  1. ..........To my friends that are Cristian or follow their customs ...I wish you a Merry Christmas also, my Hanukkah ended a week ago! LOL!
  2. Duck we like, but the one year we tried a goose it was way to greasy and no one liked it.
  3. Prime rib for x-mas, turkey for Thanksgiving and seafood for New Years
  4. .........I'll probably read it after getting home from my brothers place, if is not to late!
  5. .......... Okay, I'll bite! Many years ago I was in charge of a small construction crew, revising drawings, scheduling their work.... etc. Problem with this small company of 15 employees was the owner. He was very incompetent. While my pay wasn't bad, his paying us was! It seemed every payday we would have to rush to the bank to cash our checks, before his funds were depleted, as it happened to a few employees. After about 2 months of this rushing to the bank to be first in line, he called a meeting for everyone. After going through upcoming projects (only 2) he started in a pep talk about how well everything was going and stated that he couldn't see why all of us could be buying new cars at the end of the year (this was October) I could not contain myself and burst out laughing in his ashen face, hoe ludicrous, and how stupid did he think we were? Even his son smirked a little during my laughter, I laughed so hard I had tears coming down my eyes while the room wa silent. Of course the meeting broke up and the manager came in (why he had a manager, I'll never figure out?) And told me I was fired, of course I knew that the moment I had the outburst in the meeting. Good thing too, I was hired by the City the next month and his business failed in January. The owner came into the city one day I had the pleasure of having him as a customer when he came in for a building permit for a patio cover. He couldn't resist telling me that 'draftsman' were a dime a dozen, I told him I felt the same way about contractors!!
  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAN!!
  7. .......An oldie but a goody, I'm rather fond of the Jimmy Stewart classic 'It's A Wonderful Life'
  8. Thanks all!
  9. .............If as Chrisjones claims that the tape could have been already played, and we already know that Trevor and Shane have already seen the tape. How could Bridget not know that the tape can be played on an Aussie recorder? So the wrench is thrown in here, if Bridget is aware of this then what Trevor told Julie was a total lie and Bridget is already aware of this, or she is not savvy on technology. Not sure if the timeline in this saga allowed the technology or not to explain this. if true and Bridget was aware she would immediately move to kill Trevor and Shane and the boat. This is a sit and wait game, I see Julie being held hostage in her home by the cartel while they wait for Trevor to return and use Julie as the lure. In a finally act of loyalty or remorse she hints to Trevor of danger and he nearly avoids landing. With the cartel in hot pursuit, and Trevor getting the 30-06 ready in deeper waters. Sorry the spoiler button does not work for me!
  10. ..................You could have mentioned that tidbit about 20 chapters ago!!
  11. ............ Well, my prediction of Julie was right on, as I suspected her a long time ago! Grey has his escape plan already formulated and Bridget no longer has any contacts to the Aussie underworld. I'm going to guess his fate maybe be decided by one of those deadly creatures the goat told us about, just.an accidental death by fate. Julie isn't as cosy with Bridget as we were led to believe, the way she formally addressed became clear she was just an underling. Even though she betrayed Trevor, I'm sure the goat will find a soft spot in his heart and allow her to escape Bridget's clutches. NOT!! I am curious why Trevor and Shane would stick around though? After all mission accomplished, although that could tip Julie off if they don't check back in with her with the tape. Great chapter CJ!

    Chapter #14

I'm very glad to see another chapter up, funny how you had Jacob hitting rock bottom in the last chapter and being lifted up in this one, then reversing it for his father Bill. I really think Thomas is secretly gay, why Kyle and Jacob didn't figure this out already, is a mystery. This is a journey indeed, I think faith is going to come in play here later on after all.
  13. Oh man! I saw some betrayal coming, but to give Pasha to Michae'l!! Gabriel is truly devious, if it wasn't for the bird, Pasha's betrothed would still be out of commission. I'm guessing that by the short length of these chapters this will be a short story. Nice to another chapter though! LOL!
  14. ............... We don't know what Trevor and Shane talked about before heading north, but Trevor had a plan I suspect it was to smoke out problems. I'd guess he now suspects everyone including Grundig and wants to play this out in his hunch. If he no longer has the tracker and only tells Grundig his destination. If Julie greets him and I'm sure she will, which will surprise him he will be on high alert. Think about it, Julie was Bridget's room mate in college and a lifelong friend , if she is part of the cartel, she has the islands she coveted. Trevor will not reveal to here the 'tape' that would be stupid, however the doll comes into play. What if the Aussies blubbed out they found the tape in that doll? Only way I can see that is if Trevor confesses to Fowler about it. But who does he trust right now? Besides I'd really like to see armor piercing rounds from a 30-06 in action on a boat!!
  15. ..........Prelude ....a preliminary to an action, event, condition, or work of broader scope and higher importance. (Source dictionary) Sounds like something is being set up in motion to offer the betrayal to me, and right now who could that be in this chapter?
