    I had wet eyes from the beginning of the coffee conversation but the last line got a full-on sob. Powerful. No other word for it. The way you paint each scene and setting with your words makes for a delightful and immersive read. At the time of my reading there are 748 viewers who are thankful to @AC Benus. So good to see your prose.

    I initially avoided this story simply because of the title. My mistake. Though the early pages come with darkness, both figurative and literal, surprises are waiting deeper in. No better setting for dark and light, sin and grace than Las Vegas. I will return to this story many times. Truly exceptional. I should have ignored the title and divided right in because this is Aaron Stone and he never disappoints.
