Happy to see that Joe, Ken,Tom, and now George are back as a newly formed foster family. We also have a new mystery that involves the boy's school teachers. This should be interesting to all concerned as this investigation begins. I was surprised that the school had not thought to make a police report and was just planning to just replace the teachers.

When I saw the title "Murder In Trump Tower",I got a little excited' but we are back to Larry again. 😯 Not what I expected, "Ken, and his men, found a small blood stain on the trousers of one of the executives. Subsequent DNA testing proved that it was Jason’s DNA. Their goose was cooked. They were arrested and hauled off to jail." Perhaps this case was too "open and shut". Ken and Larry together again? Not a big fan of that!

Wow,I thought for sure that a curve ball was in our future, but we got a happy ever after instead. (At least for those that survived Johns killing spree.) I hope the next stories keep the two men and Tom in the current cozy relationship.
-
John Cole has shown himself and killed Jim Canella, probably with Jim's own stolen police gun. How ironic is it that Georgie is Tom's new boyfriend and also John's brother? Then again, Jim was the father of Keith and also a member of Ken's police squad. Everything is lining up to be a solved case, I suspect @chris191070 might have a twist or two up his sleeve. He would not give us a solved case on a silver platter. Everyone needs to watch their backs'

We have been fishing in a pool of red herrings for too long and need to catch a clue that is substantial. Will Keith's ex-boyfriend John, be the lead Ken and we are looking for? I hope so but will not hold my breath, nor bother to ask our tight-lipped author.

I love how this story and all of the character's relationships are evolving, Phil is moving on from being a grumpy, moody, and lonely patient, to actively being involved in the world and people around him. There are sure to be many more window reflections for all of us yet to see. Most likely to include Phil's son, Stanley , and the shared stories of the two new friends and counselors. As stated so well by @Summerabbacat.

This chapter was focused on the business of the Devlin-Major's growing empire of resorts and the large sums of money being invested, They have come a long way since the beginning of the first story. Their friendship with Dan Kinley and wife continues and has grown into the Devlin-Major and Kinley Enterprises. The couples children are growing up, as well. I would reduce the offered price. The bankrupt lodge with its arrogant and combative owner and a dwindling staff should come down in value even more.

Ken believes Michael was not involved in the other murders but for Joe's safety, it was good he was caught. The case may be back at square one, but Ken and Joe"s household appears to be adding one. They both seem very happy to include Tom in their new relationship. Joe will soon be Tom's guardian by using his connections to make this happen. The case seems to have gone cold.

This is a copy of a comment I had planned to post, but was getting too long and didn't cover all the info RMW shared' A preview from chapter 11 of our next victim in the attacks on the disabled, from the drawn pentacle crime map. Morris-Walker sighed. “Oh, Jamie, sometimes, I despair. Of course, a headless person cannot be killed. However, a mentally ill person can. It is all symbolic." According to RMW the murders are supposed to gain the energy or power of the mind. "Using special techniques, these powers can be harnessed and redirected. There are two situations which let the power of the mind flow. The first is the awakening, like in your case. The other is death or better the seconds before death, especially a violent and painful death.” Jamie now understands more about these clones. “It was intelligent, but you did not kill it. You disrupted its manifestation. It returned to where it had come from. Maybe unhappy, but very much alive.,, People with the right techniques can draw them, or bind them one could say, to obey their commands, but they can also be bargained with to perform services in exchange for mental power.” A problem with the stats on the disabled was pointed out by Commander Dalgliesh “I can find a significant increase in violent crime against disabled people, as it has been observed for other minorities. This is in line with general findings in the current climate.” Could this also be happening beyond the disabled population, but be harder to pinpoint? Why do they appear to be going after RMW, or could he have gained the techniques to control them? If they can awaken special powers, would it not be wise to expose more allies to this possibility?

The only information we know was shared by RMW with Jamie in chapter 11. We would have to trust RMW to even accept those, but there is a lot info that has not been addressed. His take on energy, power, and doors to multiple realities has many answers or red herrings. The awakening of special powers, control of the clones and many hows, whats, and whys are there also . But the who is questionable?

