepped up big time! Thanks for the feedback, Wesley.
  23. We had time to explain the situation to Noah and Holly while we were waiting for Brandon and Xander to arrive home and Elliot promised to come back before Xander got here. He had to take Ian home first, since Ian had promised to have dinner with his parents tonight. Unfortunately, Revin had to go home with his mother before Xander arrived, so Xander would meet Revin, Becky, and Ian tomorrow. When the SUV pulled into the driveway, Brandon and Xander got out, grabbed a few packages each, and
  24. Thanks, tor.
  25. Wesley, I take it that you're referring to Xander's former foster parents, not the Curries, and I agree.
