Azula has met the General , Raithion, under unpleasant circumstances. He is acting in his normally flipant manner around authority. Azula is seeking out soldiers to protect his ore carrying vehicle and wanted to find a young officer he could bribe to protect his carriage travelling from the port. He was trying to avoid the general. He, instead, was forced to meet the firece general who he knows he cannot bribe.The general is amused by Azula and seeks him out for information on the thefts. When he finds outs what Azula knows, he offers to protect the ore carriage, Azula says no. He is captivated by his male strength and handsome appearance , but is worried about the general who has a reputation as a ruthless warrior . He cannot be a good fit as leading a guard element for the carraige. It is beneath his station. He has to have another agenda. The general will not let Azula go in peace. By luck, the two have found each other. They are attracted to each other, but only now in a superficial sense.Raithion learns what he needs to know about the ore thefts. Azula will get his needed military protection. The theives will be thwarted if not killed, I bet. I racket might be exposed and stopped.

Travis has set forth his boundaries and three wants. He has strong views. He now has a better family headed by JP and Stef and a 17 year old who he loves. Life is good. He wants nothing to do with Zach, Taylor or Big. He paid $50 million and that ended any need to deal with them. He will delay going to UCLA until the winter and wants to try his hand at acting and commercials and going to parties making contacts. He loves Will and wants certainty. He gets an offer of delayed marriage that satisfies Will and Travis. But, who knows what will happen in 4 years or along the way? Let them bask in good feelings right now until any complications arise.

Travis was very uncertain and worried until they decided. They might play around during college and early work activities, but that will eventually change. Travis focused and wanted an answer from Will who had no problem replying. . “If I asked you to marry me in four years, what would you say?” he asked me. I paused, pretending to think about it, even though I knew the answer. “I’d say yes,” I said. The deal was sealed. They both pledged their love and willingly made a marriage commitnent.

Jackie is going to be difficult. He is having trouble hiding his feelings. They do not want Watkins to smell a rat and sense anything wrong. Otis and Hudson exist on another plane. They made love. "And when Otis straddled him again and their bodies began becoming one, Hudson realized that he was allowed these precious moments, and he could put everything else aside and just feel happy for a while." I noted two types of major dreams or visions. The first one seems to be individuals under attack with flames everywhere in the vision led by a "hawkling." The burning items thrown into the room seem to contain what would be needed on a trip--dried food, fire stones, etc. They are valuable and unusual. Adga's crew wants them. The second main vision involves horrible fights with living beings fighting dead beings in scary battles. They seem and feel extremely real to those who dream.The crew is told one common vision involves this---"The Drow pulls out two weird-looking blades and takes the hand holding the chain off the Orc. The Elf and Human team up to take off both legs. The Dwarf kicks it back into the blood-filled crack. The big Lizard comes out of the blood… the other two lizards swoop down… It is a nasty fight, but doesn’t last long.” this could be Xavier's forces fighting at the end of Seandra or maybe in the caves full of undead as they search for the fabulous power supposedly near Lucas the Lost. I look forward to what the next chapters reveal. Things are not yet clear. Adga is tested and is accepting and growing into her leadership role.

What a welcomed start to the new year--Granger in all his glory. Thank you, Mark. You have set the stage well. Caroline agrees to his terms They meet when she calls upon him unexpectedly and he realizes she feels ruined and wants to recover a place in society and will be looking to George for help.She had to be waiting for him since no one stays in London in the summer. I wonder what she wants and will ask of him? George is alone now without a male partner and thinks about his past male lovers and considers Calvert his prime man who he could commit to long term. Unfortunately, Calvert on the way home recovering from his injury is captured by the French at sea. George writes to Tallyrand to support his speedy parole. I expect George's intervention can help Calvert return home. Tallyrand will have a price, no doubt. Meanwhile, George is kept waiting in London awaiting a meeting at the Admiralty for an unidentified reason. Will he be given a ship? At this time he is very happy with domestic matters and would not regret being able to spend more time at home. He is at peace at home with no real concerns or problems. Taking on a ship will add a new focus and set of pressures. If he is tasked with taking command and preparing a ship for sailing and eventual war, he is going to have a relatively short time. This peace from the new treaty only lasts 14 months

Fantastical and magical things are entering the room. It is impossible, but it is a fact. The crew are stunned. Adga takes command. Tez and Nuk are taking on more challeges. Adga seeks to get a map of the area drawn. It will be a first and mind opening useful. The newest nobles on their training ritual, Reklos and Thul-mora. are having great trouble fitting in and fighting, So far, they are the weakest link. Troubles keep appearing.

