  1. ........... But of course the goat trails along the cliff-side of perilous hills leading through a mined field can't be deemed a cliffhanger??? Hmmm, I may have saw that one coming to an extent. But don't be mislead by Bridget's comments, (nor the wily goats misdirection) remember Bridget believes Dirk murdered his wife. Therefore if Trevor found the wreck with of the Aries with no sabotage it could clear Dirk, bringing back the spotlight of her husband's murder back to her. With the Aries still lost, and Trevor's planned demise in the Atlantis under the same mysterious circumstances. The focus goes back to Dirk! BTW anyone else notice how much time off Detective Alford seems to have? Running between islands like he has been doing of late? Australia is still the key to one mystery, Lisa and Joel will find answers to another! Great Chapter CJ!!! Glad to see that Trevor has made some money for his 'explosive' work!
  2. ...........................Hahaha! WHO???
  3. .............That was utterly fantastic!
  4. .................. Did you not catch the inference by Bridget when she was talking to Detective Alford about getting the 'noose' of his head in the investigation?
  5. ................ Damn Sam is a real bitch!!!! Her friendship with Billy is very complicated! Billy standing up to his dad was a major stance, one that I hope he continues. What is up with his dad? Maybe someone should tell him to take that stick out of his ass. David's uncle visiting may shake things up, especially if William gets wind that Uncle Scott is gay! Looking forward to more! Great chapter.
  6. .... It is tough situation, but it happened to me once, I saw a toddler obviously lost, or just exploring I immediately got the attention of others in the area, and as a group finally found the frantic mother. But I can see why the unfortunate hesitation of these two men in light of allegations being blown out of proportion.
  7. ....................... Hmmmm! now on to the chapter at hand (silly, goats can't swim, but are known to traverse through cliffs) Bridget again has let slip to an ignorant Lisa too many facts of Dirks and Rachel's impending divorce that I don't think she had from conversations with Lisa. Either way, Lisa should start to wonder how Bridget came about that information. 'Needful one?' 'Possible Need' Bridget seems to adhere to the old adage of keeping your freinds close and your enemies closer. Ah, so Bridget now thinks it is time to call in the calvary, her associates, I fear for Joel's and Lisa' life in upcoming chapters. The guesthouse is a trap and will probably be bugged. BTW, great chapter CJ!
  8. ............. Not quite, Dirk only mentioned the Aires in passing to Trevor ... almost blurting out that she was not there in reference to Trevor's annual search in the Bihimas. He never disclosed in the chapter of the whereabouts of the Aires to Jim. Too me Dirk's fear of the water is closely related to his fear of the Bermuda triangle, frankly anywhere in the water raises his fears, so it may be just biased on his part.
  9. Happy Birthday,Tarin! ...........Have a good one!!!
  10. .......Nice story Cia, the Photography angle was there in it, the impulse at the end was surprising!
  11. ................. Damn that was one hell of a story! It moved me and frankly was a dark reality I wish I had no intention of visiting!
  12. .........Very interesting story Graeme! I found the ending more enlightening, the escapism from reality by Adam is the most reveling of the point of the story. Sadly the twist is, that is the reality of too many kids!
  13. .........Great story Comsie! Loved that Riley followed through for 30+ years and surprising with Asher at his side.
  14. ............... Great story, I was almost waiting to hear HAL to start speaking near the end
  15. ....................Errrr! Have you noticed the difference from the 'catamaran the Ares, a fifty-five foot charter boat, and a thirty-nine foot Sea Ray powerboat." Currently named on the stern, 'Sea Witch' so guess other then the engines what can be salvaged?
  16. .......... Hey Nightowl! Interesting chapter, bringing in the dark psyche of Tom was move I did not expect here! Obviously hangs on to the notion that the most reverent of faith sometimes have much deeper issues in themselves. Tom has surpassed that in his denial to profess as much, to counter his feelings against his beliefs that come out very warped . I'm guessing he lost the war within himself in repudiating his sexuality and cried out before committing either act. His 'prey' antagonists became his salvation in his warped mind world by retribution back at him, it is actually hard to believe that Tom would have sought help.... but then again there is Max! Definitely a hero in the saga, putting his life in jeopardy to salvage that of a disillusioned Tom.
  17. .......Errr! No the Sea Witch is not a catamaran; From the early part of chapter 27; "The only vantage point Lisa could see was a view between some waterfront houses. She drove by slowly, looking intently at the thirty-nine foot Sea Ray powerboat." From that angle, she could see the name currently on the stern, 'Sea Witch' ...........and earlier in the prologue; "'Rachel had proved herself well suited for the task. Three years later, flush with cash from her very profitable businesses, Rachel, with Dirk's reluctant consent, had purchased Atlantis, a second catamaran identical to Ares.' Trevor taking on another passenger to help him sail sounds like fun! But I recall CJ saying something to the effect that part of the voyage will go by quick, I doubt he wrote in another character for the voyage to Australia.
  18. Happy Birthday Bob! ..............Have a great one!!!
  19. ............I guess I'm just a non-violent person!!
  20. ...................Lame Towelie!! LOL!!
  21. ................... Very sad indeed! I only knew him a short time before he got to the point he couldn't post anymore. His unicorn poem should have been made into a poster. I still have it somewhere in here. He was a very strong caring individual.
  22. ...............Sadly, very true, this happened to me! I was forced to retire, although I only accessed GA mostly for chat a few years ago at work! Add one more thing to this, if someone sends you a racy or even a near nude pic, delete it immediately from your computer. I forgot to do that and it was the nail in my forced retirement. Of course everyone at work was doing 'everything' under the sun on the company computers at work, but the management got rid of the two most senior workers, and warned the others.
  23. .............Except for one thing in the prologue; 'Rachel had proved herself well suited for the task. Three years later, flush with cash from her very profitable businesses, Rachel, with Dirk
  24. .........It is cooling down here after hitting @ 109 a couple days ago, only 102 now!!
  25. ...............We finally have a time line June, 2006 If the Tsunami is the same one as the 12/26/2005, Hmm if school doesn't start until September, Joel can stay a couple more months! Bridget does seem to have a faulty memory, how could she confuse Atlantis with the Ares, when they both know the Ares went missing ten years ago? And seeing Bridget had once owned two of only twenty Lagoon 55 ever made, how can she claim to have not recognized it? Will Lisa finally see the inconsistencies in Bridget's stories? I wonder if she will tell Trevor, and between them draw conclusions! Great Chapter CJ!
