The story is not over yet--although it seems like all are tied together fitting an ending. It does not say completed or list "the end" at the bottom of chapter2. I wonder what happens next?

After a terrible time being used and tricked and raped by Brett, Josh reunited with Ethan and their friendship and love deepened. Josh's grandfather caught them having sex and wanted to thrash Josh. Well, the author gave away in the beginning that this is a story about vampires "Sub-genres: Romantic Fantasy, Vampires" I am looking out for how vampires are involved and what their limitations and powers are. This seems to be a good natured story with likable persons so I am expecting things to work out.

They are going to consider what to do. The three need help from trustworthy , accepting adults and they have that chance now. Perhaps the time away will give others time to vent and be less abusive. The three might look at their options with adults who are not judging them. Where can they go? I hate to think the three will end up in foster care.

Glad to find out the story was not abandoned Kavan and Gideon spoke clearly to each other. They have different truths. They see bonded differently from their own history. I see no reason for Kavan to return. He has separated from Konstantine by giving back his sword and was banned in order to favor Gideon. Gideon stays the soul mate bond or bloodsong is not that magnetic or compelling and can be ignored, He has been abandoned and expects it could happen again. However, all stopped when the Conte called them to his war room. Master Caspian has agreed to loan both of them to the Conte to address a threat to vampire existence. Kavan and Gideon might be asked to use their hidden and invisible abilities to capture or steal or destroy some prized evidence or person. We will find on next time what their mission is.

Connor's plan to hurt Rybalt was lame and doomed to fail. Heck, Xpress laughed him off, Rusty could not be Rybalt--lol- So, Connor will have to trap Rusty in the act. Will Rusty be tracked? Maybe Connor or someone finding Rusty with August at some point will flip the narrative and make August Rusty's girl and mother of his fictious child. Rusty better come clean to Matty about his trip with August or Matty will be deeply hurt when the rumors of Rusty's hidden girlfriend spread.

I think it may already too late for Curtis to access the funds established for Travis. Gaining proof of death--since Travis is in hiding- and settling an estate takes time and Curtis does not have time. Travis promised he would leave evidence blaming his father for his death and this would complicate accessing any of the funds held for Travis. Will maybe at risk for capture by Curtis's minions at the beginning of the month and the trips planned will confuse the matter. I hope they take bodyguards on their trips. It is reasonable for Curtis, like Miranda, to assume after the week they shared in Hawaii that Will knows what Travis is doing. no mater his protests. However, Travis has not told anyone about his plans. It is as if he has gone into the witness protection program. If he has something more complicated than hiding underway, it should be a surprise. and. I bet, hurt Curtis. Also, Travis does not know of the details of Will's plan for the next 30 days. Ah, the joys of having a private plane. Will just added a NY trip segment. Grand just added new items to their itinerary in Europe. It would be difficult for him to link up with Will. If Travis at some point asked for help confusing his dad or If Stef wanted to add spice to the yacht trip and also help Travis stay hidden , he could add a crew member who looked in disguise for a while like Travis from a distance. But I think adding a red herring faux Travis person would be too risky and attract unwanted attention, unless the situation is so grave. But for now, I think Will is going to have an awesome time in Europe. It could be the highlight of his Gap year with Grand--and Stef--adding depth and make it also a grand tour type experience.
