  1. ................. Yes it did, Hummm, no comments on Circumnavigation 80?
  2. ...... The trial will be enough of a sequel for me, but don't break up Jason and Peter!!
  3. .......... I agree, Logan has been exposed, (but he should be in counseling) Great chapter answering a lot of questions, good job Nephy!
  4. ......... Now I know why Shane's and Trevor's attentiveness are amiss, the goat suffers the same affliction!
  5. ...............Will there be a squeal to 2nd Shot?
  6. ................ You may be on to something Steve; “Sounds to me like your nightmares are a sort of panic attack, or they bring them on. Don’t worry, you don’t need to face them alone anymore,” Shane said, And of course that means he will have to start sleeping with Trevor . Shane gave Trevor a bashful look, his cheeks coloring. “We’ll leave on Sunday’s daylight high tide. Sorry Trev, I guess I sorta lost count of the days and didn’t realize.” Shane does seem to be distracted a lot lately, tables turn? ‘I wish I could tell you all of it, Trev, but you’re probably leaving too...’ Shane thought, feeling very much alone as his mind wandered off towards sleep. Yep, Shane is definitely keeping secrets. ...... moving his right hand slightly, extending his fingertips slowly on Trevor’s pec, and then stopping abruptly, mumbling in a sour tone, “Until you go, at any rate.” Shane took his time applying Trevor's sunscreen... he realized that he had an opportunity to tease Shane for being forgetful. Trevor began to turn, saying, “You’d probably forget your head if it weren't attached..." Speedos don’t hide much, and Trevor noticed instantly that Shane was hard..... . ‘But it’s different with Shane and me. If I do it, he’d know it’s due to me being turned on by him. He’s as accepting as hell, but no straight guy would be that accepting. Even Joel would probably freak out over that,’ Trevor thought. Yep, that's what I thought too, no str8 guy would be that accepting. Shane gave Trevor a faint smile, their eyes were still locked, their hands still joined. How are they going to keep playing this game with 3 extra days together and alone? Great chapter CJ, too many hints about Shane to beleive he is straight.
  7. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hahaha! Humm, where to begin here? I believe that Rachel and Dirk did not believe that the authorities could protect them from the cartel and Bridget, so they planned to make a disappearance of the only connection being that of Rachel and the Aries, after all who had the only MOTIVE to seek out Rachel here. It was Bridget that feared the discovery would undo her and still to this day she is still trying to protect herself herself from incriminating evidence that may be brought up by Trevor, Joel or Lisa that is non-existent. But she does not know that is still under the assumption that Dirk killed his wife with a bomb explosion aboard the Aries. We all know that Dirk cannot even get on a small craft without getting seasickness, so how the hell did he not only plot to destroy a vessel at sea but manage to place enough material aboard to blow her up completely . Dirk had no knowledge on how to completely destroy the boat or any boat as a matter of fact. (remember his and Jim's liaison happened years later after Rachel's disappearance). He did know enough to try and sabbatage the Atlantis by removing the glow plugs from her engines, but that was all. The debris left by the Aries was miniscule by Bridget's own words, how is that possible? Should have been many pieces found at the site because they were mostly floatation in nature. It sounds of a set up to me, Rachel and Dirk arranged this fake death to protect Trevor from danger from the cartel, should they ever had discovered their findings of Arnold's holdings in the Aries which Rachel found. I believe after Trevor escapes another attempt on his life he will meet his mother, and after the 3 attempts on his life will take her actions as being self sacrifice for for self preservation. Hahaha! now I believe Crocodile Dundee appears hear in the form of one of the relatives, harboring the boys in the backwoods from the villains. (Notice several references to the Atlantis being drug inland?)
  8. ................. I'm ever mindful of Shane and his situation, he would be mindful of Trevor offering his passage to the states in lieu of payment other then as a crew member I think. Shane would be mixed feelings about being offered it, he doesn't want to lose contact with Trevor, yet does not want to be a charity case. But then again maybe Joel can convince him of doing it for Trevor's sake. I'm pretty sure the final leg of circumnavigation will be with Shane and Trevor, with Sanchez, Bridget, George tagging along to provide entertainment.
  9. ................. Still waiting on the newspaper story to break, then Trevor will have to stay hidden real low, as Sanchez will be able to locate him. That story will be international. So the question of Shane's sexuality may not come up for several more chapters, as for Shane accompanying Trevor back to Florida will have to be a case of his finances, so how fast can he write a book? Hopefully the goat won't help Shane write it, or it could be as long as Shane's 21st birthday.
