This seems to be a race to the bottom at first to tag the story, but the answers changed it all. Now a cure for the hybrids sounds fantastic! Asa says he can cure them. It is a physical problem. They called Sebastian and will be on the way to Montana. Caleb is going to feel much better and should remove his guilt. His mate will cure the pups!

If I would guess, I think Fran can only throw his support to Edith. The Duke gave up on him as well as the ambassadors. The Duke did not seek help from Gustave and his forces located nearby. Fran clearly does not matter to the Duke, Fran might try to fade away, but his best hope for a title lies with helping Edith to be the regent. I think he can try , using a faked letter from Gustave, to direct Gustaves's forces to aid Edith. Fran would be very grateful to Fran. The forces will be well received by Edith and Ed.

It looks like Edith is at a severe disadvantage in her first big battle--outnumbered and not holding the high ground. She needs more troops. Fran decides to take a great risk and face alone the attacking rebels surrounding the estate. He actually does not want to save his superiors, but intends to turn over Gustave and the Imperial Ambassador. Will his hated superiors trust him with their lives and instead try to escape? If Fran lives amd Gustave is killed, will he under the guise of being directed by Gustave order his troops to support Edith?

I am worried about the meeting on the 24th, Travis has Will and his family in his corner. His brother and sister have been taught by his father to hate him,, Thinking about how George Granger was surprised at a dinner to find out his father and brother wanted him to give the each one third of his inheritance from Lady Kendal, will Travis find out his mother and siblings have ready a joint request for substantial gifts from him ? Today such gifts would require huge gift tax payments and reduce any amounts by one half. Travis can say no and gain further ill will from his family, Curtis would love this.
