  1. Good point, Zombie! lol
  2. Happy Birthday, Carlos!
  3. Happy Birthday, Jon!
  4. “I will be happy to grant your request,” the wizard told Garreth and Romaric, “but I think there is more going on here than what you’ve told me.” The teens immediately became uncomfortable and started fidgeting with their hands, while also trying to avoid Beraut’s intense gaze, but it didn’t seem to help. Eventually, they reached the point where they felt they had to respond. “We just don’t want to go,” Garreth advised him, hoping this would suffice, but his comment was unconvincing
  5. I think a traditional 'Bride of Frankenstein' ceremony is in order. That's bags over the head in front of a Justice of the Peace. That should lower the cost a bit and she would still be a bride, fulfilling her basic human right.
  6. Madumda had not aged as well as Beraut and his appearance made him look considerably older than the actual number of years separating him from the only other surviving member of the Council of Wizards. Even though his vast magical potential should have compensated for or even overcome the difference in their ages, it was obvious other factors had come into play. What they were, however, no one alive could say. The physical differences and lack of personal attentiveness to grooming were u
  7. Thanks, True. I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you are enjoying this story.
  8. Thanks, True. I hope you enjoy it.
  9. I'm like James. I laughed at them and criticized those wearing them, but would never wear a pair myself.
  10. As Graeme pointed out, your explain of plural and possessive is correct, but the examples are reversed. I hope you can correct that mistake.
  11. Qaim awoke long before Kieren the following morning, but he continued to lie quietly on the rug and waited for his young master to awaken. Before long, the teenager began to stir and slowly rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Then, Kieren began to stretch every muscle in his body, in an unconscious attempt to get the blood circulating again. Kieren hadn’t quite finished his morning ritual when there was a knock on the door. Responding to it, he slid out of bed so he could see who was there. Qai
  12. Yes, there is a limit on the number each member can use in a day, but I appreciate your support and your constant feedback.
  13. Fitzhugh, I'm not sure if you were referring to the Josh/Jake portion or that it was Sept. 11, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback.
  14. Fitzhugh, you are welcome and I'm glad you're still making your way through this rather lengthy series. As I've said before, the Curries, like everyone else, has their good times and their bad, and they struggle through the rough times just like the rest of us. Thanks for the feedback.
  15. Lenny, thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed this story. As a writer, you know that not everyone is going to agree with your choices, but I included what I thought was needed and left out the rest. I agree with you that sometimes it is better to leave certain details up to the readers' imagination and let them draw their own conclusions. Thanks agains for your input.
  16. I love it, but I'd probably kill myself if I ever tried doing that. I have a treadmill in the house, but it's only used for my three-mile walks and doesn't include any of the acrobatics.
  17. Lenny, I'm glad this chapter touched you so deeply and I hope I've also helped at least a few considering this drastic option to take another look at their choice. I can understand why and how people might get to that point, but I hope they find help before they go through with it. Thanks for the feedback and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story as well.
  18. Yep, Jake works for UPS, so there's possibilities down the road. Thanks for the feedback, Fitzhugh.
  19. Yes, Kevin has had a bit of bad luck in the love department, but he's not about to give up. We'll see what happens for him. Thanks for the feedback, Fitzhugh.
  20. Kieren and the others followed their dwarf guide and traveled down a series of well-lit passages until they stood before another magnificent stairway. This one led even farther into the depths of the mountain, so when Qaim saw it he quickly sidled closer to Kieren. If it weren’t for the knowledge that they were going down this stairway to get something to eat, the creature might have refused to continue on. This new structure was a truly grandiose sight and even more spectacular than the
  21. Wow, you're really moving along on this series and I'm glad you're still enjoying it. Thanks for the continued feedback.
  22. Maybe Stone Cold's view will carry some weight with the good ole boys in the south that treat professional wrestling and NASCAR as religions too!
  23. The Curries have their ups and downs, but most years are very good to them. Thanks for the feedback, Fitzhugh!
  24. It sounds good, but unfortunately revised series are seldom as good as the original. I always looked forward to watch Scully and Mulder and only hope they can capture the same magic.
  25. Thanks, Fitzhugh,I'm glad you're still enjoying this series.
