  1. .....................Yikes!!! I completely forgot to take the Steve (The evil Shadowyness) factor into this! Your right Steve! (Wildone) The plot could very well be unraveled while the goat is out playing! Would his Shadowyness be that evil as to plot such treachery upon the goat?
  2. ............... Yes he is, He glanced down at the documents in his hand: the sales contract and title transfer for the Ares, which Bridget Bellevue had given him. I find it odd that the police did not discover this before, of course the date and signature of the sale are important because, Rachel owned the boat; The Ares was hers, paid off in full. Coupled with the fact that they were having martial problems; Ever mindful of the legalities, especially in light of their recent troubles, she and Dirk had taken title to Atlantis in the name of their son, Trevor. Sounds like Dirk and Rachel had already started to split up the properties ahead of the impending divorce. In the end, Rachel had her way. She would run the charters and Dirk would run the chandlery. Bridget has handed Officer Gonzales the sales papers now; "The county recorder's office has confirmed those sales papers I told you about. They're real, and that puts a whole new spin on things because it's a direct connection between the cases." The only link I can think of is that Bridget's late husband was handling the divorce. Joel is cruel to Trevor, throwing his boxers and boardies across the room so that Joel would have to get up naked to use the bathroom, Haha! It looks like Jim means no harm to Trevor, or he wouldn't go the Police Station, again confirming my belief that he is there to talk to Trevor and confirm that he alive and well for the police back home. Great chapter CJ! Looking forward to more!!
  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTIN!!! ........................Hope it was a good one!!!
  4. ...................I voted for other, for some strange reason the 'goats' name was missing from the poll!
  5. ...............Haha! Great April fools joke!!
  6. Happy Birthday Lugh .....................Hope it is a good one Lugh!!!
  7. .................Hmmmm! I guess we could always ask a certain echidna about that!!
  8. ......................Here is my take on this! And Jim and Dirk have been meeting each other weekly for 2 years, hummm, not for coffee cake and chess I would think!
  9. ............. I agree, that was mean!!! Another hint at Dirk and Jim's relationship? 'As soon as Dirk had closed the door, Jim peeked out from the kitchen and nodded at the packed bags. Why does Dirk have so much clothes at Jim's place?' Later as Jim is at Dirk's home, which Jim knows the security code; 'It only took him a few seconds to find what he was after: a photo of Trevor. Jim removed the picture from its frame and slipped it into his briefcase, alongside the radio. He then looked for, and found, a photo of Atlantis.' Clearly Jim is not taking a suitcase of clothes with him, just his briefcase. So all the clothes packed were Dirks. Looks like he plans on a quick trip, but if he plans to hire someone to look for Trevor, why does he have the binoculars? It looks like Jim is going to hunt Trevor down himself. 'He glanced at his briefcase, and thought, 'Dirk, in light of what you told me, this is imperative. It's the only way, and you could never do it yourself. That leaves me...' That last thought of Jim clearly is worthy of a certified cliffhanger chapter!!!! Great chapter CJ!
  10. Happy Birthday Pai-Kun!! ...............Have a great one!
  11. ..........Errr! Are you referring to yourself or to CJ?
  12. ..............Duh, nOt trying to claim some sort of award here, but I knew the dude was gay way back when! No surprise!
  13. ..........Yeah, you would of thought he'd have learned to say 'cliffhanger' by now!
  14. .................Humm, and here I was wondering where Eric from FTL went! New Jersey!
  15. ..................'I'm not sold on Dirk and Jim being a couple just yet. Is it suspicious? Sure, but I noticed the goat has been rather vague on a number of details. Not once has either of them spoken to the other in a manner that would befit a lover. For all we know, Dirk has been going there weekly for legal advice, or to smoke Jim's special cigar.' Yeah, Jim's special cigar :lmao: I believe Dirk and Jim are indeed a couple., why else would Jim even venture into this saga? Jim has no reason to involve himself into Dirks life otherwise! Why fly to Naples on behalf of Dirk's son? Clearly Jim intends to clear Dirk of wrongdoing on Trevors demise.
  16. ...............Took some searching but maybe this answers one of your questions Steve! 'While on duty, harbour master
  17. ..........Yep, for two years Dirk and Jim get together once a week to talk about civil case's! Cliffhanger free? I think not, Jim getting involved sets a unprecedented take off of the usual goats tales Misdirection, is the ploy here by the goat, Bridget is still the main antaganist in the story, not Dirk or love-sick Jim! I see cliffs ahead in the next chapter filled with cliff dwelling goats!
  18. ............But you did not report on the story itself, shame on you Sandra! The goat gives you a cliff, yet you don't try to hang in there!
  19. ...............Interesting chapter, Joel seems to be more comfortable at being gay then Trevor does! Ah, poor Trevor couldn't pull one over on Joel, but I believe he will get his chance at it later on. Goats show up at the weirdest times! Talk about being thrown a curve ball, I didn't see Jim as a player in this mystery! You would think that the cops are well aware of Dirk and Jim (yep, the goat keeps hinting at a relationship, and with Dirk packing his clothes, another hint) after all the GPS led his car right to Jim's house, so wouldn't they keep an eye on Jim also? After Lisa's talk with the detective, I'm sure he will be aware of Trevor's location in Italy. So Jim heading there is bound to draw more suspicion, plus he will have to declare that he is bringing $20,000 dollars into the country. I think the goat is misdirecting us again, throwing us off of Bridget, Jim is probably just hiring a private detective to nail hunt down Trevor.
  20. ..............Hahaha! I actually glossed over that typo, not knowing your going to use it!
  21. .................. ???? And mountain goats don't hang around cliffs either!!
  22. .............Could be, I don't recall reading if he cashed in an insurance policy though! He is definitely guilty of lying.
  23. ..................Dirk is guilty of not coming clean with his son about his mothers fate, his on-going relationship with Jim (Yes, they are defiantly together and Dirk is gay). The mid-week meetings, the memorized phone number, the hundreds of phone calls and the reluctance to introduce Jim to Trevor! Has he done something illegal? Could be, why else is he not telling his lover/lawyer the full story? I suspect Dirk and his wife made a pact together and swore not to tell anyone until a certain date.
