....I'm a bit baffled that the clothes issue was not brought up, also a few in here think this is the beginning of the break-up when all I see is the relationship mending itself. Knowing that this is going into another book, I will take the stance that Rune is good for Scott's mom and her healing will not be detrimental in his leaving to pursue his career or she will unexpectedly die and Rune will be there to help him pick up the pieces. He is over 18 now, and looks to have a promising career, BTW how did he do in the last photo project he undertook before his trek with Rune through the grapevine fields? So that said, his mom needs resolution here, either by death or recovery, I see the former. The baggage he carries will be more then equal to the one Rune carries, that is the real point in the story. Their griefs finally imploded on each other, and their solance found with each other.

Later Captain Ali wonders why someone so young would have done to garner such enmity (indeed why was his mission to include a hostile action, as in such kill Trevor? Why not just strip the ship and leave?) No, this has Sanchez's fingerprints all over it.

Forget the dream sequence, this is a real nightmare for Trevor, I can only guess that he will get a burst of adrenaline for one more chance at surviving. Making it to a fallen tree in the water has merits and is believable, the fate of the Atlantis is less certain, perhaps a navy ship will head towards them being curious as why the catamaran is being taken apart scaring off Captain Ali. One can hope greed takes it's toll on the crew aboard the trawler, maybe a little blood in the water for Captain Ali to swim in.

...........That is the most evil cliffhanger of all time!! You will definitely get my vote this year! Leaving our young hero in such a perilous situation!!! Assuming he came overcome his bonds and get back aboard to retrieve his handgun and take out a few pirates. He is now left blind to sail to Australia, unless he is able to retrieve his stolen equipment, still his mast are chainsawed down. Will he be able to take over the trawler and keep the Atlantis secured to it for the voyage? Or will an Egyptian ship appear out of no where? Or an American ship? Oh yeah, I noticed that the weight belt had a quick release but in the front, can Trevor twist it to his rear and release it? And perhaps doing a gymnast move and bringing the strapped hands back to the front via the under the legs move. Getting back onboard and well............... The biggest evil cliffhanger of the year!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the chapter CJ!

......Absolutely awesome!! Thanks for sharing your collection of cliffs CJ, strangely absent are goats that are known to inhabit said cliffs. (I also noted there were no pictures of the grand canyon or Yosemite)

So Scott was unknowingly walking around in all his glory I guess his surprised mom will clue him in when he gets home. I'm going to take a guess that Rune was unaware because he is so used to it! ...........I agree, Cory may feel that he was bush whacked by Brett and Jake. It will take a lot of work by both them to convince Cory they did not mean to keep him out of the decision process that they came up with. ............Nice chapter, still we have unresolved issues at the older generation mark. Why do I get the sense that it will be forced and resolved in the next chapter for acceptance of these two teens? Oh well blood is thicker then water as they say, and I think this will turn out for the better (next chapter will tell all) Thanks for FINALLY getting off another chapter!!
