  1. Whoops... That's all I can say to that!
  2. I think you're wonderful for doing all that. The world needs more people like you! -AM
  3. Hey, I think that's awesome! My name is actually on a research paper that I helped with last year. It's getting put in all the medical journals, and I honestly dont' know who's going to look at it. Doctors I guess. But my name is on it all the same (not bad, considering I was a college freshman, and the other two names are Chief of Pathology and Chief of Surgery) I don't go to that school anymore, but they're sending my a copy of it. I think I'm gonna have it framed!! Congrats again!
  4. Yay! We'll start a new trend that will sweep the nation. And it will be better than Crocs or Ugg Boots. (Because really, it would be almost impossible not to be."
  5. I think that needs to be the new responce for whenever something good happens to you "Congrats! You just aced the midterm!" "Oh Christ."
  6. Aww... the poor guy probably doesn't even get to pick. I just hope he didn't plan to have his hair like that...
  7. Haha! "Oh Crap I haven't sent my National Coming Out Day cards yet. What is everyone going to think of me?" Maybe eventually they'll make it a bank holiday!
  8. Hm... It's possible. Maybe UW just did a coming out thing in March for the heck of it. I guess I wouldn't be all that surprised.
  9. You have no idea how happy I was the day I realized Old Navy and Gap were owned by the same company! I think I was in the dressing room, and and I saw it on a little poster... I'm pretty sure I yelled "score!" To which my friend replies, "Already? You've just put in on... jeeze, it must be attractive..." I love my friends.
  10. Aw, that was wonderful. I she looks like the nicest lady. Like a cute little grandma. I would probably react that way too!
  11. *covers ears* lalalalalalalala I can't hear you!! It's a show. I like it. It makes me smile and lightens my day. When I am happy, I am nice to those around me, and in turn, that makes them happy. Is is sad that a TV can do all this? Perhaps. lol, I'm just kidding. One of by best friends doesn't like the show either. Tries to call me in the middle of it. That's one of the worst things you can do to me, second only to taking me to Gap and not letting me look at the sweaters... haha.
  12. Yeah, for some reason I thought it was in March... but then someone reminded me yesterday about it.
  13. Haha... My dad did say that he wouldn't have to worry about heart problems, becuase there was not heart to damage.
  14. It's only a crime to those of us who have dedicated our lives to watching cute surigical interns advance their careers. I'm guilty of this. Grey's Anatomy, Harry Potter and Musical Theatre are my vices. It's safer than drinking and smoking. lol. And I haven't seen last night's episode of Grey's yet... oops. I should do that.
  15. Aww... I missed it. But I did have like 3 voicemails wishing me a happy COD. today, ironically, is National Frustration Day (according to the radio) So maybe people are upset they missed their chance??
  16. I'm from Wisconsin, as many of you know, and this week just a bit north of where I live a sherrif's deputy shot and killed several people. He was 20, and the victims included his ex-girlfriend, and some friends, including some young high school students. The reason I bring this up, is that my father is an officer in the State Patrol, and he was just notified that the WBC is coming to the town to protest at the funerals of those killed in the incident. Now even my father, who's pretty darn conservative, is like, "This is totally sick, these people are freaks." He also told me that he went to the WBC's website (godhatesfags) and was APPALLED. So yay, they're gonna be in my homestate this weekend... But I did tell my father he should taze Fred Phelps if he gets the chance...
  17. Woah, *shakes head* The strangest thing just happened. I Read that you say those shows suck... but I must have had a laspe in sanity or something because SURELY you did not say that... for it is practically impossible to do such a thing. It was like understanding German, but just for an instant. How strange... *shuts off sarcasm light*
  18. I've always like an "Actually, Jesus said this" approach. How convienant that the WBC overlooks that...
  19. What I love best about that, is that all the actors played an instrument... onstage while the show was going on. I want to say Mrs. Lovett played something awesome like the trombone, but I could be wrong.
  20. So I discovered thanks to IMDB, that HBC is like Tim Burton's girlfriend. They've been dating for years, and have a kid together. So THAT'S why she's in all of his movies!! And I've seen the Lansbury version once on tape, but I'm more familiar with the new revival soundtrack (with Patti Lupone, who is lovely)
  21. Yeah, I agree. I probably would have responded more if he used less of an "I'm an Athiest and Don't Care Anyway" and more of a "You're totally screwing up the basis of Christianity" tone. Of course, if i were Athiest, I might have liked it... hmm. But seeing as I'm not (Lutheran, woo) I couldn't really connect with that. Still funny as hell though.
  22. Honestly Kevin, I recommend watching it online... no commericals! I've never missed an episode and this is the fourth season. Of course, it's also the only show I make a point not to miss. But thanks to the power of DVR, I've got it set to automatically record. (that, and Private Practice, the Grey's spinoff!!) DVR is how I keep up with my Dr. Who and Torchwood. (John Barrowman *drool* and he sings really really really well) I'm a sucker for actors who are really huge theatre boys. TR's included in this!
  23. EEEEE! Please tell me that I am not the only one absolutely JAZZED about the Sweeney Todd movie coming out this Christmas. For those of you unaware, it's the movie verison of the Stephen Sondhiem musical. The story is pretty much how a really ticked off barber gets his revenge on the guy who broke up his family and took his child... It's DELIGHTFUL! And the music is amazing. It's directed by Tim Burton, and has Johnny Depp, and Helena Bohnam Carter in the leads (naturally) It also starts Alan Rickman!! Here's the link for the trailer. Hopefully then you'll be as excited as I am! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svP3HsJB5ng
  24. I watched a show on the History Channel on cults today... and it was funny, because all the cults had little housing complex thingys... JUST LIKE THE WBC!!! HMM.. I wonder if there's a connection?!?!
  25. oooh, I agree. I think just about everyone looks cute in scrubs. I think I look cute in scrubs (what I have to wear for work) his hair was a little out there in that ad, but like all good husbands, I'm willing to forgive a little thing like that!
