    Fortunately, the area gets a lot of rain and isn't in a drought, but what stupidity. I'd hate to be him or his parents, because I'm sure they'll take a lot of heat (probably justified) and possibly have to foot the bill for this action.

    Throughout history, many captains have gone down with the ship. However, probably just as many ignored the precedent and felt their life more valuable than the rest of the passengers and crew. However, what took place on this ship sounds horrific and irresponsible. Changing course into uncharted waters, ordering passengers to stay put and not abandon ship. From what I've seen, sounds like a good case for criminal prosecution and lawsuits, not that they'll be adequate compensation or replacement for the lost loved ones.

    If the kids turn off to Justin, no longer buy his music or go to his concerts, maybe it will have an impact. If he no longer is raking in the big bucks, then maybe he'll get the message to clean up his act. We can only hope.

    Enjoyed the loved story and was glad Dev found someone without leaving the ranch.

    Your story was beautifully written and very compelling. I could feel for both River and Mathew and empathize with each of them. The only thing I had a problem with was at the end. I found it hard to believe that the police would come looking for him so quickly. The usually won't even consider a missing person report for 24 to 48 hours and it isn't as if he had escaped from a mental institution. He was still an outpatient and not declared dangerous, although there were suspicions. Other than that one minor flaw, I absolutely loved this.

    Interesting story, Cia, and definitely not what I was expecting. I found your characters intriguing and the story line captivating. I enjoyed the hunt and worried that something bad would happen to Miah, but hoped his country background would allow him to survive. I never expected the outcome you came up with though. Thanks for the fun read.