Mike could smell a rat, “You. Lying for that sodding toff.” “Do you really expect me to believe that? Others might not have noticed, but I did. You were fidgeting and not looking at anyone when giving the answer.” And now we have weeks to hash this out while @lawfulneutralmage and Jamie "have to go for two weeks to Gravesend for compulsory retraining." All in all, Mike took it better than expected but Janie was omitting a few details. Like some big naked clone details.

Google Answer: What is the meaning of patiently waiting? In a way that shows that you are able to wait for a long time or to accept annoying behaviour or difficulties without becoming angry. 🕵️♂️ Just the facts @chris191070 ❤️ We have a mystery to solve here 🕵️♀️

How about "We were out at 1 AM in the middle of nowhere drinking a few ales and decided to do some cow tipping."

Quote: “Okay, then we should talk about what we do when we find them. What then?” “I have prepared six different basic press releases which I can adjust accordingly. The main problem is finding a reason for me being there in the first place.” This should be interesting!

Quote: “Yes,” he said “there was something. I’ve heard about letter boxes, and I’ve seen pictures, but I’ve never seen one in real life. I don't understand why this is so unusual? What am I missing here? I do understand the importance of this statement: Quote: He drove me to this street. It wasn’t very far away, just a few streets from where he lives.

Speaking about the count, how many Big Naked Clones did Jamie take on? I'm unsure, five or six? He has become quite skilled with his knife, which seems the only way to stop them. Now he is blacked out and so are we, until the next chapter. Yep that's a cliffy'

I was a fan of this story 2 years ago and if you missed it, you will enjoy this version. I agree with my fellow reviewers opinions that this story is 5 star worthy. The story takes place mostly in a 2011 Israel, with a few UK chapters included for background and set-up. It also is a bit of an action/ adventure story with a surprising collection of forces working to smooth the bumps and the complexities of the situations that occur. Today's 2024 headlines on the current Middle-east situation, really show the insight that @Mancunian expressed so well in his original story. This is a reflection to the situation at that time and place, and a nice enhancement to his "Boot World" series.

Bonus Chapter - Going Home, The Final Leg
Flip-Flop commented on Mancunian's story chapter in Bonus Chapter - Going Home, The Final Leg
I am so happy that you were inspired to add this bonus chapter to the 2022 version of the story, that ended with their arrival at the airport, It gives Benjamin and Joseph a more complete view as to how much their lives are going to change. This new country presents an exciting new world of opportunities, experiences, and family to them. It also gives Grandpa Ox's involvement in this family's past, present, and future the attention that it deserves. Manny would have been so proud of his boys Ian and Kevin, and thankful to his friend Ox. Looking forward to more about them in the future! -
Yes, you might want to keep that @raven1 guy around.
-
Just like the previous Kenneth Hall story, the victims are piling up quickly. Joe and Ken's intense bonding did not seem to surprise Sal or Lt. Morton. The chapter ends with a @chris191070 tease. Should be a fun ride ahead.

Colin's visits have already had a positive effect on Phil's mood. I really enjoy the humor in his stories. I do believe his counselor experience will start showing more in future discussions. I would love it if Stanley should happen to show up sometime. Colin's situation should also be revealed as their visits continue. The glazed doughnuts went over well but a Big Mac and fries would seal the friendship completely.

Totally agree. I did also, and wondered why the comments had taken a confession direction? I was eight or nine and it was mostly a group thing. Many camp-outs with three to six boys, combined with strip poker, and my best friend who instigated all kinds of dares. Gosh,I thought we would be talking about cards in bicycle spokes. Did that too.

Late to this story but glad to be here with the rest of your interested readers. Being gay and the last member of my immediate family still alive and kicking, I have a bit of experience in the issues being discussed. I cheated and read the comments before reading the chapter. I was hooked. Will be caught up soon.

The backroom operation (Tom, Dick, John and staff} have been working hard behind the scenes with hopefully more to come. Tom seems confident, but more needs done by them, and by their UK connections. Just this operation would make an interesting story. Jacob is also doing his part to tie up Joseph and Benjamin's loose ends in Israel. Sadly Ariel the beloved pet, will have to be left behind, for now. She will be with her pups and a loving family, which may be best for her. Still a lot has to fall into place before a happy ever after ending back in their home in the UK. Great writing and editing by @Mancunian and @raven1 for a tight, smooth, heart warming re-write of this complicated story.
