    It may look that way on the calendar and we've had temps in the 70s during the day, but this weekend we're supposed to drop close to freezing overnight. I moved to GA to avoid the snow and cold.

    There are a few possible answers to this question, but to keep it fairly clean... possibly he tangled the key into the hair on his head or he had a subcutaneous implant that would allow him to activate the locking system, so he could leave the key inside the car.

    The rear entrance into Thorold loomed up in front of Kieren and his protectors, now that they had finally completed the lengthy first leg of their journey. Each of them was exhausted from everything they had endured thus far, including the few days they had been trapped inside Briarwood. Now, they were looking forward to a decent meal, a warm bath and a chance to sleep in a comfortable bed again.     Thanks for the feedback, Isaac. I'm a little surprised by the comment, since in the past I've been told that I don't have enough descriptions. It's certainly not a bad thing to be compared to Moby Dick however, so I hope you're enjoying the story.

    Nimoy, like his character, 'lived long and prospered.' Now, may he rest in peace. I, like DaddyD, watched the Star Trek series from the start, when it first aired. Although we will still be able to see him in reruns of the series and movies, he will be missed.