  10. ...........Funny thing is that I have never witnessed a shoplifter in stores, could be that I avoid stores (the Mall) as I avoid crowds as much as I can. I did witness a rapist attempt about , hmmm 30 + years ago, I was younger then and yelled at him chased him off his intended victim. This guy was scary, had a black mask and knife when I intervened. The stupid rapist was dumb enough to have left his parked car next to my house, so the cops were pretty sure of their culprit, he was caught that night and when I saw him I recognized him, but not really knowing from where. Later at his court hearing which I had to attend, I was kinda of embarrassed, because I was the only guy there, sitting with witness's that were 13 women he had assaulted over a 2 year period . After identifying him on the stand it dawned on me where I knew of him before, he was an upperclassman of mine from my high school.
  11. ........... That is true, Bridget made Rachel a target by the government into drug smuggling. But what would make a mother abandoned her child for 10 years if she could of just handed over what she found to them? FEAR! If it got out that she turned over the papers and documents her family were at risk from the cartels wrath, she did not trust the government to protect her family. So Dirk and her came up with this plan to stage the 'accident'. Keep in mind Rachel was aware of Bridget trying to buy back the Atlantis, it would make sense that Rachel's discovery would add to her apprehension for Trevor's safety. There is no other explanation for a mother to abandon her son that worshiped her.
  12. .......... Hehehe! Now I know where I remember those 'new' haircuts of kids today came from!!
  13. .................... Great stuff here! I'm still under the belief that Rachel is not dead and the Aries is not sunk. Instead, they are both in Australia waiting for the December deadline. The biggest clue was when Dirk almost told Trevor in the heat of the moment that, after discovering that Trevor was searching for the Aries in a rage sea. He almost said to Trevor, "She's not there". What he said in chapter 7, before catching himself was; "Look, I know damn well what those coordinates are. Twenty miles northeast of Bimini, and it’s the anniversary... Trevor, you can’t... She’s not... Trev, the risk you took is foolish........ I believe Rachel took off because of what she knew put her family in danger, I believe she found the hidden compartment aboard the Aries and discovered the papers left by Arnold. A boat switch is a great idea, but would Trevor be guilty of fraud to his insurance company for accepting payment on a boat other than the Atlantis?
  14. ................Yeah Boston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. ....Nice chapter, I had already figured out Haze was going to explode, the aftermath was unexpected from his side. Ace, was diligent in reclaiming Haze. Nice to know that Logan is no longer a threat after the beating Haze gave him, I see the story winding down now, which is a good thing! The resolutions have been resolved so far with Ace and Haze attending a University together in the quick future.
  16. .............. I rarely neg anyone, In fact I give up 99% thumbs up to all stories and rarely venture into the forums to vote anyone up or down. That said the system is set up and will remain as such. There have been several instances where one or many persons have 'campaigned' against a poster and driven down their rep points, in each instance the mods have rectified it, but that is a rare instance. I guess you can live with it or complain about the system, choice is yours when you post.
  17. ........... I plan to see it Wednesday, early without a bunch of kids ruining it for me.
  18. .......Go Boston!!!
  19. ..............Great story, I hope to see future chapters of it!
  20. .................Great story Cia, I especially liked how you had the end in the beginning!!
  21. ................. We already know that the Aries and Rachel are not in Davey's locker in the Bahamas. (Dirks almost misspoke this in chapter 7) So that leaves us with the plausible switch of the boats in Rachel;s departure (although I cannot fathomed the coast guard dropping the time line here) So goat, you need to release the next chapter sooner the a week. Whoops the question thing!! Who is still doing dive tours in the islands off Australia (Julie) and what is her role here?
  22. ........................... :worship: I applaud your vigilance in mapping out this prologue, which I was under the assumption it was all the narrator (which cannot lie) thus not being open to a interruption that the 'mayday call could have been false. But wouldn't have someone noticed that the mayday call came a couple of days after her charter that she ended on the 25th, which she filed a route plan with? And why was it not brought up? Trevor's recollections could have been the result of a 2-3 day search by the coast guard, ending with the conclusion that his Mom was lost at sea. That is why the I think the sedans were parked there at Trevor's home, I could be wrong, and like your analogy, but there are points not fully addressed here.
  23. ...............Yep, said the same thing.
