Thank your very much for the feedback and I'm glad you are enjoying the story thus far. As far as any similarities with Global, I'm not familiar with that work, so any similarities are purely a coincidence. As far as the prologue, so were correct in interpreting that I did this to show the utter evil portrayed by the protagonist. -

Thanks for the feedback, Gary. We not only have to be concerned about the impossible situations we find ourselves in, but also those we might be putting others in. A cornered or wounded animal (or victim) can be the most fierce.

Even though some views are changing overall, there will always be groups that won't grow and change with the times and will continue to cling stubbornly to the past.

AC, thanks for the feedback and kind review. There is still a lot to be accomplished in the LGBT community, and unfortunately the transgendered is the group that's lagging farthest behind. Let's hope that situation improves quickly, otherwise a bunch of young kids will be dealing with situations that even people far older would find difficult to deal with.

Were they at the wrong place (Amber vs Ember)? Where was the other couple? Was this an early Halloween story? Inquisitive minds want to know. lol I certainly won't be visiting any elegant, old hotels in the near future. Definitely short, to the point and no mistaking the mood.

Thanks, craftingmom. I'm hoping this might help one or more of the young transgendered kids out there who are suffering from a lack of understanding from those around them. Maybe someone will read this and finally come to the realization of what they're going through. Thanks for the feedback.

Good job with a tricky subject. I would like to find out more about Ryan, but I'd like to know how Neil made out too. There are some good people out there that try to help, but unfortunately there are probably more than that willing to turn their back on someone in need or heap more grief upon them. Take a bow.
