Boot Camp----I expect you are suggesting a brief intense period of upheaval , shock and pain and not a real military, boot camp. Would such a camp create any change in their lives and improve their approaches to others? They might end up even more rebellious and angry. Would they voluntarily accept going to a boot camp and be willing to face the struggles ahead? Maybe the notion of a boot camp is chathartic to enough readers, though. I went through training in the US Army that had a useful survival purpose. I started out in a formal boot camp in the US Army. I would not wish it on anyone who did not volunteer. It was 8 very demanding weeks long and so unlike my home life. I mentally prepared my for what was next. I read The Problem of Pain by CS Lewis and Candide by Voltaire--of course it was "the best of all possible worlds"--lol-- to accept my upcoming session. Officer Candidate School made boot camp feel calming. It was worse in terms of physical and psychological stress that lasted 26 weeks. I remembered the old vaudeville joke--"What are you hitting yourself in the head with that rod? ----- Because it feels so good when I stop." I graduated and the pain stopped. I received my commission.

Finley enjoyed himself and most of the company at the bar. He agreed to meet Jake and them again in a week for pizza and would meet Jake's brother who lost an arm in combat.We will see if they are able to relate and if Finley might be a therapeutic balm or an irritant. Both Finley and Emment got along after Emment first felt danger. They did not explore who they were but at least grew in the knowledge they both had magical tattoos and did not drink alcohol. I hope Finley sleps well. Maybe, they will open up more to each other. It seems to be a slow process.

They went to the club and learned more about themselves and had fun. They are open to more ---They let go at the club and were pleased. “So, that’s what it’s called now, showing me around.” Then he looked a bit bashful, “I realised that, in the right company, I enjoy it, being naked and having an audience.” “And I’m the right company?”, we were both grinning. “You bet.” I wonder how they will expand their experiences next?

Lyoth is really trying to help Nunta to reconnect with her real mother....No breakthroughs, yet. Interestingly, he is trying to let Nunta see new connections or remember things through good tasting food which Mama Goddess did not offer.

All's well that ends well. Ahmed and his mother and hencemen were caught and arrested and looking forward to serious jail time for their horrible crimes. The kidnapped girls recovered and the criminals are identified to solidify the legal case. Tom and George were known to have helped find the stolen girls and were treated with respect and admiration on campus. Thier security guards stayed to insure they were safe.

drsawzall, I also noticed a key part of the same thought of Oscar--"For me, I knew that the coastal property and the compound would somehow be part of my future, what exactly, I was still to find out.: Oscar had a great time showing his two friends his retreat. They kept busy. He became emotional and cried when they left to go to their homes overseas. Luckily, people who cared about him rallied to support him. Oscar , I expect, is going to grow and change as he undertakes his major educational endeavor. He will need to be open to new ideas and friends.

Seeing the wide spread devastation makes the loss real. They are crushed and all they knew are killled. Their clear option is to go to Boullia Bay.

Claire needs help with Jack. Brad explained to her that she had to be clear and set the rules. She does not want him to play around and is afraid if he wants to, that she cannot accept it and will be devastated. Brad will talk to Jack about her concerns. He has experience in these matters. Let us hear what Jack says. It will be a defining moment.

All the principals have reconnected by communication. However, Stawren and Lyoth have a problem child. Alihte's daughter wants to go back to Momma Goddess. Lyoth is allowed by Nunta to enter her cabin. Can Lyoth learn from Nunta something useful in order to figure out what makes sense? Does Lyoth have an ulterior motive and plan?

Is he the bad cop to the good cop in the office? He opinion might be discounted as such--or not.The area Brohm and Nathan want to step up a guild office in is not currently being served. Their area might need their help. It is a gap in the guild operations.

Is there still a possibility of a French effort to kidnap the King? George and his men and ship will be ready. Calvert will know if the conditions are right. Calvert living near the King now could respond fast to protect him as well as the guards who will be ready to fight the kidnappers near the King's residence.

They started off on the wrong foot and Laird was not pleased. Now ,Laird smells a rat. They know what to do and really stopped the attack.They are too skilled and effective as fighters in his mind. But, their backstory is that they were traders, not fighters Laird is a right bastard after the fighting. He should be pleased to have skilled fighters that saved the day, not concerned. You get the feeling he does not want competition or is just a tough guy who is unhappy and naturally suspicious. Laird says he will talk with them again to learn more about them. They need his support to join the guild. Let us hope things work out so that Laird needs them and thanks them.

