  1. ......................Synchronicity; an apparently meaningful coincidence in time of two or more similar or identical events that are causally unrelated. My guess is the 'low' pressure front which is keeping Trevor continuing south while the the roaring forties are being left behind. By the time Trevor breaks free of it, he will be in the furious fifties.

    ..............I'm amazed at this one
  3. ............Absolutely, I need pockets for my cell, keys and wallet. I'd refuse to have a man-purse!!
  4. ..............I might agree, however it seems that you left us a hell of a cliffhanger in 'Are You Christian' yourself!!
  5. .........Well true he has his circumnavigation and you have you're Mountie!!
  6. ..........Ditto, congrats Cia!!!
  7. ............Ok, I'll bite what happens when you hit on a Mountie? (Do you get mounted?)
  8. ......The low sail mast and the water he will not be able to expel due to upcoming conditions will keep him low in the water, he is unlikely to capsize because of it. The wind will punish but push the boat in the direction he needs to go. The question is, will he still be able to eat and maintain his safety in the journey in what surely will be one with little sleep and great upheavals. I foresee at least one trip into the drink along this voyage, maybe he can find some respite in one of the remaining cabins to get sleep and shelter during his long ordeal.
  9. ..........That made my day! Funny!!
  10. .............. Hmmm did Bridget sputter there! Nothing on Dirk and Jim. Looks like that Bridget and George want to up the ante by framing Lisa and Joel too early. I would not have guessed that Trevor would have added sails from the skull of the already ripped up boat to partake into the easterlies towards Australia (well maybe). Hopefully he can stay on the north end of those seas. Unless Graeme convinces him that the southern cross is correct as he stated before!! I'm glad that Lisa finally has some suspicions on Bridget, Trevor was not one to announce his sexuality, will other things finally click in her head? Or will she finally get that weird feeling about Bridget when she does a bit of time in the county jail to figure it out? It looks like Trevor is eastbound or bust towards Australia, will he escape the jaws of death? Or skirt them? Great chapter CJ!! P.S. Another thing has me puzzled here is that not only does Bridget confess that she is aware that Trevor is gay, but I don't beleive she she knew that they (Lisa & Joel) were aware that she knew of the canal bomb that was linked to Trevor. Big opps! especially if Gonazales questions them after the aborted planted drug bust..
  11. ............But yeah! Trevor made improvised sails that sailed south along the winds, Ali's boat was large and had no such advantage at traveling at the same speed as Trevor had. Trevor's boat was smaller and faster and with sails. Ali's is dead in the water, floating, I doubt they could meet at the speed between them given Trevor's mast. so how do the twain meet?
  12. ...........But what is wrong with that?????
  13. ........How the hell could Trevor turn the boat back around to the north? He is sail bound by the prevailing winds which last I saw were southerly. If he could redirect north towards Ali's boat why would he not just head back towards Reunion? Remember Trevor was sailing, Ali's boat was adrift, no way they could make up that much distance of 10 days or more. UNREAL interesting Idea though, revenge by Trevor!!!
  14. ........Wow, a lot of you guys have a lot of history! I have never checked passed what I knew of, my father's dad was a 100% Irish immigrant to the US, my grandmother on his side was a French-Canadian. (Since we have never had any contact with that side of the family, that is all I know). My mothers father and family were expelled from Spain (Jewish) settled in Costa Rica, before re-settling in San Fransisco. My mother's father married my grandmother there, she died young. My father and mother met and married in Las Vegas. Sidenote; All my relatives on my mothers side are gone, I'm not sure of my father's side, they would have nothing to do with us since they were Irish Catholics and my mother was Jewish. We last saw only of of my 'Uncles' from my fathers side at my grandmothers funeral. He refused to talk to us, and refused to give any of us old pictures of my father. May he rest in hell!!! (Not my Father)
  15. ............... .... Is Steve responsible for Trevor's dilemma??? He could most likely have made Reunion had it not been for the wandering north star that is in Steve's neck of the woods. Blame Canada, blame Steve for setting the goat up for a cliffy!
  16. .................Quit starting those rumors again!!
  17. ..........You are right, the limitations run out on the 16th, they thought it best to emancipate Trevor on the 17th!
  18. ............Not to worry, the next chapter will out on time! Dec. 17 is the date of the expiration of the statutes of limitations.
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIGER!!! ...........Have a great one
  20. .......That is what I'm thinking here, Trevor is going for broke here, the Atlantis is dead to him. Her only salvation to him may be her demise, it is an insane move but desperation calls for a desperate act, floating between the last two islands. Trevor may have no choice to either sink or swim here, the pool noodles are the key to his supposed survival, the fiery end to the Atlantis is his signal, the jaws of death are his chances of a rescue accruing. If it fails, then all is lost! Still I am wondering about the fiberglass roof of the boat though, what significance could it have in the goats hint. I don't see Trevor making another sail out of her, but could the curved downward part of the roof give him a different sail proportion? I don't think he needs to slice this up, I think maybe he only needs to unsnap it from it's placement, kinda of like removing a window from its glazing. Whatever the answer here it is plain to see that he cannot travel back north and his destination is south by the winds direction. Taking the current to Australia is a slow kill for him, so it makes sense that he will continue south in hopes of attracting attention there. The jaws of death, to do or not to do, the flip of the coin is the destiny of this travel.
  21. ...............I think he looking at his dropped sun glasses as they skitter down the cliff side!!
