  1. Woah, *shakes head* The strangest thing just happened. I Read that you say those shows suck... but I must have had a laspe in sanity or something because SURELY you did not say that... for it is practically impossible to do such a thing. It was like understanding German, but just for an instant. How strange... *shuts off sarcasm light*
  2. I've always like an "Actually, Jesus said this" approach. How convienant that the WBC overlooks that...
  3. What I love best about that, is that all the actors played an instrument... onstage while the show was going on. I want to say Mrs. Lovett played something awesome like the trombone, but I could be wrong.
  4. So I discovered thanks to IMDB, that HBC is like Tim Burton's girlfriend. They've been dating for years, and have a kid together. So THAT'S why she's in all of his movies!! And I've seen the Lansbury version once on tape, but I'm more familiar with the new revival soundtrack (with Patti Lupone, who is lovely)
  5. Yeah, I agree. I probably would have responded more if he used less of an "I'm an Athiest and Don't Care Anyway" and more of a "You're totally screwing up the basis of Christianity" tone. Of course, if i were Athiest, I might have liked it... hmm. But seeing as I'm not (Lutheran, woo) I couldn't really connect with that. Still funny as hell though.
  6. Honestly Kevin, I recommend watching it online... no commericals! I've never missed an episode and this is the fourth season. Of course, it's also the only show I make a point not to miss. But thanks to the power of DVR, I've got it set to automatically record. (that, and Private Practice, the Grey's spinoff!!) DVR is how I keep up with my Dr. Who and Torchwood. (John Barrowman *drool* and he sings really really really well) I'm a sucker for actors who are really huge theatre boys. TR's included in this!
  7. EEEEE! Please tell me that I am not the only one absolutely JAZZED about the Sweeney Todd movie coming out this Christmas. For those of you unaware, it's the movie verison of the Stephen Sondhiem musical. The story is pretty much how a really ticked off barber gets his revenge on the guy who broke up his family and took his child... It's DELIGHTFUL! And the music is amazing. It's directed by Tim Burton, and has Johnny Depp, and Helena Bohnam Carter in the leads (naturally) It also starts Alan Rickman!! Here's the link for the trailer. Hopefully then you'll be as excited as I am! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svP3HsJB5ng
  8. I watched a show on the History Channel on cults today... and it was funny, because all the cults had little housing complex thingys... JUST LIKE THE WBC!!! HMM.. I wonder if there's a connection?!?!
  9. oooh, I agree. I think just about everyone looks cute in scrubs. I think I look cute in scrubs (what I have to wear for work) his hair was a little out there in that ad, but like all good husbands, I'm willing to forgive a little thing like that!
  10. Hey CONGRATS! Mmmkay?
  11. 12 new Broadway soundtracks I got from the library... (yeah, I'm a nerd) More specifically, Before the Parade Passes By, from "Hello, Dolly" Barbara Streisand, not Carol Channing. I like my Dollys to actually sound like woman, thank you.
  12. I'm celebrating that all my classes got cancelled for today!! And the fact that I get to make dinner tonight, and have lots of yummy things I want to try!!
  13. Yes l loved that, "Come let's shorten our lives together!" hahaha. ooooh WBC, you make me giggle with your craziness.
  14. He's from Grey's Anatomy, not Scrubs. I know this, because I live and breathe Grey's Anatomy. He's also my no. 1 TV crush. (And future husband) he just doesn't know it yet... And a groan to Kevin for the bad joke... haha
  15. FUNNY STUFF! Yeah, I didn't realize before that they were all from the same family. Though it makes more sense to think of it that way. You'd almost have to be imbred to believe that garbage. Ah well..
  16. Dan Savage writes Savage Love. My favorite segment of The Onion! He's also from Madison, WI, and worked at the coolest video store on State Street. (Seriously, if you ever need a foreign or artsy movie, that is the place!)
  17. Hey! Thanks for putting up the link! I'm so bad a remembering to do that... I promise I'll try to do that in the future. And thanks for the comments!
  18. Hey guys, thanks for the comments! And I LOVE the Incredibles!! The wicked step-mother was something I've wanted to put in a story for a really long time. Just WAIT until later. You're gonna hate her!!
  19. Aw, thanks for putting the link up!! And thanks for the comments!
  20. Oh Thanks! I totally forgot about that!! I'll go and change it right away!
  21. Haha, I was in the college parting lot on Friday, and there were two cars parked next to each other. The first one said "Vote Yes: One Man, One Woman" (It was for the amendment that WI had last year... we lost... But I'll change!) The other one had lots of rainbows and liberal stickers all over it. I couldn't help but wonder if the second guy parked there on purpose....
  22. Hey Everyone, This is for discussing my new story. Please let me know what you like, what you don't, and other stuff you think I should know!! -AM
  23. I have buttons that say this, but I've always wanted shirts that say, "Proud Member of the Immoral Minority" and "Doing my part to piss off the religious right"
  24. I've never flown in a plane...
  25. That's totally kick-ass. Yay for straight people. I WANT one of those shirts... *grumble8
