Well there was this one boy…that was so into fitness and sports at like 12-14 he had a flawless chest and six pack. Lighter skin that had softness look to it. I just wanted to constantly stroke it. He had braces a while, then one day just a retainer. His lips looked so soft and he had a small very faint smattering of freckles under his sky blue eyes that I noticed went nearly navy blue at times. His hair was almost a chestnut brown and looked so soft too. He kept it in a side part and had a natural set . God he was beautiful.

Well shit. SOMEBODY is jealous 😂. My how the plot has already twisted.

Brave of Mitch. The way he looked at Peter has me thinking crush. Yay Peter! Boneheaded behavior from Carl. Wise behavior from Tom. Glad to see Coach has a level head. Pity Peter didn’t dislodge Carl’s tooth. For his sake, he’s lucky his head didn’t catch the lock catch. That would’ve been more damaging naturally. Head wounds bleed a lot but it sounds like a laceration and minor concussion. I was right that Peter should’ve watching his back. Things are really going to get interesting now. Carl really isn’t going to quit.

Sigh Neanderthals and followers are in every high school. Proud of the confidence change. I worry the uncle might be right. The boy can hold his own 1:1, but his odds can change with more numbers against him. He might want to be looking over his shoulder

In my hunt for something new to read, i discovered your story. Man the mother was a piece of work. By the commentary, your mother was horrendous too. I’m sorry you experienced this and for the loss of your father. She doesn’t deserve the family she birthed. I’m glad you found freedom. I have a highly critical mother too but nothing like this. At times I have to force myself to not respond to when she’s on her high horse again. If it isn’t being critical, she’s guilt tripping me. I see through it now however.

Well if you want to keep readers on edge don’t change that beautiful mind and run with in once in a while. Why not? 😂

This was a good story. You certainly could have take. Jason down a dark path after Adam’s lies and gone further but you didn’t need to. It was an enjoyable read

I’m ok with this wrap up. I would’ve liked to see the end when Jason screws his parents over but it’s fine without.

Well that went about as soft as I expected. I half wondered if there was more to Adam’s story than he was letting on. I don’t blame Jason for being pissed. He handled it correctly. I think I might’ve been a little harder to win back than he was however. But the again, I have severe trust issues so there’s that.

As expected. I hope Jason is truly pissed enough to do what needs doing.

As it is, I’m 10 chapters in to a 12 chapter story plus an epilogue.

That was their loss imo. Each story I’ve read has a life of its own. I don’t think it did any of them justice to compare them to each other. I’ve said before your character building is excellent. My only frustration is that, with all your stories, they end to wrap up just as I’m really getting vested in the characters and want to see the story continue but I get why you don’t. Just to write this much is a lot of work.

But yes I did have those experiences early on and it was not safe to act on them in public. Not back then. Not with that school.

Hell I still catch myself with a guy at work. I’m too chicken to act on it though. He may have caught once or twice and maybe suspects but we’re all waay too busy to catch each other privately to interact. Oh well.

Ok wtf. First of all, it’s bad enough to send your child off and not tell their sibling about them until they’re an adult. It’s even worse that they split twins up. I have twins 3 pairs actually in my Large family. I love watching them all interact . It’s great to see how close they are. To do this..cruel doesn’t even begin to appropriately describe it. Then let’s not ignore the fact the poor girl was born deaf. That doesn’t make her stupid. If anything, it makes her even smarter. Now I’m wondering if it wasn’t their mother’s call so much as it was their father to separate them. Could he be even more cruel and selfish than their mother? It isn’t like they weren’t able to raise the girl. In my family history there were records of having to give children up (this was in the 1800s) because they couldn’t afford to raise them. I’m angry and sad at the same time. Also, Lexi is turning out to be a great friend.

I agree on all of this. I can’t really add much to it. Hopefully Jason isn’t too consumed with the information in that envelope that the trip is more of the same stress with a new location. That said, kudos to Adam exercising patience with Jason recognizing his needs and putting them over his own. The fact heat out told Jason he’d take him to find her and scrap the coast plans says a lot. As for Jason’s mother, I’m not really surprised but I am more disgusted that she is using the news of this sister to manipulate Jason. That’s pretty low in my book.