Liam is on a ski trip. Apparently, he needed a break from life after clearly losing Dylan We find out Emma was beaten by her husband who can be violent. Dylan learned that Uncle Hank, her husband, was a crime lord with tough underlings. It is suggested that Liam learned how ro be violent as a tactic to get his way from his father. It appears his mother and Emma seem not to realize that Dylan can no longer care for Liam. The sustained beatings and two hospitalisations has driven Dylan away from Liam. I hope Emma stays safe. Dylan can tell Jessica about Liam if he does not return in time for school. Will Dylan explore Jake's backgrond as a supposed killer?

I hope you are feeling much better. Slowly, the situation and relationships are being explained, But mysteries still are present. Mark is revealed to not be who he portrayed himself as. He leaked Grey's plan to escape to his dad. Now he tells Grey he is needed to stop a wider supernatural war and to restore the balance. What does he mean ? Shockingly, we learn Dave and Mark are twin brothers and sons of Beatrice. Mark was not born a werewolf but turned into one. Beatrice is connected, maybe to his turning, She also was a midwife to Grey's mother at his birth just 9 months before the birth of Dave and Mark. What is going on? Will Breatrice appear and explain things and tell them what must be done? Grey's former pack is getting very cruel and dangerous. Can Clara help summon Beatrice?

What hapened ?We go from highs to lows---- Dylan and Jake made love for two days. Dylan was transformed and relaxed and confident afterwards. Jake was a master at sex and Dylan was made for him. Elle got Dylan to admit he was no longer a virgin and he spoke too loud in the school cafeteria so everyone heard it. Liam got upset and fled. Liam went missing for a week, No one knew why or where he was, His queen bitch girlfriend pounched on Dylan thinking he knew about Liam. He denied knowing anthing, Jessica threatened him and suggested he could get hs younger sister thrown out of her prized school, if Dylan was onvolved with Liam. Liam kept quiet about Liam's sexual desires for him. Dylan has no such desires for Liam.She stated that there is a dark side to Jake and he has done somerthing bad in the past. He is worried about what Jessica might do. She can hurt people and can no qualms about it. Arriving home he finds an injured, stitched up Emma . Liam's mom.who says Liam is ok. Wow--- Damn, what happened? It sounds like accident or some criminal attack , but I am just guessing. Why is she reaching out to her former friend and Dylan now ? The next chapter should answer the questions.

Oh--would that this is a true story! In their early to middle thirties, they connected and found true love that stood the test of time . They reached the top of their musical profession and kept loving each other and creating wonderful, well received music You feel good and happy for them. What an uplifting story!

To clear up a point--I assume Curtis Buck paid someone to bug the kitchen and office in Brad's house and possibly Miranda's house, too. I don't see another player involved unless Mark wants to be laying a basis for a scandal or blackmail plot in the next story. Will had a cook fired for her homophobia among other issues and she was connected to Curtis Buck .She could have planted the listening devices. Jake is going to have Miranda's house examined and he can follow-up on any potential spy as he sees fit. “Someone bugged ours,” my father said, the fury pulsing out of him when he said that. They’d found two devices in our house: one in the kitchen, and one in his office. I’d decided that was yet another good reason to have my important conversations on my bearskin rug."

Mark, You have a very significant challenge ahead. I wish you good luck and hope your creative spirit continues. I assume the title "Final Chapter" means this story has ended. You have completed two major stories , Northern Exposure--over 398, 000 words and Gap Year--over 435,000 words. I and your many other readers greatly value what you write and are hoping to read more from you when you are able and motivated. I pray it does not take a great deal of time for you to extend the two story lines in ways you believe are interesting and important. I am very grateful for the opportunity to read your substantial, well thought out and well constructed stories. You are one of the best writers on this site.

Final chapter--Wow--The Gap Year and all our speculation ends--You tied it up easily-All the key players are on the same page Curtis committed suicide and all agreed. Taylor and Big get $50 million each in a undefined scheme that looks like an insurance( hence untaxed) payout. No one wants the real srory and Buck family soap opera to become public. Will and Travis are even more insync. Zach expressed his love for Taylor and she was thrilled, They will be together soon and he will be enjoying Taylor using a strap on to please him. Taylor wants to see Travis and apologize for being such a bitch to him. Now what is next for Will? Will you show his continuing life in CA or his new life in Cambridge? This has been a fascinating, passion filled ride and Will has grown and learned about his friends and himself and found love. Zach is no longer central to his life and Travis is. He is ready to take on new challenges

The fleet is recovering. People are being helped and treated. Celebrations are being held. Good food is being eaten in the tradition of the military after a hard fought battle. I noted three powerful promises/implications. The fleet will not give up on seeking out the toasters and should have new capabilities.The discovered mineral will allow subspace communications and more when fully understood. Finally, the data dump about the attempted coup and expected and wanted fleet disaster should chill the leadership and give them a new purpose.

Just retribution --Dylan made Liam feel terrible as he laughed at him and rejected him.
