  1. Here's a clue for ya. First, count the number of "pennies". Then, figure out the synonym of "penny". It should rhyme with the last word of a "dark movie" title. Join the two words together and you'll slap yourself silly for not deciphering it sooner hehe
  2. Omg, I just participated in this a few days ago lol. I had completely forgotten about it till a conversation regarding this was brought up by a friend of mine. I'm on a holiday in Singapore and Thailand now and while everyone's doing their shopping, I'm busy with my work in my hotel room haha
  3. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I'm sure he's watching over them now, from Heaven. Even though I don't know much about him, his writings highlight his compassionate and benevolent personality. I believe that memories of him would never dissipate from the minds of those who truly love him. Rest in peace, Dan.
  4. http://us.mms.com/us/dark/dark_game.jsp How many "dark movies" can you find hidden in the picture? During my first attempt, I managed to find 44/50 "dark movie" titles in the picture within 1 hour and 30 minutes hehe. Upon second attempt, I managed to get all movie titles right within 10 minutes (albeit knowing the previous movie titles = I know, cheating by playing the game again haha)! So, let's see if you can top the scoreboard by answering all the right movie titles within the shortest possible amount of time
  5. I have been somewhat an X-file fan ever since I received a dvd set collection from a friend of mine as a birthday present The first movie was awesome! When the second movie appeared in cinemas, I was overjoyed. Without deliberation, I paid my tickets and went to watch the movie, only to come out of the cinema feeling a little weird lol. While I have heard of gay villains before, this movie seems to be a little hyperbolic in its representation of the gay community. Not that I'm saying that it's homophobic (hmmm...), but it does give somewhat of an undertone. Anyways, enough of my ramblings haha What do you think about this movie?
  6. HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY ANNA!!!
  7. Awww Emoe *hugs* I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure he'll always be around you. You dont need to come into physical contact with the person to know that he's there. I'm sorry, and I hope you're feeling better I'll pray for you and your family.
  8. Lol I think I've given up on finding Mr. Right for sometime now because I don't believe everyone's perfect. And I agree with rknapp. If there is any, join a LGBT group in your town - hopefully you'll find someone there Good luck with that
  9. Happy Birthday Sacha, aka FrenchCanadian!!!!
  10. *Gazes at the myriad of stars hanging in the night sky* I think I see a small quadrilateral constellation in the southern hemisphere near Virgo! Holy! Is that birthday cake beside you? HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! May your constellation shine brighter than any other stars at night!!!
  11. HAPPPPPPPYYYYY BIRTHDAY BEASTKID!!!! In Chinese: 生日快乐 (shēngr
  12. Hehe yeah! Didnt Sylar acquire two new abilities in this episode. Oooo what about the liquefaction ability he acquired from a victim in season 1 or the Alchemic ability from Robert Bishop? He didn't put them to good use, except to intimidate others. For instance, during episode 1, when Claire locked herself in the room, he could have liquidized the locked door to pull her out. And I totally agree with you Anna, I'm too am already bored of him slicing people's head open, but then again, it's his trademark. OOOOO can't wait to find out who Zimmerman is. And strangely, Mohinder and Maya didn't appear in the recent episode. Hmmm...
  13. Hah! That's great I hope this season would be more suspenseful. I just watched the first 2 episodes and they were, as usual, AWESOME!!!!
  14. 1) Who is your favourite hero? 2) Who is the most powerful amongst them? 3) Who would you want to be? 4) Who do you think would manifest more hidden abilities? 5) Who is the most interesting character? 6) Would Sylar prevail? Or would there be another "better villain"? 7) Where is Nikki Sanders and Micah Sanders? 8) If you were given a chance to write a scene for "Heroes", what plot would you give? Finally If you love "Heroes", run around in your room and scream "I LOVE HEROES" three times or more if you like hehehehe Cheers Jovian
  15. Awwww thank God you're all right. Don't worry about coming out to your parents yet. Focus on your health! *hugs*. I'll pray for you too
  16. Awwwwwwwwwwww You two look soooo adorable together. I really wish you guys the best of luck in the world Dont worry John, you'll get to see him again soon!
  17. Awwww *hugs everyone* hehe. I find it ironic that one of my dreams in life is to become a speech therapist hahaha. Hmmm... my teacher says I always tend to over-articulate. I guess what's important is to stop stuttering when I'm in public - it's embarrassing - especially for someone who aspires to be a speech therapist one day.
  18. I do have a habit of stuttering when I meet new people, speak in public, and when I find myself embroiled in a conflict. How often do you stutter, or don't you stutter at all?
  19. I always wanted to become an actor, but my physical limitation only allows me to move around little. *sigh* lol. I dropped out of theatre school because of that lol. When I was about 12, I wanted to become a veterinarian lol, but the sight of blood was too nauseating for me. LOL. Now that I'm in my early 20s, I'm pursuing to become a teacher and a writer LOL. Hopefully I'd be able to jump back into the theatre scene.
  20. One of the most poignant stories, or plays, I've ever read is called Romeo and Juliet (1597) by William Shakespeare. Throughout the play, the senseless feud between their families prompts their imminent deaths. Every time I watch it on television or on stage, I would bawl over their deaths, even though I know it's inevitable - sometimes I wish the next production I attend would deliver a different ending, but no matter how many times I watch, the ending will remain the same. There are many other versions of the same play, but there is a musical alluding to Romeo and Juliet called Westside Story (albeit a different ending) that modernizes the Shakespearean play. Books that present family or internal conflict always fascinate me, and the themes of love and hardship overwhelm me. Do you know of any book that touches on the theme of 'star-crossed' lovers? What do you think about such stories? I remember there's a gay short film called "Star-crossed". It's a really touching film, but it deals with incest (between 2 brothers), so I'm not sure how it fares with the gay community, lol. Here's the trailer (ignore the music, it's a little cheesy lol): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XfoUn7PexU Cheers Jovian
  21. LOL his chest hair is a sign of his masculinity. LOL, personally, I have a distaste for body hair lol. Nevertheless, he's still attractive:D
  22. Hmmm, is my name unique? Well personally, I try to avoid common names, but then again, complex names, like what you said, tend to put people off. I think my name sounds weird haha. My dad wanted to call me Jovin, but when he was registering my name, he accidentally placed the letter a right next to the letter i; thus, he named me Jovian. I think Jovian is better. I did a research and these possibilites appeared: 1) Jovian is an alien from Jupiter who vows to destroy the earth (grrr....) 2) From wikipedia: Jovian was a soldier elected Roman Emperor by the army on 27 June 363 upon the death of Emperor Julian the Apostate during his Sassanid campaign. Jovian reestablished Christianity as the unofficial religion of the Empire. (Sweeet) Well, some names carry meanings as well. For instance, in my novel, the Japanese name "Miyuki" means Silent Snow, which alludes to my title "Silence of the Deep Snow". When choosing names for your characters, decide if those names suit your characters. Calling someone by the name Angel as an assassin suggests an irony. Don't overlook names in your novel or story, as many writers do - you'll never know when they are handy. They would even provide significant hints or plot twists in your story With those said, DON'T STEAL MY NAME! hehehe. At least, if one wants to use my name, don't put me under a bad light haha.
  23. HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY DREWBIE!!!!
  24. I nearly 'died' laughing LOL. Can tickling cause calluses?????!???? LOL
  25. I'm very sensitive to tickles. Even a light touch to any part of my body except my face would send me into a giggling fit lol. I know, weird! LOL. hehe. How do you fight off this sensation? My ex-boyfriends complained about how much it was difficult to cuddle me because I would be 'squirming' with laughter lol.
