I've heard a lot of unethical practices that came hand in hand with the one-child policy, especially in the abortion wards in China (but I don't have any verifiable sources at hand), so I don't really know if this is really "progression" as you call it. We probably need an insider's opinion on this. There are other places in Europe where population is in decline without needing the government to restrict the amount of children, where there are more people who decide to focus on careers instead of their family.

Yep, I've heard all his stuff. He has a particular style that's always evolving, and Days to Come is brilliant. His new Serpent of Old is really good too. I don't hear anything wrong with his Royskopp remix -- it has a few metal influences in there.

All specifics aside, the overall statement that this verdict makes is "if you're rich, you can get away with anything," and that's a dangerous message to endorse in. Sending him to rehab and saving some governmental money may actually be more effective than sending him to prison (I really have no idea) -- but by doing so, that doesn't tackle the root of "affluenza" at the societal level. It encourages it, and I find this very troublesome.