There were so many ups and downs and reasons to be angry. The tension was evident. Something bad and unexpected just had to happen and it did--The man in black essentially attacked Julie's and Greg's house and blew out windows. Connor was paralyzed by the sound which no one else heard. M freaked out. Jack ran away. Greg saw the destruction and went crazy.Connor punched him. Greg gave them 30 minutes to leave or he would call the cops. Jule encouraged them to leave. They made peace with Nathan and Julie. Hopefully, Julie will handle Jack, if he returns. They left to live for a few days at the place of his workmate, Marcus. It is a dump but safe from Greg etc. M realizes the man in black can manipultate time and space and had been near them. He told Connor he will talk with Mother to come up with a plan. Good. Connor will go to work and M will develop a plan to handle the man in black. What could go wrong?

Do not you like Emmet? He has a good heart and great friends who encourage and center him. They speak openly to each other. As a result of Emmet mentioning Finley he agreed and realized he wanted to invite Finley to meet with them at their favorite bar. He saw Finley at the tattoo shop and made the offer to meet friends at the bar. After delaying and thinking about it , Finley agreed to meet. His friends will keep the conversation neutral and not ask about his past which could be touchy. He has not mentioned it, yet but has nightmares. He wants to be able to forget it all-good and bad times.Emmet wlll help him with his skills after being raised by witches. Unfortunately, Finley sits across from Emmet ai the table with other friends and Emmet senses a predator and is ill at ease. Can Finley make him more comfortable? I hope things do not go downhill.

Thomas and Keith are getting along and talking and more and took a walk outside, They are becoming more of a comfortable, expressive couple. Thomas is going to be bring some items over to Keith's place. They had a pleasant visit with Bart and Greg and found things in common. Next up, Bart and Greg will come over to Keith's place for a meal. Unfortunately, Keith still has nightmares about his beatings and psycholigical abuse from his dad. It went on till he was able to get a job and move out.Keith thought what his dad did was normal for kids his age and he just endured it till he could leave it. He opened up to Thomas. Thomas offered to talk more with Keith to get him to adjust and maybe help end his torment at night. So far, Keith feels he will just go along. But, he now knows Thomas is willing to be a friendly ear. Thomas will talk with his brother about Thomas's feelings. I imagine he might know of a good couselor.

Connor and M were just beginning to reconnect. M was more open about his past and his plans. He assured Connor there was no invasion intended. Connor was still concerned. Tey still became romantic. Two shared orgasms really helped. But on the way back from the party with very little traffic on the road--so strange--Connor saw the man in black ahead on the road and crashed the car avoiding him. Now he and others are going to the hospital. I hope M does not register as unnatural. Blast it, Connor has to show up for his job at 8AM tomorrow. The man in black is returning and hurting Connor. Mother is not helping. M has memories that hurt him. Michael must have sexually active and been very abused before he died.

George's insight into Calvert's appointment were invaluable and a caution. They are safe from the charges but the Queen has undisclosed reasons to back them and wants Calvert to attend especially to one of her daughters who likes him. George thinks Calvert might be considered safe--which is unnerving. The main point is that she backed them and helped the King to be angered at the charges. St Vincent is to move on and will be sure Chalmers is destroyed and he has one less battle fight with a powerful noble. I think Calvert should be watching and listening to the Queen and she might disclose her reasons. He wants a ship later and performing well in his new job can help him later. The peace lasts only about a year and a stronger navy will be needed soon. George commented....“I think that the Queen probably heard of this, and she, along with St. Vincent, persuaded the King that the letter should be destroyed. Instead, you are to be posted to attend the princesses,” Granger said. “It is quite possible that they believe what the letter implied and have decided that makes you a safe escort for the princesses.” “That is not good,” Calvert said automatically. “I cannot see the King sanctioning this.” “Neither can I, which makes me think that the Queen has engineered this and has kept her reasons to herself,” Granger said. “I suspect that she voiced considerable outrage over Chalmers’ letter, and convinced the King it was false.”

