    The comments are running a close second on the chapter for most entertaining! The affectations, afflictions and attributes Otis is gaining here is so fascinating. And all possible… He may end up being all the things but I think he’s endlessly practical. Matter-of-fact. One way things are done. Sheltered. He makes a good sandwich. Works with what he’s got. Likes all of customers the same. Good guy, bad spy. A very fun read.

    ‘My Susanna would make tea’ hit me hard. While Caleb and Chris find their way into a partnership Fiona and Devon are dealing with the loss of each of their own. Entirely different but loss is loss. Someone will turn to the dictionary for ‘serviettes’. Brought a smile to my face as I could hear my mum say the word. It is ‘hectic shit’ when it shouldn’t be boys. Stay strong.

    Pretty convinced that Chris is absolutely ‘not just made for playing with a ball.’ His POV is a delightful read. Sweet sweet sweet and nowhere near saccharine. You’ve spoiled your readers, this reader, with the frequency of your posts. The next, the rest, all are certainly worth waiting for.
