  1. Let's see... the movies I saw lately.... 1. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry: I saw this today... and I don't know. All of my friends went on and on about how good it was. I just didn't see it. I mean, yeah, it had a good message. Maybe I'll have to try to watch it again when I'm not running around doing stuff around the house. 2. Purfume: Story of a Murderer: I LOVED THIS MOVIE!! It was really visual, and with the expecption of the strangest last 10 minutes I've ever seen, it was great. I watched it for two words: Alan Rickman. 3. The Last Kiss: Meh, it was ok. The most exciting part for me, was that the whole movie was shot in Madison, and a few scenes happened on campus. It was neat to think that I WAS THERE! (and also depressing because I'm not anymore.) 4. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof: Liz Taylor and Paul Newman. The worst part of the movie, is that since it was filmed in the 50s, they completely cut out the a huge HUGE plot dealing with homosexuality. It completely changed the story, but I still thought the movie was nice. You're better off seeing the play though, especially for the original storyline! That's all I've got right now. That's all I can think of right now that haven't already been mentioned.
  2. Last Weekend: $2.98 a gallon. This Weekend: $3.20 a gallon. ENOUGH SAID :(
  3. Well, I'm turning 20 in January, but I wish I was about 24 or something. I'll be out of undergrad, and in law school, doing something with my life that's important to me. That, and 24 has always been an appealing age to me....
  4. I think no. 3 is my favorite. Are there many topless tropical fish store clerks??
  5. I agree. Being gay means for me eventually settling down and sharing my life with someone of the same sex. It also means I have to stand up for what I believe in, because some people don't agree with my life choices. In the end, however, things will work out, and I know I will be happy. And I will change the world for the better, hopefully.
  6. *sigh* well, if you WANT to split hairs.... And you know, I lied about the tutoring, so who knows what I'm doing with draco?? (Yes, this is geeky, be i love it.)
  7. Wait, no one told you? Tom Felton and I are dating, and he'd never do something like that... *wakes up* oh crap...
  8. Oh man... I know I would have been way too happy with that.
  9. I love last year when little kids went through the dorm. That was sooo much fun!
  10. I don't like Nickelback... All of their songs sound the same to me. But that's just me I guess.
  11. I'm too old to go Trick or Treating anymore... *sigh* But I'll get to hand out candy!!!
  12. Thanks again guys!! This ideas are all great! I fricken love lasertag...
  13. YAY KEVIN!!!
  14. I'm celebrating the end of almost 20 years of singlehood. .... *squee*
  15. Oh! I forgot!! 6. Get married 7. Have adorable red-haired children with strong, upstanding English names.
  16. Wow, you have a very high risk list... Mine is a little more mellow. 1. Travel to England 2. Learn to Tapdance 3. Take up the Violin 4. Play one or more of the following parts: The Phantom Princeton/Rod from Avenue Q Sweeney Todd Charlie Brown Mike from Zanna, Don't 5. Take a plane trip ( I haven't yet... I know...)
  17. Oh no! I'll be thinking of him for sure... Thanks for letting us know.
  18. That is probably the most British sounding thing I've read in a long time... "Scones made by a gentlemen." haha. I love scones. And Gentlemen.
  19. haha... Funny stuff!
  20. Amen Menzo. I iron EVERYTHING. Almost compulsively. Wrinkles are bad!! And I bake better than everyone I know (except my mummy, who taught me!)
  21. Eh, I didn't like that at all. It was all hindsight. You could have done that with ANY of the characters. (AKA, Harry's obsession with Malfoy in book 6. THAT's pretty darn suspicious if you ask me.) People are making way to big a deal out of this.
  22. Yup, it's been changed for a while. I'm glad you like it!
  23. It's clockwise!! I was totally distracted by the turning for a while though..... Of course, I've known I was right-brained for a while. I'm an English and writing freak, and can't to math or anything to save my soul. Sometimes I think I only have the right part of my brain. My sister is the exact opposite. She's a math wiz!
  24. Someone's actually suggested that movie already, and it's one the list. Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Now I just have to get everyone to show up! (grrrrrr)
  25. Hey all, I don't remember if I mentioned this, but I was elected Vice President of the LGBTQ Club at my college. I'm pretty excited about it, and I've met some fun people. However, unlike the LGBTQ Club at my old college (University of Wisconsin), this one is downright tiny. I'm talking like, 8 people. On good days. The officers are supposed to be organizing events at the campus, but with such a small amount of people that I KNOW will attend, it's hard to plan. So... I was wondering if you had any suggestions. You'll all wonderful, and I take your ideas very seriously. I'm trying to think of movies, but I'd like to find one that will appeal to the non-LGBT crowd as well. Any help you can give me would be pretty much amazing. Thanks! Ben (Adrian Michaels)
