  1. .................Now, now Jim is only going to pull out his ID to show to Trevor, err Joel! I do believe Bridget is involved in a Drug smuggling ring, that would explain the boat coming and going. It could also tie in to the unsolved drug murder Detective Gonzales is working on. Anyone else get the idea that Jim is working for the same law firm owned by Bridget's late husband? It would explain a lot, the information being given to Detective Gonzales and the mysterious e-mail to Jim, sounds like Bridget is playing the puppet master here. It would seem that someone is tracking either Lisa's or Joel's cell phone calls and keeping tabs of the location the phone calls are being made from. Again Bridget advises Trevor and Joel to keep phone contact for the next few days, she also told Lisa to keep in phone contact with them, that the next few days were to be critical. I see danger ahead for Trevor, Joel and possibly Jim. I also think Senior Detective Alfred is Bridget's inside contact in the police department, I suspect he is a dirty cop too, he carefully chooses his words when talking to Detective Gonzales. And I notice that both he and Bridget kept referring to Dirk as a possible serial killer, they both seem to be pushing Gonzales towards Dirk, and Dirk only as the only suspect in several murders.
  2. ............ ........ I blame his Shadowyness, he has run amok in the cliffs!
  3. ...........I agree, I've heard what the next county over from us did to an elderly woman and kept the family from seeing her. The story reprinted in the NY paper adds credibility to it.
  4. ...........Very funny James!
  5. .................. Great story!! Rings of poetic justice for the wanna be pastor!
  6. ....Yes, now would be a good time, still need a tally though!
  7. ....................Great chapter!! Bridget's husband was most likely the seller of the Aires; 'Rachel had approached the owner, more out of curiosity than anything, and found that, due to half the proceeds being assigned to his soon-to-be ex wife, he claimed he would be happy to see the catamaran go for far less than her book value.' ..........I wonder if when the goats away, do the shadows play? Could his Shadowyness have slipped in the references to the cliffs and the goat cheese? With all that swimming I don't think Joel and Trevor face the danger of getting fat, and one of them is going to have to swim back for the Zodiac to load the groceries up. I think the person most in danger now is Lisa, because if the Bridget thinks the cops are not doing enough to her satisfaction, she may have an attempt on Lisa's life with suspicion pointing at Dirk.
  8. Happy Birthday, Anton!! ...................Hope you have a good one!!
  9. .............Yes, I have said a prayer too! (like they were answered the last time too!)

  11. ..............Another great chapter, I see those two are getting ready to 'out' themselves soon. Best scene was the last one, for Beth!! I was waiting for her reaction and poof! Cliffhanger!!
  12. ............. I probably won't see it, simply because I don't like Jim Carrey movies!
  13. ....................I plan to! Err! When I can find it!
  14. ............Well, I liked the story myself, the ending was errrrr! slightly sudden with a lot of questions unanswered! But on the plus side Krista finished a story!!!
  15. ...........Yep, clue in HLS (Home Land Security) too, he will be wearing sunglasses in darkened areas of the terminal too!
  16. ..............Dastardly Goat, Goat dastardly. Hummmm! Not much of a choice there to make a conclusion!!
  17. .....................Yikes!!! I completely forgot to take the Steve (The evil Shadowyness) factor into this! Your right Steve! (Wildone) The plot could very well be unraveled while the goat is out playing! Would his Shadowyness be that evil as to plot such treachery upon the goat?
  18. ............... Yes he is, He glanced down at the documents in his hand: the sales contract and title transfer for the Ares, which Bridget Bellevue had given him. I find it odd that the police did not discover this before, of course the date and signature of the sale are important because, Rachel owned the boat; The Ares was hers, paid off in full. Coupled with the fact that they were having martial problems; Ever mindful of the legalities, especially in light of their recent troubles, she and Dirk had taken title to Atlantis in the name of their son, Trevor. Sounds like Dirk and Rachel had already started to split up the properties ahead of the impending divorce. In the end, Rachel had her way. She would run the charters and Dirk would run the chandlery. Bridget has handed Officer Gonzales the sales papers now; "The county recorder's office has confirmed those sales papers I told you about. They're real, and that puts a whole new spin on things because it's a direct connection between the cases." The only link I can think of is that Bridget's late husband was handling the divorce. Joel is cruel to Trevor, throwing his boxers and boardies across the room so that Joel would have to get up naked to use the bathroom, Haha! It looks like Jim means no harm to Trevor, or he wouldn't go the Police Station, again confirming my belief that he is there to talk to Trevor and confirm that he alive and well for the police back home. Great chapter CJ! Looking forward to more!!
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTIN!!! ........................Hope it was a good one!!!
  20. ....................Tough one James? I don't think so, you are doing a time period story that reflects on society at that time. Reminds me of 'To Kill A Mockingbird' where prejudice was the theme of the story including the 'now offensive words' of that time, now in this age. Historical inferences should not be a gauge for today's moral stances, after-all, it was in fact, a historical fact of the culture at the time. No matter what the politically correct society has to say today, exposing the prejudice is a tribute to the fallacy of the ignorance of those times. Exposing the prejudice even with the language, still exposes the wrong done.