Wow--the lives in this house are a total mess Greg is a bully and a drunk who abuses his wife and son. His son is a brat and self-indulgent slob who is very immateur. M is part alien who inhabits a body, Michael, that almost or may have died.Mother revived him. M is being chased by an obsolete alien who wants to kill him. Connor is in pain and has terrible headaches from the tracker the man in black put in his head. Added to Connor's rough mental state and anger at being here , M's honest explanation of who and what he is does really disturbs him and causes him to avoid M The next day could be devastating--Everyone will have to face the consequences of what they have said and done. It could get very unpleasant and go downhill. Plus, Connor has a job interview while enduring headaches. What is M going to do and say? Will Mother step in?

Things are looking up. The 7 girls were found--abandoned. Ahmen realized his effort was compromised he had to give them up and fly home to safety. He intends to return later to repeat his human traficking plans. Luckily he was followed from the hotel and his location is now known. His hideout is discovered and he does not know it . The Police will be on him soon. The only quibble I have with the torture effort is that the US--not the bad guys--learned that waterboarding was very effective. We broke the 9/11 guys by waterboarding and the simple process was well known.

Good News--A great solution developed through Royal action. Calvert and Granger are rehabilatated by the King and possibly the Queen. St Vincent gave the King the letter. The King was aghast at the charges and destroyed the letter. The sodomite issue is ended. Calvert is made an equerry to the King with likely duties attending to the Princesses--especally Amelia The man making the charges has destroyed his naval career and will likely remain in the West Indies. Perhaps, George's grandfather might keep an eye on him and note if he makes any trouble. Peace is near. The navy will be reduced and captains and men will be sent ashore. George and Calvert must not expect a command for a while. Granger and Calvert maybe spending time in London in different locations and might be able to meet if they are careful. Cavendish has shown up at court and talked with George. He could take any confidential messages or private letters from George Meanwhile George has arranged by paying a great amount for a famous opera singer to present on his ship in order to give a performance for the King when he arrives on the ship. George knows the King loves opera music. The King should be surprised and very pleased.Let us hope the efforts goes forward without problems. George would be pleased if the opera singer becomes interested in George in a romantic way--at some pont after she visits the ship. This would help him since he has no close female friends. Mark, you devised an ingeneous solution that quickly resolved the serious problem. I did not expect this. Good Luck with your educational responsibilities.

If Simon is unconscious, then the whole game plan of Crusnik has changed. Simon is not lost without Yidian and his(their?) strength. Seeing him regain consciousness will be glorious. Thank you for this insight and hope Al Norris and others.

It seems the country retreat is finished. It is impfressive. Now Oscar has the freedom to decide what to do with it and consider who he wants to reside in it and help him. He has lots of time. His two friends may have useful ideas. They are all soon going to be starting their next education programs and becoming responsible adults.

Oh Great--Ahmed found out about the sting from a foolish girl who told him about her warning and the boys who were looking for him. It ended up with the sting not working and the girl being captured before she got to the restaurant to meeet Ahmed. Now she is bound and gagged with 6 others girls in an abandoned farm house out of the way from the city. A thug sent by Ahmed to kill the boys was himself captured and bound. He said he will not tell them where the girls are. He was promised that since he wll not talk he will face torture learned from Desert Storm experiences. "When we’re through with you, you will beg for us to kill you, but we’ll continue with the torture. Your best alternative will be to tell us what we want to know.” Wow--private citizens do not have the limits police do. Will the thug talk and if so will it be in time? Meanwhile, the police will be looking for any helicopter flying in the rural places moutside Binghamton that could be used to pick up the girls.

So, they went to a Heyward garden party and met the man. He invited them to swim and then swam in the nude with them. Heyward asked questions about two artists and said to Vaughn he would be in touch. All very professional but handled in the nude in key parts of the party. Dan was intrigued enough to want to go to a real sex party wearing minimal clothes. Vaughn and he are aimimg to go to one now that Heyward has sparked their interest. Heyward remained mysterious. Dan and Vaughn are uncertain about any future interaction with him. It will be up to Heyward. They are going to be flexibe.

So, Emmett likes Finley and thinks he is sexy. But will not get closer to him. He has been warned off by Tony and was told Finley was sensitive. Emmett does not want any complications. He now intends to get his tattoo completed and move on. It is a safe action which has done him well in the past. Emmett is a dragon with years of military service. Out of the blue his father calledafter two years to berate him and tell him to be home for the winter soltice. Emmett agreed and did not want to go...".but I was not a typical dragon and did not fit in with my family. I had no real place in the huge estate." Something has to change if these two actually begin a relationship and Emmett stays. Will we find out soon? It should not take long to finish the tattoo and let it heal.