  16. ........ Well there a couple of things here, Grundig was kept in the dark because of job security of Trevor by Fowler, yet acknowledged no surprise or the fact that he had already deduced that Trevor was related to Fowler. 2dly we knew that there was an insider in the police force for the cartel. Who could be more perfectly entrenched then Gundig? Grundg has now gained the confidence, or thinks he has, as Trevor has now deduced that something doesn't add up right. The Julie thing has 3 scenerios; 1. She meets & greats Trevor unexpectedly out at sea and invites him to her dock. - Trevor is sure be wary here after all Julie and Bridget were friends. 2. Trevor tries to initiate contact with Julie to resolve the issue with Bridget, don't seeing that happening Trevor now knows Bridget is part of the cartel. 3. What if Trevor tells Grudig that the tracer has been floated away at a bearing of south sot west and that he is still bearing the eastward route to the canal. I see this scenario happening, Trevor escapes from Tahiti, is being chased by Bridget's people and calmly shoots up the boat of theirs with the 30-06 causing it to sink. Why else was that weapon being brought into attention if not being used? My thoughts1
  17. ...............Only if Trevor memorized it, remember Trevor lost everything when the pirates stripped Atlantis.
  18. ....................I always thought Julie was involved with Bridget, but I could be wrong too! Right now Trevor has no way to communicate with Julie, but if she is involved and Grundig is also involved. She could be expecting them IF Trevor lays out his plan to Gunddig. That should alert Trevor that should she meets them either accidentally or on purpose.Remember Bridget still has a hit squad in New Zealand, how fast could she fly them to Tahiti? The boy's might be a bit alarmed if Julie try's to per-sway them to stay a few days, since Trevor has taking an alarm mode. If Julie is a safe mode or a motherly type one, why has the goat taken us there? The boys have already floated the idea of placing the tracker on a raft to Grundig, so their whereabouts are no where to be seen unless they voice it. Grundig is the prelude and Julie is the Betrayal.
  19. ..............Mike this is all fun and games to me, I'm aware of the evil goats mind and this would not surprise me of this scenario of Grundig. Yep, no evidence at all, but he was 2nd closest to Greg in knowing the whereabouts of Trevor. The fact that Greg did not give him Trev's satellite number until the last encounter, and the mention of his glazed eyes. Someone in the police force has been feeding the cartel information all this time. So check this out, if Trevor tells Grundig of their actual heading and meets up with Julie, only to find Bridget's hit squad waiting for them, how did anyone know where they were heading if Trevor sent the tracking device afloat? Julie may not be the bad person and wave Trevor off the island she is at. I see the 30.06 coming into play as Bridget's men try to overtake the boat. So fun and games while we wait for the next chapter, from a deranged goat brain!!
  20. ............. I'm thinking that Grundig has got their confidence and to do so had them locate the tracking device. He has their satellite phone number and can now track it, therefore he effectively has a new tracking device. Grundig already knew there was a tracking device aboard and had used the contacts to confirm it to cover his tracks. He is sweating bullets here, because he doesn't want to be where he is, he didn't mind supplying information but is discomforted by being exposed, maybe caught and being involved in Trevor and Shane's demise. The 'Prelude to Betrayal' may allude to forbearance to another betrayal, but I believe it has already started with Grundig, in setting up the boys with Julie.
  21. ............Hey Nephy, Nice to see another chapter, Gabriel does have other motives, primarily it is to get Uzzy, back into this battle. I guess his secondary reason is for his own selfish motive of wanting Uzzy for himself. Looking forward to another chapter soon!
  22. ......................Exactly!! Grundig's entrance at this late in the game came only mean an ominousness foretelling of betrayal. As the title forecasted. Once being the information officer, he is know being thrust into to the eliminate mode of Trevor and Shane. He is very uncomfortable in this mode. But, his telling of Fowler's survival probably led to his downfall and new orders.
  23. ...................... Well, well, well it appears that the doll will play a roll after-all; “Ah, about Ned. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but the police down in Perth are on the track of that doll he found on Kookaburra and sold. The bad news is that it was sold again, about a year ago, at an auction. It was a cash sale, so no record of the buyer. I'm betting it will play a roll with the tape being discovered inside it by the Aussie's, hopefully Trev and Shane will not mention it to know else but Greg. “I was told to speak to you alone. The long and the short of it is, the police have had some more success in rolling up the operation that tried to bomb you. They’ve got the one who planted the bomb, though he was killed after taking a few shots at officers. The diver may have been shot dead, but Grundig seems to allude that it was the 'person responsible for the attack'. His glazed eyes betray him Okay, that is a is likely a lie, but Grundig now has the resources, and with Greg kept at bay from making calls and getting Trevor's satellite number he has control of the situation. I have no doubt Gray will be killed by operatives because he is now known to the police. But also to his failure of blowing up the Kookaburra... if Grundig is involved! Steve I think you hit it on the nose about Grundig being involved with the underworld, I also think the doll will play an important role in this. I also believe Julie will reappear in this saga, if she is friend or foe is up in the air, if she decides that Bridget is facing a downfall she may abandon ship with her, if not more worries for Trevor. Okay, Grundig does seem to be taking control here and taking the situation under his control. This maybe significant if the boys reveal the are headed to Fiji and he has gained their trust and has not elevated there further fears. He has further gained their confidence by basically leading them to the tracking device. I think that Steve was right, as well as myself in portraying Gundrig, Julie and the doll into play in this saga!
  24. ..........Nope I hate crowds, and would never venture into that foray.
